Very convenient access to the interstate, fuel, and restaurants. All utilities worked well. Good strong WI-FI signal. Plenty of grass between good size level gravel sites. Extremely clean, "private" restrooms and showers. Very clean and well maintained facility. I would definitely stay here again.
A good place to stop for overnight. All utilities worked well including WI-FI. All sites are paved/concrete and fairly level. Free shuttle to Casino/restaurants. Sites are a little close together but workable. I would stay here again.
A great place to be able to park your RV "in the woods" and have access to a beautiful beach on the Gulf. Most sites are level, have plenty of room and privacy. All utilities worked well. Wi-Fi was weak; it was best to sit on the porch around the store where the Wi-Fi signal was very strong. Clean restrooms and showers. A very well maintained and clean facility overall.
OK for overnight. Close to I-10. Paid $32/night for full hook-up pull through. Level paved sites, clean restrooms, good WI-FI and cable. As noted in other reviews, too many nuisance rules and regulations.
The best of everything. At $95/night, expensive but well worth it. Paved roads, good sized sites, Excellent Wi-Fi and cable, beautifully landscaped, nice pool, super clean restrooms and laundry. I would love to come back here again for a longer visit in the future.
Paid $45/night for full hook-up back-in site. Very nice facility with paved roads, concrete and grass sites. Restrooms and showers very clean. Very strong Wi-Fi. No cable TV, but plenty of stations available via antenna. Very convenient for overnight between I-95 and Florida Turnpike.
Paid $60/night for full hook-up pull-through site. Sand roads are sites directly across from the beach. Sites are level, plenty of room between sites. Very private with vegetation and trees. Wi-Fi weak at sites not close to the office. Best to use Wi-Fi in office/rec room. Clean restrooms and showers. Within walking distance of excellent oceanfront seafood restaurant.
Paid $34.00 for a full hook-up pull through. Very easy on and off the interstate. Clean facility, level sites, clean restrooms and showers. Ex - KOA (much improved). WI-FI reception was good as is TV via antennae. Highly recommended for overnight stop.
Paid $64.00 per night for a beautifully landscaped waterfront site. Only minor complaint was a weak WI-FI, but it was very strong sitting under the palm trees near the office. Everything else was great. A great resort facility. Clean, well maintained, well managed. Would love to come back in the future for a longer stay.
Paid $30.00 for water/electric pull through site. Very hilly sites require leveling. Older facility, plenty of tall trees. Extra charge for WI-FI and cable TV. Close to interstate for easy access, but also a little noisy. OK for an overnight stop.
This is a very nice, clean and well maintained RV park. Very convenient off I-370 and I-70. All inner roads and pads are paved and level. Paid $52.00 for a full hook-up back-in site. Cable TV and Wi-FI were excellent. Restrooms and showers were very clean and perfectly maintained. I would stay here again without a doubt.
The rate was with a KOA discount. Very nice place to stay while attending the state fair in Grand Island (about 8 miles away). Easy on and off the Interstate yet very little noise from traffic. Very clean restrooms and showers. Wi-Fi and cable both worked well. Pizza/wings, etc. delivered to your site from the office/store. Would definitely stay here again.
Stayed here overnight on the way to Nebraska. Overall a good place to stay. Easy on and off I-90. A little noise for being so close but not bad. Site with and without trees are choices. Wi-Fi and cable very good. Very clean restrooms and showers.
Price reflects the KOA discount. I have stayed here in the past and will stay here again in the future. Great place to stay, well off major highways which makes for very peaceful nights. Crowded on weekends. Plenty of things for kids. Wi-Fi weak at times. Good TV reception with antenna. Restrooms clean but could be better. Owners very friendly and helpful.
Overnight here was OK. Paid $28.00 which included $2.00 charge for using a credit card. They prefer cash or check. Wi-Fi too weak to be useful. Restrooms clean but aging. Plenty of shade throughout the park. I have overnighted here in the past and would probably stay here again in the future.
