The first three nights at the fairgrounds we dry camped, and then we moved into the campground loop with hookups. I like this campground I wish they would give you a little bit of a break when you're just having to dry camp due to the campground being full but they don't. Most sites are electric and water only. There is one site up front by the campground host that is water electric and sewer. We were here for the car show and that particular weekend the fairgrounds gets quite full with motor homes, car trailers, etc. Very nice campground and I would stay here again

We stopped at this park due to a maintenance issue on our RV. The managers were very nice and helpful since the park was 50% full they advised us to pick our spot due to the fact we were pulling an enclosed car trailer. The roads going to and from the site were tight but the park appeared very clean. We were here two days until we figured out a game plan to proceed with our trip but if I was in the area I would not have a problem staying here again.

Last time I reviewed this park I said it was ten dollars overpriced, but now I think its only five dollars overpriced. There is a price for convenience and I guess five dollars is not bad. We stayed out in the gravel lot on a end site which is very level but also you hear every car that creeps by on the gravel; I looked out about two in the morning and saw a sheriff creeping through the campground which is good, but if you're not on the end its a little bit quieter. We like this park and will continue to use this park when in the area.

We have not returned to this campground since 2011 and at that time they were proposing to take out the trees. Well they did, and believe it or not the campground looks pretty good. Now when I say trees, not all of the trees just a certain type of pine that had issues with falling. The restrooms are another story. They get cleaned once a week and by the fifth day they are getting pretty bad. Overall the campground looks good and the dump station is very nice and will take four 35 foot motorhomes at one time, this is a big improvement from two years ago. The price we paid reflects dry camping.

The previous post pretty much hit this park right on the head. For years I'd driven by this Park with the golf course up on the hills and thought that would be a neat place to camp. First of all they were way over priced by about $10 on the basic Campsite. Second the campground was in dire need of some upkeep. And third I would not want to maneuver in this park when it is full or half full the roads are way too tight for the size of rigs that come in and out. One of the good things they had was a expanded cable network which was included in the base camp site price. I would probably not stay here again specially during peak season.

I'm pretty frugal on giving out 10s, but this time we had a phenomenal spot looked out on the ocean. A million-dollar view. It only had 30 amp and had no sewer.but with that view who cares? We were within walking distance of the graywater dump and we took the dishwater over and dumped it and that worked out great. I always wanted to get one of these spots but they were always taken or booked. This time we just walked right into it and what a view. Harris Beach is one of my favorite campground state parks.

Another great Oregon State Park. This time we picked a spot right up by the entrance and I don't know if this was the low point of the park, but the ground was very, very soggy and mushy, and they hadn't had any rain so it wasn't because of rainfall it was just very mushy, this made for walking around the campsite very muddy and nasty. You are in a dead zone as far as cell service and TV reception. Our stay was very nice, but it wasn't as nice as we had in the past because of the spot we were in.

This is one of my favorite state parks in Oregon. All the electrical has been upgraded with 50 amp available. One thing you might remember when staying at this park you have no cell service and no TV reception unless you have a satellite. This park is fairly close to Florence, and convenient to Newport and Lincoln city, a short walk and your to the ocean it is a nice secluded park with all the amenities of a real camp out experience.

I like this park, The sites are all back end with a few pull thrus but very easy accessible and the hook ups are very convenient and also the cable television in a county park was a real nice add. The one part that I guess I dislike most about this park is they let the grass get way too high. In other words, mow it more often at least once every 2 to 3 weeks. This time of year very few people in the park unless of course there is a football game at the University. We would definitely stay here again very nice.

Out of convenience we had to use this park as all the other parks were booked. When I pull into these old mobile home/trailer parks I never know what I'm going to find or not find but this park does have about 12 sites that are strictly used for overnighters. The other sites that they say are for overnighters I wouldn't want to use them. What happens in these parks is they get a lot of permanent people that are in here for three or four months at a time and with that comes a lot of junk accumulation which when you pull in for a overnight stay you have to look at this and it's very undesirable. The manager here and the people are very nice. It's just not what I call a RV friendly park as far as the aesthetics of it go. Even though it is convenient to the college and the football game that we attended I would not stay here again.

Fall or winter rates are in effect this time of year. This campground is very easy to get into this time of year and our preference for camping is on the upper part of this campground. One reason we started staying here was it was far enough away from the train and you did not have too much freeway noise and it's close enough to Portland that if you want to drive in for the day it is very convenient. The campground has full hookups and for the fall or winter rate it is excellent. We definitely would stay here again.

This was a weekly rate including tax which should be about the normal rate during peak summer. We use this park because it is convenient for our needs. We have relatives in the area so usually we stay here a week at a time - sometimes we've stayed a month. I think this park is overpriced for its daily rate, but I see a lot of people coming through and staying for one night and leaving the next morning, If this was my situation I would stay at the casino or a Walmart, but each to his own. I was a little disappointed with the new Wi-Fi system they have throughout the park very slow at best. But we will stay here again it is convenient.

This was the rate with tax included, The park was virtually empty this time year. There is really nothing to complain about at this park it is about as close to perfect as you can get. We usually visit here at either the beginning of the season or the end of the season so rarely do we see the park even close to full capacity. If you like to golf this park is for you. We always include this park in our trips because it is a nice place to visit. We will be back.

