What a lovely find! Perfect after a long day's drive! Acres of grassy park like sites. There is a river! Yet, we were surprised! We couldn't wait to park, pull out the chairs and pour the wine. Breathe! Slept like babies. Even though there were no hook-ups, we were happy campers!

Another little small town gem! We overlooked a greenbelt park where deer appeared daily. Walking to restaurants and shops was a highlight for us. We did it everyday, since this park is plunked right in town! We weren't familiar with this area and had intended to take our giant 5th wheel on the scenic highway to Eugene. Warning...don't do this! Anything longer than 30ft total length is not recommended. LOVED the recommended road though. One of the prettiest EVER!

Wow...we entered under the arch to an unbelievably beautiful ranch park. Jaw dropping! Our stay was wonderful. Staff worked with us to satisfy our desires in a better parking spot. Friends stayed up in a cabin. It was so fun to go back and forth for dinners and campfires. We loved it here...the best park we have every stayed in. Just wish we had spent more than 4 nights to see more of the whole area.

WARNING!!! I'll warn you ahead of time. RV's risk damage navigating and parking in some of these sites. Many of the site are extremely slanted, much more suitable to tents than RV's. It's a campground made 40 years ago. So there you go! All streets are one way, some sites go opposite the way you need if pulling an RV. If one person is blocking the road to back-in, all other traffic within the park is stalled. There is no other option to go around. This was mostly a problem with the dump station. My recommendation is to check out as early as possible in the morning to avoid lines forming behind you. Just to go to their site. Changing to a better site is nearly impossible in the summer months. So MAKE SURE YOUR SITE SUITS YOUR NEEDS. We were in site 76, says it's 48ft long. We had a problem with our 31ft 5th wheel, maneuvering into position. It was crazy. Site long enough, but road was a problem to back in from. I suggest the Park south of here is you have an RV. Sugar Pine State Park. They also have showers. Plenty of room, newer and so pretty.

Huntington Lake is a pristine and beautiful lake. This Forest Service campground is our favorite and we book a long time in advance to score a spot. So well maintained. While not totally private, spaces are far enough apart to remember you are in the wilderness. Some spots are actually two driveways with camping on either side. So avoid those if you don't want window next to yours. Our favorite site is Number 7. It's a double spot and cost twice as much, but backs up to the forest and accesses a wonderful walking path across streams. This spot normally fits a 25 ft vehicle in it. But by angling our big 5th wheel in, we fit great. Why am I telling you this? We don't want you here!!! But it's truly a gem! Hosts always helpful and accommodating.

This park is up on a hill with views of surrounding mountains and the race track. Our site was a perfect fit for our large 5th well. Site #36 provided us easy access to the restroom and almost level big pull through parking. This site was adjacent to the group RV picnic area, so on a weekend event, this may not be a quiet place to stay. We played golf at the nearby Laguna Seca Golf Course. During our weekday stay, we had self registration and very quiet days. Nice!

What a surprise we had when we arrived. Very nice! Although a true dessert type park: spaces were wide. Pictures didn't do this park justice. I recommend you see what activities are happening during your stay. We were here for a Triathlon. Park got very busy that day. We heard it can be crazy for Cochella Festival: very rowdy. So check. Wi-Fi at our site (#2) So surprised! We stayed a full week and did OK with our holding tanks and using the facilities a lot for showers and restroom. Wind came up in late afternoon. Beware of putting out awnings and lightweight outdoor things. What a great price for such an expensive area!!! We will come back here.