Paid $9.00 per night with a NP Senior Pass (full price is $18.00 per night.) This is another example of a well run COE park. We opted for the "E" loop which has a little more shade than the other loops. All loops have lake views. Park is about 10 miles from the closest town of Marquette, which has a couple of restaurants and a grocery store. Other than that, it is fairly isolated which makes for very peaceful nights. The restroom/shower facility was fairly new, private and clean. I had very limited service on T-Mobile and had several tv stations to chose from with an antennae.
OK for overnight. Paid $27.00 for one night with Good Sam discount. All sites are fairly level. Restrooms and showers are older, well maintained, and clean. They are changing over to a new cable TV system. A special converter box is required for non-digital TV's. Over the air TV had strong signal. Wi-Fi was off and on while being worked on. It appears that they lost a few good sized shade trees at the tail of the Joplin tornado last year. Not as many good shady sites available.
Overall a very nice place to stay for a night or longer. I paid $10.00 per night for one of a few full-hookups spaces using a senior all America pass. Plenty of room between well shaded sites. Quiet, peaceful place but plenty of things to do for kids.
Without a doubt, one of the better places to stay in Hot Springs. Paid $36.00 per night with KOA discount for a full hook-u back in site. Paved roads and terraced fairly level sites in a hilly well shaded facility. Clean restrooms and showers. Good cable TV and Wi-Fi connections. Would stay here again in the future.
Paid $88.00 for 3 nights plus $21.00 for 3 day state park passes. All things considered, it is well worth the overall cost. The facility and sites are layer out to take advantage of the spectacular views in all directions.. All sites and roads are paved and concrete. All sites are level with plenty of room between sites. The showers (coin operated) and restrooms are large, very clean and well maintained. This is by all means one of the best RV parks I have stayed at.
Great place for overnight off I-70. Excellent Wi-Fi connection. Clean restrooms and showers. Large level sites. Super nice hosts. Plenty of shade sites available. Storm shelter on site. Overall well maintained facility. Would stay here again in the future.
Great place for overnight off I-70. Excellent showers and restrooms. The Wi-Fi was strong. The sites were large. Walking distance to restaurant. Paid $27.00 with Good Sam discount. Would stay here again.
A good place to stop overnight. Utilities, including Wi-Fi, worked well. All gravel, no grass or trees, no picnic tables or fire rings. The restroom was clean. Unusual layout for sites, kind of like "circling the wagons", but it appears to work OK.
Stayed here for a couple of nights while attending the state fair in Hutchinson. Mostly seasonal but well maintained. Wi-Fi worked well. No cable but plenty of stations via antenna. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Lack of rain has taken its toll on grass. Would stay here again in the future.
Paid $19.00 for electric only site with a senior discount. All roads are paved and sites are paved or concrete. Our site was level and had a beautiful view of the lake. Several sites had good lake views. Restrooms and showers were clean and very well maintained. This is another great example of Missouri State Parks.
Paid $35.00 per night for full hook-up pull-through. All gravel roads and sites very well maintained. Very good Wi-Fi connection and cable TV. Utilities all worked well. Very clean and well manicured park. Very clean restrooms and showers. Present owners are making many improvements. I will stay here again in the future.
Very nice place. Paid $31.00 per night with KOA card for a water and electric back-in site. The back-in sites are a little bigger than the pull throughs. Very good Wi-Fi connection. Very nice pool and fishing pond. Clean restrooms and showers. Close to the interstate, so there is a little road noise but not too bad.
We paid $20.00 cash for a full hook-up pull-through site. Although the facility is in need of general maintenance and repair, it is still an OK place to stop for a night. Not many other choices on I-35 in Iowa. It has good Wi-Fi and a couple of TV stations via antenna. Also has free shuttle to the casino and restaurant.
We paid $34.00 per night for a water and electric pull-through with a KOA card. This is one of our favorite KOA's We come here once or twice a year to visit relatives, and improvements are noted every year. Clean restrooms, abundance of shade trees, well manicured, nice pool. Some sites are a little tight. Strong Wi-Fi signal and plenty of TV stations via antenna. Will definitely return again.