The rate included all taxes with a Good Sam discount. First of all this is not my first choice for camping in the area but since the others were booked we ended up here. The site we were given had electrical problems and after three days of surge protector kicking power off they finally ackowledged they had a problem and quit blaming it on the coaches on both sides of us and had a electrician there to fix it the day we were leaving. I can say this; they did give us three days free out of seven for our discomfort. I have a problem with RV Parks that nickel and dime you for cable TV and a pet when they already are charging you what appears to be too much in the first place. This park does have some nice amenities as previously mentioned but not enough for us to come back with the issues we had to deal with.

Very clean campground. The only problem I had was they were landscaping the park and the landscaping company started at 6 am in the morning. I thought this was a little bit inconvenience for the people camping there - I did not complain I just went with the flow. They also were watering the new turf and the sprinklers were not set just right so several motorhomes got soaked during the night. The campground was very quiet. The casino food was reasonably priced and pretty good. I would stay here again if need be.

Very tight park getting in and out. You can tell this park was built before slide outs were even thought of. The park was very tidy and trees provided some shade. You have a patch of grass which they water at one in the morning and the sprinklers are set to not get water on your coach which i give credit to the Maint. Dept. I think there price is a little high for Casino camping but overall it will do.

This park was convenient to our needs and the price included tax and a Good Sam discount. The park overall is clean and tidy but very hot. No shade other than the motor home beside you. You do get to use the pool at casino and there is a Super Walmart for grocery needs nearby. But I believe their price is about ten dollars to high for casino camping.

This is a old National Forest Campground that is run by concessionaires (Dodge Ridge Corp.). This is a strictly dry camping campground with a few water spigots spread out for your convenience; no dump station. This is a pretty campground above 5,000 feet elevation with a nice stream that borders the campground. These campgrounds sometimes attracts your inconsiderates who come up on the weekend to drink/party, etc. , which is quickly controlled by a good campground host, which this campground has. Generators are allowed three hours a day, which is good. Big rig space is very limited but possible if you know your limits. We would camp here again.

I am thoroughly disgusted with this park. This is the second time we have used it out of convenience and hopefully it is my last. Not only are they way overpriced, but the grounds look pathetic, the grass has not been trimmed in weeks, and the dandy lions are growing abundantly. When It was owned by the casino and it was reasonably priced and there were lifeguards on duty and the place looked really nice. Now everyone that works there stays there free and basically nothing gets done as far as upkeep. There is no cable, no Wi-Fi, and the asphalt is completely broken apart. This is a big reason why I do not patronize KOA campgrounds. If it were not for the various other rental motor home companies this place would be closed up. I hope we don't have to come back

Second time staying at this park. The owner gives us the same rate every time. This park is about 60% snowbirds, 20% passing thru campers, 20% permanents. It is a resort in the fact it has a pool, gym, and clubhouse with planned activities. Since we are the ones that are just passing through, there are some things we don't get to take advantage of. This park also has a great dog park. Also the first road to the left as you enter the park seems to be where most of the permanents are. This particular street seems to look a little junky, but the rest of the park looks very good. We would stay here again.

I can completely understand some previous ratings due to the time of year and the type of usage this campground gets.Certain times of the year it is a horse camp and with horses you get flies. And there is certain times of the year I would not come here and with that being said March is a good time to come, too cold for flies and virtually no one in Camp. But beware when the wind gust blows the sand and dirt flies everywhere. This camp is fine dirt and sand with gravel but the grounds were very clean. This is our second time here in four years and we would return outside of the peak camping season and definitely not when they are using it for a horse camp or rodeo grounds.

We stayed two nights on Passport America and two nights on Good Sam to get this rate. First of all I hate the way they have their 50 amp sights set up, you face each other and are back to back for hookups. The 30 amp sites are the traditional pull thrus . The park itself is very interesting, 50s and 60s decor (the old route 66 theme). The owners are very nice and the park is very clean, could be dusty if windy. The Wi-Fi was non-existent while we were there. We would stay here again but in the 30 amp sites.

This is the second time we have stayed here. The first time was four years ago and I feel there has been some subtle improvements. The grounds seem to be cleaner, the office seems to be updated, the pool and spa seemed cleaner. We enjoyed our stay. This park has easy access to I-40 heading west so you can leave early without getting into commute traffic or going to work traffic (nice). We would stay here again.

The last two reviews pretty much says it all, but i do have a couple of comments to add. First of all the full hook up sites are two close so we picked a electric only site which saved us another two dollars. I would not want to stay in this park during the peak season or maybe on weekends. Either could be dusty if no rain. The lake was pretty, and where we parked, we had a great view of the lake but I feel the grounds needed a good clean up. The campground manager was nice, and in all fairness, we would stay here again. The stay here is 14 days at a time but I feel there is a blind eye for longer stays during off season because some of these people looked like they had been there for months.

Very nice park with wide open spaces. I am kind of puzzled on how they work their pull throughs when they get busy. I'm thinking there isn't any due to the fact all pull throughs are really back to back spaces. The park is very clean and looks brand new. They always have some kind of promotion going on which now we got one day free with new players card and ten dollars free play per person per day (not bad) if that's all you spent. We would stay here again.

We stayed here two nights on a Passport America rate. This campground is older, but in good condition and it looks like the owner is making ongoing improvements. It could be dusty if windy. I was noticing the grounds which is raked clean, but couldn't help but notice the bumper crop of puncture vines(stickers, goatheads,etc..)in the grassy area. Look out come August and September for your pets,Ouch. We would stay here again at this rate.

