The reception was quick and friendly. The sites are level gravel with grass beside but there was no picnic table at my site and no dish washing station. It was not too easy to find as it is down a side road just off the freeway but bigger signs are needed pointing to its location. However, once we did find it, the site was great with all the fast food one could ever need right within walking distance (McDonalds, Starbucks, pizza, pub, Burger King, Taco Time, etc.). The washrooms were clean and private with 4 separate rooms which each had a sink, toilet, and shower. This was one of the best parks we found on our travels.
This park is about 5 miles off the interstate. The entrance is easily missed so keep a sharp eye out for it. The reception was very friendly, helpful, quick, and efficient. The washrooms are very private with 4 separate rooms which each have a sink, toilet, and shower. We had a very shady site with mature trees which helped with the heat. The park has a lot of long term residents but was very quiet and quite safe feeling. The Wi-Fi was good but there was no dish washing station. There is not much within walking distance so buy your groceries ahead. I would definitely return to this park.
This park is easy to find right off the highway and is in quite a nice setting. The pads are gravel but have a picnic table on a grassy area. There are a number of semi-permanent residents but I felt very safe at this park. The washrooms were clean if a but dated. The laundry was cheap at $1.50 to wash and $.75 to dry compared to other parks. There is a store and restaurant (burgers, excellent pizza) on site. The WiFi was good, but there was no dish washing station. It is very close to Twin Falls for sightseeing. I would recommend this park over others near Twin Falls.
This park is near the highway with easy access but not noisy at night. The washrooms were somewhat clean but only had 3 toilets and 2 showers. The sites were level concrete pads with picnic tables on grass. The Wi-Fi was good but there was no dish washing station.
This park has easy access to the freeway but was quite quiet at night. The washroom building was exceptionally nice with 6 "ensuite" rooms each with sink, toilet, and shower which was very private. The sites are paved and level with a picnic table on a grass patch. The reception was very friendly and helpful with directions to the fabulous art gallery in town (a must see!). The only drawback was that there was no dish washing station. There was a good convenience store and a liquor store right across the street. I would definitely be back if I was in this area again.
The reception here was friendly and helpful. The sites are gravel with a grass area with a picnic table. There were a number of mature shade trees which helped with the heat. The wash rooms were very clean with 3 individual showers which had benches which was nice. The park is right in town within a 5 minute walk to a supermarket and a 15 minute walk to a Walmart. The only drawback was that there was no dish washing station. I would go back here again.
This place is easy to find and quiet at night. It is an older camp with gravel sites but lots of trees. The showers and restroom were very clean and well looked after. The greeting was friendly and the check in was easy. I'd go back.
We stayed in a cabin that had air conditioning which was great in the heat. It's right on the highway but not noisy. It has a pool and a small store with most of what we needed. My complaint is that the showers were either broken or exceptionally difficult to adjust off the very hot setting. There were a lot of sinks for washing but quite often the towels were broken and the garbage cans were full. The bathrooms need to be cleaned more than once a day to keep up with the demand. However, because it is so convenient to Arches, Canyonlands, and Moab, I would stay here again. It also has a secured entry system which worked well and increased the security within the camp.
You need to arrive early to get a site, but it is worth it. The setting is fabulous. There are lots of activities and sights right near the camp including a rustic cottage that sells fabulous pies for $5. I just loved this place despite it having only cold water in the sinks.
We stayed in the overflow lot for $14 with no electricity. The washroom only had one stall, one sink, and one shower. The other washroom had two of everything which is not enough for 75 sites with a lot of tenters and children. The roads and sites were mainly dusty. It was near the highway but was not noisy. There was no dish washing station. The reception, however, was friendly, efficient, and helpful.
The site we had was plain gravel with a picnic table. Ruby's is convenient to Bryce Canyon with the shuttle stop right at the campground. The store was just like a large convenience store with everything one would need for camping. The restrooms were clean and the place is right on the highway for easy access. It was quite windy and cold when we were there as it is quite high up on the plateau. At night, it was quite smokey and dusty which made it somewhat unpleasant. Also, there was no dish washing station.
The campground is right next to the highway in a somewhat industrial setting so there was a lot of traffic noise at night but easy access. We had free access to the pool and hot tub at the motel. Breakfast was available for $3 but we didn't use that service. The greeting was warm and friendly and the check in was quick and easy. There was no dish washing area in the wash house.
The reception person was somewhat grumpy and curt. I didn't receive a proper receipt so I don't know if I received the Good Sam discount or not. The sites are paved, but the park is somewhat like a new subdivision. We were about 2 blocks away from the wash house which made for quite a hike even though there were empty spaces much closer. The park is very close to a full service Walmart for groceries, etc. The Wi-Fii was spotty at best. There were no proper towels or soap in the shower/restroom, but the showers were big and clean. There was no dish washing station.
About 5 miles away from the freeway, but easy to find. It is in a great setting with trees and grass. The reception was warm and very friendly. The store had a number of useful items in it. The bathrooms were clean and accessible, but there was no dish washing station. We were given a tent site, but were allowed to plug into an electrical outlet. We had a very quiet, relaxing time here. I highly recommend this place.
Very large park with mostly permanent residents. Check-in was smooth. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's on the outskirts of Edmonton but access to the city and West Edmonton Mall was quite easy from the freeway. Freeway noise was not noticeable. Bathrooms were large and clean with lots of showers. I'd stay here again.
Stayed here after leaving Jasper National Park. We parked next to the picnic shelter which had 3 new sinks and 3 electric double-burner stove tops which was great for us to cook and eat outside our van. The very clean bathrooms were in the basement of the main building which made them warm after the cold night. This was the best campground we stayed in during our two week trip.