Paid $24.00 for water and electric pull-through with Good Sam discount. Good utilities. Wi-Fi worked OK most of the time. Restroom/shower facility although aging was very clean and air conditioned. Gravel roads and sites. Could use a little more gravel to take up some of the standing water. The sites were good sized with plenty of big shade trees and well manicured grass. Close to the interstate but far enough away that there was no noticeable noise. Overall, a good overnight stop.
This is a very nice facility (as most COE parks are), and for $9.00 per night with a senior pass discount it is one of the best values around. All roads and sites are paved. Most sites will require leveling. It is approximately 12-13 miles south of Monroe City, but worth the drive.
Overall this is a very nice facility and a pretty good value at $25.00 per night, cash only. Full hookups but no cable TV. Wi-Fi reception was OK but a little slow at times. Very clean restroom facility with private lockable individual rooms. The sites were mostly grass with plenty of big shade trees and room between sites.
This is a very nice place that is fairly new and will be much better in a few years when the trees grow enough to provide shade. It is what I would call a "high end" resort based on the price and amenities. It has all concrete roads and pads that are perfectly level. No pull-throughs, all back-ins. The pool and clubhouse are beautiful. The restroom/laundry facility is very clean but pretty small for 177 sites. I think the assumption is that most traffic in the future will be Class "A" motorhomes. Good Wi-Fi reception but no cable TV. I think $51.00 per night is a little over priced.
Paid $43 for full hookup, pull-through site with Good Sam Discount. Overall a very nice place to stay, with gravel sites and concrete pad for picnic bench. No cable TV and very little capable on antenna. Good Wi-Fi reception. Very clean restroom facility. Coin operated showers ($.25 cents for 4-5 minutes). A little out of the way but a very peaceful location.
We stayed here three nights while exploring the area. Paid $34/night for a full hook-up, pull through. A good sized site but could use a little more grass or gravel. Wi-Fi worked well. Cable TV is fairly new and has excellent reception. Restrooms and shower facility are in very good condition and very clean. I believe this is the best choice RV Park in this area.
I disagree with the previous review about this place being overpriced. The excellent maintenance and grounds keeping is as good as it gets for a city owned and operated RV Park and is well worth the price. The restroom facility is as nice and clean as you will find anywhere. All interior roads and sites are paved and sites are perfectly level. $30.00 cash or check for full hook-ups. The free Wi-Fi has a very good signal. Plenty of big shade trees and some open sites for satellite users.
Very basic, clean campground. Electric and water only. No sewer, cable TV or Wi-Fi. Payment with cash only. A little out of the way, but not much else available in this area. Plenty of big shade trees and a nice view of the rolling hills. Good place for overnight.
Full hookups at $29.00. No cable TV but good antenna pick-up. Wi-Fi service is "pay for." Nicely landscaped. Excellent restroom/showers/laundry facility. Most of the better sites are seasonal. The older section (available for over night) is a little tight but manageable. The Feed Store check-in, not very far from the campground is not a problem.
I have stayed here in the past, I am still pleased with overall maintenance and grounds keeping. I will usually come here during the week since it is much more peaceful than on the weekend. It is now "pay for" Wi-Fi service. Just a great place to relax.
Twenty new sites added during past year that are not on the lakeside. Otherwise, all remaining sites (62) are directly on the water with varying views of the lake and varying amounts of shade. Very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. All utilities including cable TV and internet work well. The entire facility is well groomed and clean throughout. This is one of our favorite parks and we will definitely return in the future.
Overall an excellent facility with paved roads and clean restrooms/showers. I paid for a premium site which was a little larger than most, although not much larger. The breakfast on site is very convenient. Plenty of areas to walk pets. Great location for getting to and from shows and restaurants.
A beautifully maintained and peaceful place. Sites are well spaced with a picnic bench and fire pit at each site. Electric only at most sites. Paved roads and pads. Very clean restrooms and showers. Great place to stay while touring the Amish area in Jamesport, MO. If you want peace and quiet in great surroundings, this is the place to stay.