I don't give very many ten's, but this park deserves it and the grounds crew keeps this park very clean and tidy. We were here when the park was virtually empty, but I think with the sites so spread out even with a full campground it would not impact my review. We camped in the middle loop campground and we would stay here again.

Very nice park, we stayed three days on Passport America and one on Good Sam to get this rate. This park was convenient for our needs. I feel the park could have used a good grounds crew to do a walk through just to pick up small trash that has accumulated in areas. I also think longer term campers are allowed to put too much junk around their sites. They do have some strict rules here, which is good. If in the area I would stay here again. With just a few minor issues this park is a 10.

We stayed here five nights on a Passport America rate. This park is an old trailer park with some RV sites sprinkled around the park. The park is in need of some clean up, and some landscaping work for appearance. The office staff was very nice and the people in the park were very nice.We would probably opt to find another park next time probably on South Padre Island if in the area.

Very nice park on Padre Island. We camped here for four days and had a great view of the Gulf. But beware if the wind comes up and your windows are open you will get allot of sand inside your RV. Once you are at the Park, you are about 18 miles from any stores or fuel supplies so plan accordingly. Your vehicles receive allot of sand and salt from the ocean so plan to wash off once you leave the Park area. There are several car washes on the way back to Corpus Christi. We would camp here again. Price is eight dollars a night for camping with a ten dollar entrance fee to the National Park.

Let me start by saying this is a very clean and nice park. We stay here every time we are in the area. This park is continually making improvements, which is great. I hope they can keep their rates at a affordable camping rate, which with the PA discount, it offsets the regular Good Sam rate. The only thing I can argue is they might have over regulated some of there rules, but there probably is a reason for it. So again: an excellent campground.

This is an old park but very clean. We stopped here because of the very nice city golf course. The park itself sits right along the freeway at about the same elevation, and along with the trains the noise is just about unbearable, but for two nights we made it. Next time we will pass on this one. The 30 amp sites are very tight, but the manager or owner is very nice, so there you have it.

Very nice park; rate reflects a weekly rate plus taxes and electricity. Very friendly park with monthly winter snowbirds as its primary residents. I wish this park had a designated dog run or walk; everyone takes their dog to the front street outside of the park along the wall in the sand, and they do pick up. It just seems odd for a park this size, but I noticed the parks around there do the same thing because I think the same owner owns all of them. This park has one of the best rates in the Yuma area. We will be back.

When I review this park I consider all the parks in the area and what I get for my money. This is the cheapest, most secure, best deal for your money in Las Vegas. Yes there is some traffic noise, but almost non existent in your RV. Convenient to downtown.Their laundry is very clean. The one thing that I guess you could say really bothers me is their combined sewer dump; both hoses attach through the same opening. Other than that, great park.

Convenience strictly. Convenience is why we use this park. This park is way overpriced, we had a pull through for the Goodguys car show, and sometimes you have to pay the price for the convenience. We had 30 amp as 50 amp was five dollars more. I can't really see any amenities except convenience. I don't know if there are any restrooms at this campground. There is a nice RV store on site. Like previous posts said: there is no break for longer term stays. We will use this campground again, but only because of convenience.

This park is differently making improvements every time we visit from all new painted exteriors to new welcoming and clean entrance. First of all you are in the middle of the desert with severe winters and hot summers so some things are going to be used to adhere to the climates (rock or gravel in lieu of grass, asphalt in lieu of cement). A lot of the permanents have been cleaned up for visual. You need this type of renters for off season and the amount of work in the area (gold mining etc.) brings permanents in for monthly or weekly rent, you just can't let it look like the depression which i don't think it does. Laundry area very nice. Store, RV parts in store very nice. Pool area very clean (also Handicapped access). We enjoyed our visit and will continue to come back.

Very nice campground. We had a back in with fall rates to get this rate. This park is very quiet but depending on what goes in on the east side of the park could change that. We did not use any of the amenities but pool, sauna, weight room all looked very nice. Something I did notice was a slight smell of sewer gas in certain areas. I did not see any vents or any reason for this and it was in different areas of park. Otherwise everything was near perfect.

This is a hot springs and the RV Park is there to accommodate the hot springs. They accept the PA discount for one night which is all we stayed. The Park itself is all gravel which is dusty and there is no sewer hookups for one night stays. It doesn't matter, even there is room available, you cannot buy sewer hookups for one night period. Overall we enjoyed the Park and it's quietness and I would stay here again. You can't stay anywhere for nine dollars - a very good deal.

The rate includes Reserve America fees of about three dollars a night. We like this Park and decided to make reservations so we could have full hookups with sewer for only two dollars more per day. There is no more rangers available so any issues are handled thru the campground host or an occasional Sheriff that cruises through the park, by the way there were no problems. The park fills up on the weekends but thins out on late Sunday. Bathrooms were dated but seem to be clean. This is a nice time of year to come, no bugs or critters flying or crawling around, we will come back but only after Labor Day.

This is a weekly rate. This park is convenient to our needs, cousins, friends etc.. But the rate is still to high for weekly should be around 25 dollars. This park is starting to show its age. If they are going to charge top dollar it needs some TLC. Pool still looks good but we did not use it. No Wi-Fi outside of the clubhouse. We will still continue to use this park on a weekly bases or even a monthly but daily - forget it. Traffic noise was tolerable.

Very nice park with Golf Course running along side park. Very nice pool we did not use. Very nice recreation room. This has always been my favorite park but i feel the prices are getting a little pricey especially when you are hear for an extended stay. For instance daily rates are about right, weekly rates are about 10 percent high and if you stay two weeks you should get a even better rate and monthly rates are about 10 percent high. Rumor has it that this year was their best year and that next year they are raising there rates,"Don't do it". Hope someone is listening.

Just happened to ask if they took any discount cards they said Passport America, I said "GREAT'. What a bargain and neat place to camp by a golf course. Sites can be a pull through if no one is behind you. Sites are level gravel, and you are somewhat close to your neighbor, but this time of year the park was only half full, so it was great. Could never get free Wi-Fi to work, so had to resort to iphone. Park might be a little dusty if windy. Golf course is the best I've played since the one in Parker, Arizona, and the best value. Park is somewhat close to town and grocery stores. We would stay here again.

This park is a Passport America park. In a effort to see the area and be in a place more then a day we try to find a park for a good value in lieu of boondocking in a Wallmart parking lot as you might do for one night. The Pros and Cons. Pros, nice equipped RV store on sight. Very nice hosts and office staff. Overnight sites are level and pull-throughs on gravel, but could be dusty if windy. Cons, entrance looks kind of junky, but not sure if all of it is the RV Parks junk. Road to overnight stay is very rough and you pass through permanants with a lot of junk and what could be classified as undesirable people(1st impression). Noise level from pulp plant running 24/7 is a constant hum which is better than a sporadic dog barking (This could be considered a Pro since there was no dog, but the plant hum does get annoying). Also a train runs parallel to park with an occasional toot, and last but not least the water treatment plant right behind the park which will be open for your enjoyment fall of 2012. This is not a kid friendly park DO NOT LET YOUR KIDS RUN FREELY HERE. Overall view, my wife questions my frugal decisions on camping sometimes, but i always put safety first and there has been some parks I have exited as fast as I have entered. With all the above mentioned I still felt safe where we were camped. We would not stay here again.

Beautiful State Park but as in a lot of parks getting a bit pricey for dry camping like we did. I think it should be about 18 dollars a night. This park is close to Winthrop which is neat to look at and browse through the shops and museums. It also has a neat nine hole golf course not too far away that is very challenging. As far as fishing a lot of people are going but have not fished here myself. The hook up part of the campground is 36 a night . We would camp here again.

Construction is done and campground is quiet. For a Casino Campground the price is about right. You have cable, free internet, 50 amp and pull throughs. While i have stayed at casinos either boon docking or in there campground from west coast to east coast this probably is one of the best. The campground has good and bad points but overall i give it a eight. The food and service at the Casino restaurant was very good and you have to check in at the Players Club counter, very friendly. My only complaint is if you stay for a week you could have to move a couple of times due to the fact people reserve spots by number for instance if we wanted to stay another day we would have to move because someone reserved our spot even though the campground is only half full but we would stay here again.

Very nice park all sites have plenty of room. The campground has two parts an upper part and a lower part down by the lake. We stayed in the upper part which does not have the dense trees and shaded as much as the lower part. The stay was nice, generator time is specified 9-11 and 5-8 in the evening which is adequate. Gates are locked at night so don't get caught out after 10:00 P:M or you will be walking in. We would stay here again.

Beautiful campground for dry camping. This campground does not have showers, water or a dump station, but if you have those things then it does not matter. It did have internet for a one time fee of five dollars but we did not use it. We would stay here again.

Nice campground and great host. I happened to mention to the host that it appeared some people looked like they were here more permanent than maybe just passing through. He replied: funny you mentioned that. There are some we are working with to move them along due to the fact we have a 15 day stay limit, and they have extended their stay. Even though this was the case, it presented no problems to our stay. We had a inner site which buffered the outside noise. We would stay here again.

Clean Campground but more a local fishing spot. High input of traffic coming in and out of campground during Salmon run not really advisable for anything longer than 36 feet but you can do it if need be. No water or dump. This Campground is more for tents and smaller RV's but you can camp here with a 40 ft. but limited space in other words if you don't come in on a Monday or Tuesday you could have trouble. Campground Host was very friendly and helpful one of the reasons we got parked with a big rig like we did. Pit toilets and tanked in water which i will not put in my water tank. This is a high used local park and they drive like Heck through the campground and out of it as far as that goes. Even through this was a pretty park i would probably opt not to stay here next time and use the Matanuska River Park in the Mat-Su Borough located 1 mile from Palmer @milepost J17.4 Old Glenn Highway.

I could see where this campground could be noisy especially when someone uses a construction generator. Fortunately we had a great experience: very quiet and people seem to run their generators only when they needed to. All campgrounds run by the city have an exceptional view of the water. We stayed at Marathon and I did notice some sites were parallel to the water which might be quieter than side by side if need be. This would definitely be my first pick over any private campgrounds in the area.

Nice campground, but I saw things I couldn't believe. For instance people running power cords from tenting areas to electrical hookups. Looked more like locals make up their own rules rather than the rules set up in the campground. Hosts were very helpful. I'd probably stay here again but would more than likely, skip the Valdez area completely.