This is one of the nicest city owned RV parks anywhere. It is about 10 miles off I-35 but well worth the ride to visit the vibrant little town of Winterset or see the bridges of Madison County. There is plenty of grass between the well spaced sites. Restrooms and showers are very clean and well maintained. Pet friendly with plenty of areas to walk a dog. I have stayed here in the past and will go out of the way to stay here again in the future.
I like this RV park. It has plenty of big trees throughout and is very quiet and peaceful at night. Although it is a little rough around the edges, there have been many improvements since last year. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Escort to site. Would be nice to have better ventilation in the restrooms. No cable TV but good reception via antenna. I will definitely stay here again in the future.
A very good overnight stop. Plenty of grass between sites. Good WiFi connection. No cable TV but had good reception with an antenna. Very pet friendly. Very easy check-in system including an escort to site. Have stayed here in the past and will stay here again in the future.
A good overnight stop with easy on/off I-70. Close to restaurants and fuel. A clean park with plenty of big trees. WiFi was being repaired during our visit. Sites are gravel and level. Good clean restrooms and showers. Pet friendly with plenty of walking space. A dirt/gravel road runs across the north side of the property creates plenty of dust.
This is a very nice older facility that is very well maintained. The husband and wife owners live on-site and are extremely friendly ad helpful. They offer a couple of homemade ethnic dinners delivered to your RV. We had Pierogi and stuffed cabbage leaves that were reasonably priced and excellent. Plenty of big trees here which would be much appreciated during the summer months. Very peaceful and quiet place well off I-70 to avoid noise. Very clean restrooms and showers. Cable TV and WiFi connections were good. Pet friendly with plenty of space to walk a dog.
This is an above average KOA. It is a great destination resort with plenty of things and activities for everyone. I stayed here overnight. Although it is about 5 miles off of the interstate it is well worth the drive. Peaceful, quiet views of the mountains. Clean restrooms and showers. Level concrete pads and plenty of grass between sites.
This place is OK for overnight only because there are not any other options for quite a distance. All gravel and sand does not hold up very well in heavy rains. Having said this, the place was full by the end of the day. Cable TV and WiFi connections were good.
Without a doubt the best place to stay while visiting Yellowstone National Park. The entrance to the Yellowstone is only 4 blocks away. The town of West Yellowstone has plenty of good restaurants, shopping and places to visit. The restrooms and showers were very clean and well maintained. WiFi was a separate contract with Tengo Internet and worked very well. Beautiful mountains views from anywhere in the park. Pet friendly with convenient trails in the National Forest.
What a beautiful park. Big beautiful trees, plenty of well manicured grass with level gravel sites. This is an older KOA but extremely well maintained. The restrooms and showers were very clean. WiFi and cable TV both worked very well. Pet friendly with plenty of room to walk and roam. Good for overnight or longer stay.
OK for an overnight stay. In an area that is light industrial, not a problem but not very scenic. Restrooms and showers were very clean. Basic cable TV and WiFi both very good connections. Plenty of room between sites. A little out of the way off I-25 but not much else in the area. Although noted as pet friendly, the area devoted for walking pets is a small fenced in gravel area that leaves much to be desired. Very well stocked store and gift shop.
Can't say enough about this park. It is perfect for overnight or visiting the area. Convenient on/off I-80 yet very little noise from the highway. Spotless restrooms and showers. WiFi and cable TV worked very well. Good amount of grass between well spaced sites. Pet friendly with plenty of exercise areas. Separate area for tents and pick-up campers. Trees will offer a lot of shade in a couple more years.
Very nice place for and overnight stay. Has very clean restrooms and showers. Good gravel roads and sites. I had a good WiFi connection. Plenty of grass between sites. Pet friendly with plenty of good walking areas. Would definitely stay here again.
An overall nice place to stay a night or two. Good Sam discount and two coupons for the buffet breakfast. Has very clean restrooms and showers. WiFi and cable TV both worked very well. Easy on/off access to I-20. Has good sized paved sites. Program started to replace older concrete pads with new. There is a free shuttle to casino/restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.