Nice pull off the road milepost 1309. This campground is primitive in the sense that come with full water and empty holding tanks but the campground has plenty of room for turnarounds. I need to resurrect this park from it's past. We stayed here four days and had the time of our lives. First of all we stayed at the Passport America rate of 19. One of my biggest concerns was the water and I brought this to the check in lady. (Attention per previous post.) She assured me the wells had been chalked and all pipes blown out prior to usage. (I still use two per-filters and the one under the sink for coffee and ice.) The park is somewhat dated but was clean, and all lawns mowed; a little bit dusty on arrival, but dirt roads are the norm for this area. About a half hour drive to the Mall from this park. We would stay here again if in the area and the PA discount was available. The Golf course was great, no complaints.

This campground is dry camp only so come prepared. The Pros are that it's a beautiful campground and not to far from Banff. If you like trains, one runs close enough to the campground you feel like your part of it. There are lots of great trails, wildlife and creek. Cons: It's too much money for dry camping. If you want a fire they supply the wood and you pay $8.40 per night, and the daily pass for this park is $19.60 on top of everything else. So if you want to stay one night with a fire it's $56.40 per night to dry camp Next time, if there is one, we probably will bypass staying in the Park and opt for a daily drive.

We boon dock pretty much through the week but every once in a while we pull into a full service RV parking when traveling the Alaska Highway. The pull throughs are tight but once you are in there is no problem. All the power, cable, and internet worked great. We would stay here again.

Small campground, big rig friendly and Big Mosquito friendly. We got ate up in fact they were so aggressive they were getting in through a small hole in a compartment and we finally got tired of fighting them pulled in the slides and left at 4 in the morning, but thats not the park's fault. I would stay here again, just stay away from the trees as much as possible.

We were in the dry camping part which is what I wanted, but here are the pros and cons. Pros: very beautiful, close to town, lots of great walking, very friendly staff workers. Cons: overpriced for dry camping, should be about 20 dollars max, one shower room for the whole park with maybe six showers in the room (ridiculous). Overall view, This National Park along with others caters a lot to the Cruise America and Canadream RV rentals to people from Germany, Australia and England where the Euro and Pound are so strong to the Canadian and American dollar, they could care less what they pay, so I think this has a lot to do with the camping prices in this park and other National Parks close by.

This might just be the best deal in both national parks. Asphalt parking lot but with a view, and what a view it is. You're looking straight up into the glacier. The lot itself is somewhat unlevel but they have a self pay kiosk that you have to put in 15.70 exact change or you can use your credit card. I'm not sure anybody actually checks the lot with the pay stubs, so it is a honor system. For one night we enjoyed it

Price reflects a weekly rate. This is one of our favorite campgrounds and i can say prices have gone up since our last visit two years ago i believe at that time they excepted Passport America. I can say this the RV park, Golf Course and housing community went through a financial crises this last year and I'm just glad this RV park is still here to enjoy.

Got a stay and play rate (20 dollars) when you play golf, by the way its a very tough course. The Campground is clean, sites are surprisingly off level but for a one or two night stay it works. You are in a rural setting so its not uncommon to have a Mocking Bird chirping in a bush by your window all night. No cable but fairly good TV antenna reception. Casino food is OK, remember Tuesday and Thursday is Senior days two for one Buffet and 50+ is considered a senior.

We came into this park last year and new owners had just taken over and you could tell they were going to make some changes and they did for the good. This year you could see the results of there hard work, very nice. Now most people that come here are here for a day at PA rates or are staying here more long term or maybe semi permanent in that case their are things that do need some attention (we stayed here eight days)for instance the pool was dirty and people were swimming in it. The laundry room needed some upgrading, again the owners are great people and i think this will happen in time. I think the weekly rate is to high for this park 24.00 a night would have been about right for a weekly rate, but then again they add a hotel tax to price and a electricity surcharge it all adds up. Seven is the best i can do this time, we will probably come back.

I give this park a 8 because its quiet, secure and they give you back ten dollars per person for casino play. I took two points off for no internet and no cable. For one night if weather permitting I would stay in parking lot but for longer stays definitely in the park. The surrounding area ia very well landscaped it would be interesting to fast forward ten years and see what time and wear has done to this park: hopefully it looks the same. I will stay here again.

This is a nice park that still accepts the PA discount. Very convienient to highway Alt.50. Its too bad this park does not have paved interior roads; it sure would help the dust control. We would stay here again at this price.

Actual cost 18.50, but well worth it, a spot between Vegas and Reno with full hook ups. The cafe seems to be good we had breakfast and it was very good. Road noise non-existent but then it was a Tuesday night might be different on weekends. Get there early it fills up, seen many people turned away. We would stay there again.

Typical over priced KOA. The pros and cons. Pros, very convenient to the strip. If you have kids they will love it and you are basically connected to the Circus Circus Casino with lots of kid activities. Internet included. Very clean and quiet. Cons, OVER PRICED by at least thirty dollars. Very hot on asphalt with no foliage or very many trees. No cable. We stayed out in the back which made it easy for coming and going via Dean Martin Drive and the main reason we stayed here was convenience to and from The Orleans for which we had a car show and this made it convenient and sometimes you have to pay for that. Other than the price I would camp here again and might have to.