It is a nice place with plenty of trees. There are good WIFI and cable tv connections. The restrooms and showers were very clean and well maintained. It features a well stocked store. It is a good overnight stop.
I opted for a premium beachfront site for $65/night after Good Sam discount. One of the nicest RV parks I have stayed at. Super clean restrooms and showers (air conditioned). Great front office staff. Charge for internet, had an excellent connection. Also had a good cable TV connection. OK to wash your RV on site. It's pet friendly with good walk areas on both ends of property. I will definitely come back here in the future.
This place is OK for an overnight stop. It does have WiFi and it worked pretty well. No cable TV but several channels are available via antenna. The lake is in a distance and can only be seen from a few sites. The sites are gravel and grass is very sparse. The restrooms and showers are clean but aging and not air conditioned. Cash only for site payment. Overall maintenance is not the best.
This park is not to be confused with Western Hills Guest Ranch/Sequoyah Bay State Park that is also near Wagoner and on Lake Fort Gibson. We initially intended to stay here for two nights but the lake was 16 feet above normal and the lakeside sites were under water. There has been a lot of rain in this area recently; hopefully they will recover OK when the water recedes. The park has plenty of big beautiful trees and a lot of things to do and see. A very peaceful place to stay. Has very good TV reception via antenna. The restroom/showers were clean. I will definitely return in the future.
RV Ranch is in the process of changing their name to Rustic Creek Ranch. We paid $30.40 with a Good Sam discount. Tremendous rain and storms prohibited use of most of the facility, but it looked like a very nice place. It had good Wi-Fi and cable TV reception. The personnel at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The restroom/shower facilities were all private and very clean. Plenty of good areas to walk pets.
I would call this park above average for a KOA. We stayed here for two nights while visiting sites in San Antonio. The second night was free via a web site promotion. It is very convenient to use the public bus service that stops right in front of the RV park and takes you right into downtown near the river walk and two blocks from the Alamo. Wi-Fi and cable TV are very good. Restroom/showers were clean. There is quite a bit of sewer line construction going on in the front part of the park that is creating some dirt and noise. There's plenty of areas to walk pets and a well stocked store. Interior roads are a little rough and the sites could use a little more gravel.
This place is beautiful. It is by all means a top notch resort park. I choose a premium site on a pond closest to the beach at $55.00 per night. The only noise at night is that of the waves coming into shore on the beach. All roads and sites are concrete with plenty of meticulously manicured grass, bushes and trees. Plenty of thought went into the design and layout of this facility. This is an ownership park with plenty of rules, but well worth it. I don't normally like to pay this much for an RV site but this place is an exception and well worth the price. We spent 6 days here and are already planning to return for a longer stay in the future.
I paid $8.00 for one of the few pull-through sites using our "America the Beautiful" Senior pass. The sites were big and spread out. Each site had a covered picnic table and fire ring. Our site had a beautiful view of the lake and marina. Had good TV reception via antenna. The restroom/showers are aging but clean. A great place for walking pets. Overall a nice peaceful place top visit.
This is one of my favorite overnight RV Parks. Although it is a little noisy being so close to the Interstate it is not a problem for me. It is also very convenient being so close to the Interstate. I paid $28.80 with a Good Sam discount. The park is expanding so there was ongoing site construction on one side of the park. The sites are all good sized with plenty of grass in between sites. Most sites have concrete pads. The restroom/showers were extremely clean and maintained. Good Wi-Fi and cable connection. Plenty of room for walking pets.
This is a great place and I would say above average for a KOA. There is plenty of shade and good size sites. The owners are very friendly. We were escorted to our site. Although the roads and sites could use a bit more gravel, everything drained well after a heavy rain and thunderstorm while we were there. There is a nice pool, and good WIFI. It is pet friendly, with clean rest rooms and showers.
Overall a very nice place. Cash or check only, no credit cards. Very friendly owners escort you to your site. Nice size sites with plenty of grass throughout the park. Quiet, peaceful and pet friendly. Restrooms and showers were very clean. WI-FI reception was good and plenty of TV stations available with an antenna.
A very nice rv park that utilizes a self check-in system. Every gravel site has a picnic bench and a combo fire ring/grill. The restrooms and showers were very clean. The park is very pet friendly with plenty of well groomed grass throughout. A perfect place to use as a base to visit the Madison County bridges and the vibrant little town of Winterset.
This is an older facility with basicly dirt sites. I believe it would be pretty muddy with a lot of rain. It is in an industrial area and a good many of the sites are semi-permanent out-of-state workers; not really a problem just a note. The park was far enough from the interstate so noise was not an issue. WIFI connection was good from our site. The restrooms and showers were very clean. Overall an OK place for an overnight stay.
This is a good place for overnight stays. The sites are gravel and fairly level. Good WIFI reception and the cable TV had good channel selection and reception. The rest rooms and showers were clean. It is far enough from the interstate that road noise is not a problem.
Very large pull through sites. Desert type vegetation landscaping. No shade on any sites. Approximately 1 mile off the interstate which makes for very peaceful and quiet nights. Could not get a Wi-Fi connection from my site. There is no cable TV or TV signal via antenna. The clubhouse (which included the restrooms and showers) was locked up fairly early at night and was not yet opened the morning we left at 9:30 AM.
We spent 4 days here while visiting our daughter in San Diego. It is 15 to 20 minutes from Old Town, Balboa Park and the beaches. Well worth the drive. This is an excellent facility overall and is much more reasonably priced than parks in San Diego. The TV and WI-FI worked very well. The restrooms and showers were very clean. We stayed in the "Willow Loop" which was more shaded than the other areas of the campground. It uses a unique online reservation system that will show you a close-up satellite view of the sites available to help in selection. The sites are well spaced and most have a covered picnic bench. I will definitely stay here again.
A very nice place that has all the amenities of a fine resort. It is a 55+ gated park. TV and WI-FI worked good. The restrooms and showers were extremely clean. Had a good size computer room with several computers. Beautiful landscaping that is still fairly young so there is not a whole lot of shade. Very convenient to the interstate access. Pet friendly. I really can not think of any thing wrong at this facility.
This is without a doubt the nicest place we have been to as of yet. It is a beautifully landscaped and clean resort. The restrooms and showers were perfectly clean. The unique pet walk area even had lights with motion sensors for night time walks. TV and WIFI worked real well. Price included a full hotel style continental breakfast. It is very easy access to the interstate and is great for overnight or longer term. We will definitely come back here in the future.
The best thing about this Park is the view of the lake and the surrounding mountains (yes mountains in Oklahoma). It is approximately 5 to 6 miles off the Interstate and works OK for overnight. The sites were average size. I would guess that at least 2/3 of the Park are seasonal residents with well maintained RV's and property. There is no TV or WIFI, and there is also no showers or restrooms.
Perfect place for overnight stop. Very convenient access to Interstate 20. Older facility but clean. Sites are on the smaller side but again, OK for overnight. Restrooms and showers were clean. WIFI and cable TV worked very well. Good area for walking dogs.
This is a very nice, well maintained RV park. A lot of the sites are terraced on the gently sloping hills. All sites have concrete pads and plenty of shade. The WIFI is very strong and although there is no cable TV, there are plenty of strong local stations to pick up with an antenna. The restrooms and showers were extremely clean. This is the second time I have been here and I will stay here again in the future.
Very nice campground on Table Rock Lake. I choose an area with electric and water that overlooks the marina and requires a gate card to get into. It had very large level sites and was within walking distance of a floating cafe in the marina and a swimming beach. There is an abundance of shaded sites throughout the park. It is very peaceful and quiet here. It is within 10 miles of Branson but outside of all the congestion and traffic. I will come back here in the future.
All sites are waterfront on a peninsula on Grand Lake. The park is extremely clean and well maintained. Approximately half of the sites are occupied by seasonal campers; understandably so. The park is pet friendly with a lot of shaded area down the center of the peninsula for walking. Not a lot a things for kids but a very peaceful place. This is one of the nicest places I have been to so far. I will definitely return here in the future.