This park is about ten dollars over priced but sometimes you have to pay for convenience. The park is located on the fair grounds and backs up to the Horse Track. It is a clean and tidy park so no complaints there. There is two sides to the park a paved side and a gravel side for longer rigs with trailers. The gravel side is very level and is the side where we stayed while the paved side is probably better in adverse weather but very sloped for rain run off which means most motorhomes have there front wheels off the ground. Again convenience out weighs the costs so we would stay here again if need be.

There is some things I don't particularly care for in this park but since we got to stay four days for the price of two based on a coupon we received in Quartzite I can't complain. With that being said I will list a couple of things that might irk me if I was paying full price. We had a back in spot; most back in spots are very unlevel. All spots are in dirt fine gravel; can't imagine what it would be like when it rains and it does rain here. Wi-Fi very slow at best, unless very early or very late. Would I stay here again? You bet in a heart beat, for this price. The owner or manager wanted to extend our visit for four more days same price but we couldn't so he said price is the same whenever you come back. Now that's wanting your business.

At first glance this park has the appeal of being dumpy and maybe even at a second glance it still looks dumpy but once settled in its not bad especially for a county park. I'm not crazy about staying long term without a permanent sewer hookup, but for short term it's OK. Another thing is the dump station is a disaster not very tidy from a hook up point to the road pavement leading up to it, just needs a little upkeep. As far as the park we will go back for short term meaning one week or less.

This is open Desert and can be used for short term or long term camping. A pass which can be purchased from the entrance area for 14 days $40.00 or six months for $140.00. The pass is also good for the Quartzsite area BLM area camping also. As you enter the camping area: there is water available and a six station dump area which is all concrete and paved leading to it (very nice). Camping is where ever you can find a spot you like. One of the drawbacks is you are about 23 miles from Yuma. So if you are planning on making daily trips to town or going to Mexico, this might be a little inconvenient.
01/2012

This is the first year we have stayed here and actually liked it far better than the free BLM we stayed at in the past on the north end of town. One of my biggest gripes is dust, but remember where your at and with saying that if people will slow down, dust can be reduced by 50 percent. One of the things you can do is park in a rock query and the dust can almost be non existent and stay off the main road quiet a ways. We like it here and stay our 14 days for 40 dollars.

This campground sits on the bay and does have some beautiful settings. It's too bad that California outpriced and outspent itself so it's State Parks had to suffer. Because now you go to a County park which have jacked their prices right under the State Parks, yet virtually give you nothing except a fire pit and maybe a random water spigot. We camp as little as possible in this state, probably because we remember what it was like when it was reasonable to camp here. (To bad). I can't believe they took the one affordable outing and messed it up. We stayed here one night.

This park, out of all the coast parks would be my number one park to host at. It probably stays the driest here of all the coast parks and has some of the best views for camping on the coast. A lot of people claim this is the banana belt of the Oregon Coast (possibly). We had to use the laundry mat: was very reasonable and it was clean. One of my favorite parks.

Another favorite park of mine to go to. We always get one of the first three spots on the right as you come in because there you can get cell service and HD TV. The Fall is some of the best time to be on the Oregon coast campgrounds, great weather and also a slight discount in camp fees. This park is one of our favorites. Well actually, all the Oregon coast campgrounds are our favorites. We usually start down the coast around October 1st and end up in Brookings around the end of the month. I like this park because you have great access to the beach with the Jeep and some good clamming. Full Hookups and a great price.

Probably would not camp here again. Park was somewhat empty and in need of some TLC. It does have potential but just didn't have a good management team. We encountered some domestic violence among the working staff, and then the person took to a car and missed my motorhome by inches which resulted in myself and several campers getting involved to make sure nobody got hurt and having to get the Sheriff out there at midnight to resolve the dispute and make a couple of arrests. Not Good. There is so much more to this story I could tell, and it is too bad it has to impact the campground because the setting is in such a beautiful place.

This is a County Park where camping is allowed. The cost is unknown, we paid nothing but were told we could camp there and it was allowed especially in the summer months. We were the only ones there and did see numerous locals come in and out to walk there dogs. There is only one way in and the same way out and in summer months it could get noisy and probably dusty. I would not hesitate to camp here again outside of the summer season. This area is attached to Baseball Diamonds, Tennis Courts,Duck Ponds and could get busy, but the time of year we were there, nobody.

Don't have to worry about me coming to this park again. First off it is DUSTY, and again nobody slows down going through campgrounds, and the dust boils. The only thing I can say is we came in on a Sunday and by Sunday night everyone was gone, and I mean everyone, not even a host so then the dust finally settled. If I knew it was on this type of entrance I probably would have opted for the another park. But I must say if you are set up for water sports then this seems like the place to go.

This is a just upgraded part of the Buffalo Bill Dam Campground. I don't think the power and water was here in the past. We had a lake view spot ,and the only thing I could find to complain about was the nats or flies. It was unseasonably warm, and the bugs were out. Very close to Cody, and very nice compared to the private parks we stayed at in the past.

Very nice National Park close to Estes Park, in fact this is where we had to stay to visit Estes Park. The campground sites are very spread out and water faucets are available through out the camp but you need a water cheater to hook up. No dump so come empty. I'm thoroughly disgusted with this park and vow to never cross the entrance of it again. It's not the jets that continually fly over your head landing and taking off from Reno International Airport. It's not the fact that you have no picnic tables. It's not the fact that you have grumpy park managers (very nice) in fact better than average. It's the fact that when Reno has special events, Hot August Nights, Rib Cook Off, etc.. This park sets its rate at Fort Wilderness rates and it doesn't have a Disneyland to go to. The park was half full at this rate and people were boondocking in casino parking lots down the street (good for them). Another thing if you're a Good Sam park I would think they would give you a Good Sam discount irregardless of the rate, didn't happen. They just lost an eight year loyal customer and believe me there are other options.

Every time I check into this place I'm amazed at the work and upkeep that has taken place since the last time I was here. If you have kids (which I don't) you would be amazed at the things there are to do: water wars, putt-putt, shuffle board. Yes, it costs $5.00 a hour for usage per person, but try KOA and see what they charge. As far as the park they still accept several discount cards and the price is right. We keep coming back.

This is more of a long term park than a short stay park. I know a lot of the amenities are not available. No discount cards even though they are advertised in CCUSA. No cable TV. I like this campground and none of the things I say will deter me from coming back, but I wish people meaning people in general would slow down when driving through an area like this. For instance we had site 1 which was right at the stop sign; the speed limit says 15, that doesn't mean go through the stop sign at 15 then gas it to whatever, this was very annoying. The park is not my first pick for the area but due to the State Park fee hikes forty dollars is very reasonable now. I don't know if I could call this park a family friendly park unless there was strict adult supervision.

We stayed one night and then had to evacuate. While trees provide shelter they also can be deadly when they decide to fall and evidently this is a ongoing problem so we were told to go to Seacliff and since rain was predicted for the week we stayed in the lot above the campground for the next three days for free so back to NB. i don't know whats going to happen to the trees, this is a beautiful campground and they say by fall all the trees will be gone, can't imagine this park without trees but also can't imagine a tree laying across my motorhome especially with me in it. So time will tell.

I like this park, first seven days you can use Passport America with no restrictions. No internet unless you pay, but a neighbor came over and introduced himself and said we could hook into his system. Premium site rate with sewer hook-ups. I like this park although not crazy about the site i booked over the internet, had this park been busy i would have been miserable. We had a pull through site on the outer loop which was right in front of the dump station, had it been busy, motorhomes would have came within four feet of my front door, but oh well keep it in my memory library for next time. Very nice park to visit New Orleans. This park is comparable to St. Bernard Parish State Park but maybe a little more kid friendly as far as things to do. But like all swamp areas when it warms up the bugs come out. Everything in the park is clean but due to the river work shoring the levee up noise in the daytime is loud from construction, but this is only temporary. I would come back.

The rate reflects a weekly rate with tax. This is an example on how to be a excellent park for a decent rate and make money. I used PA discount to get my nightly rate. Would not have stayed here had I had to pay full price, so they get Kudos for that. This park has allot to offer for families with kids. That is their big draw. When I had kids, these are the parks we stayed in. Now that I drive a high end coach, I try to stay overnight on a budget and that's why PA and CCUSA discounts are a important part of our travels. So when giving a review I try to look at both sides. One thing I did notice is that when staying on the lot to the right as you drive in the main entrance it is very dusty and most of it could be curtailed if people would just slow down. Would I stay here again? With discounts, yes. Without, no way.

You come here for one reason, to see NYC, so before you put yourself through the tolls, possibly getting lost a couple of times make sure that's what you're coming for. We liked this parking lot; it's close to the subway (short walk) and you feel safe!? Look, had we not had a recession this place would be high rise condos or apartments so enjoy for a mere 60 dollars a night. There is a couple of things they don't tell you; if you stay 6 nights you get the seventh free and if you are a FMCA member you get 10% off so all that taken in account it comes to about 52 dollars a night. As soon as the economy turns around this place will be gone forever, so enjoy!

I like this park because it was pretty much empty, so the wide open spots seemed more wide open. The entrance is pretty rough so take it easy. You make your reservation through a third party which relays it to the campground so there is some room for confusion. The bathrooms and laundry were so-so. The rate is a three day special and they no longer take Passport America but still they get the advertising. We ended up staying five days because of the rate, had it not been for the special we would not have stayed in the first place.

End of the season PA rates, this owner was willing to put rubber on the site. We stayed here five days with virtually no one in the park and enjoyed the peak fall colors in this area. Here is the deal mostly a local campground meaning mostly northeast area unless you feel comfortable driving around trees and backing up don't come in this campground with a big rig. The power was weak on the weekend but fine when everyone left so beware in the summertime when you need AC forget it also the water pressure is non-existent when the campground is busy. I would give this park a 5 when busy and a 9 when empty so the average is a 7.

Very nice park for Dry camping by the lake, don't know if they have a dump but water hose bibs are spread out through the park for water. We were just passing through and it was to far to late to make it to John Day so we pulled in for the night, i would come back.

This place will probably change its name to Rivers Edge Mobile Home Park before to long. We have used this park for our Hot August Nights campground for the last eight years, but things are changing. The park wants to accommodate more long term residents and not cater to the short term guests. Unless you are real short term, two or three days, then they can place you in the park where there is space, rather than you reserving a site. I like this park but will probably have to look elsewhere.

We reviewed this park before and gave it a 8 because we saw a desire to improve, will this time they truly deserve a eight. The owner is striving to make this a great park for the area, now they still take you through the riff raff (permanent residents) when parking you but even that looks a little better, we will stay here again. The price was a little higher because of Fifties Fever going on in town.

This park is a nice park but too overpriced in the peak season. Out of the peak it seems to be a little more reasonable. If you have kids they will love it, can't really find anything to complain about except for the electrical service (30 amp) is a little weak. Probably won't use this park again unless a necessity that we have to be in this area, then I will bite the bullet, pay the price and enjoy.

Nice campground to visit Capitol Reef. Most of the sites are big rig friendly but very unlevel and you really don't notice it until you get in it and try to level. We ended up moving to another site the next day which was a little easier to level. We were here three days.

I reviewed this park last fall and gave it a good review. Since then they have changed owners and also changed policies. While the park is still in very good condition they no longer give coupons and it appears the price has gone up. So there you have it, a higher price and no perks at a casino campground. We won't be back. Oh by the way they do have WIFI now but didn't work while we were there.

We lucked out and got a very level site #30. Most sites are on a hill either coming or going through the loop. The restrooms were being remodeled so there are four shiny blue porta-potties instead. We didn't use them so can't say if they were clean. This park is beautiful but most sites are unsuitable for motor home or fifth wheel unless you have lots of blocks for leveling. The generator time was not a problem.

This park is in the National Park system which is about 34 miles northwest of Moab. We were actually going to stay at Deadhorse State Park and couldn't get in and were redirected to this Park, what luck. While there is no power, water or dump come prepared its a great place to have access to the south rim trail, Shafer trail and many more 4WD roads. As far as the park there is ten spots and 1 and 10 are the only ones that are big rig friendly but what a neat place to stay, we were here three days.

Simple park, simple price, I like it. This park accepts CCUSA and that works for me. It is convenient to the Canyonlands, to the Hideout golf course, has good Wi-Fi and the cable TV works good. It might be a little tight for Big Rig turnarounds but we pulled out and then right back in, no problem. I will be back as long as they continue to accept a discount card.

This park is ok for a pass through. The laundry room is clean but washer and dryers are inadequate for size of campground. If you go in casino bring an oxygen tank, this has to be the smokiest casino i have ever been in (low ceilings, poor ventilation system). Back to the campground, other than the sprinklers soaking your coach with hard water it will work.

I see the beauty and I see the need for some serious upkeep. We stayed here four days, used it for our hub. While using PA the rates were about right. Somebody has poured a ton of money into this place and then did nothing. It has the potential to be a ten plus resort with some consistent upkeep, and with the right marketing strategy could sustain itself to pay for the upkeep. I am not talking about work campers that if they don't feel like working that day, they don't. We got here early in May and I will excuse some of the things that needed attention due to the fact we are just climbing out of winter. It has the feel of a summer camp enviroment: if you have kids they will love it when things get rolling after Memorial Day. It also has the potential to be real dusty when busy. I don't know if they have any dust control policy in affect, but we had a good time and enjoyed our stay.

There are plenty of sites for big rigs, but they limit the size to 30 feet due to the fact of maneuvering through the trees to get in and out of the park loops. We found this not a problem but could see this might be intimidating if at night or very crowded. So there you have it, dry camping at its best but you are limited with size of rig. We stayed here three days with our large DP and had a great time. The limited generator time was no problem.

We were going to stay at Gooseneck State Park and would have but no one was there. While we don't like crowds, we at least like someone in case of emergency or intruder alerts, so we moved on. Anyway we were quite pleased with this park: the layout, the cleanliness and the owner's attitude, very nice.

This park is perfect for my needs now if you have children this park is probably not for you. If you need a place to stay in Vegas that doesn't break the bank this is it. Security i felt safe. Dog run a little out of the way but your dog needs to walk anyway. I will use this park anytime we are in the area. Oh by the way the dog will cost you a extra dollar included in price.

This is a great park for a great price, PA discount applied. The only things you might find to complain about is all dirt (red dirt) with a gravel layer on top, Wi-Fi was a little slow but still a great park for the money. Will be back when through the area.

This is a nice State Park prior to the rate hike, its to bad Calif. is in such a financial dilemma that it had to go to the one thing families could afford to do as a family. Hopefully in a couple of years it can be reversed like Arnold did a couple of years ago back to a affordable rate. The park is a nice park with wide open sites and beautiful trees and some with a view to the ocean. One thing i can say is you can probably get a site anytime you want now, if you want to pay the price.

This park has the potential to be a 10, but lets its permanent tenants and upkeep in the park keep it from that. First of all the entrance appearance is excellent and the office is very nice but once you get past that it takes on a tattered look. A park that charges this rate should have Wi-Fi through out the park. We stayed here a week as the rate reflects but if I paid the nightly rate I would look for a Wal-Mart etc...

I would give this park a 11. This just might be the best park for the money you could ever stay in price reflects monthly rate. This park has everything you could possibly want, Wi-Fi,cable,a lot of room, golf course, gated entry. We will be back and we have been back and we will be back again. What a park...

We enjoyed this campground and I'm going to give it a 10. This campground had everything we needed from fast Wi-Fi to friendly staff. We were only here for one night but I could stay here a week or longer. I felt the price was right for everything they had to offer.

Dry camping, Natl. Park access, this campground has it. If your rig is over 32ft. be careful in allot of these camp loops they are tight and if your not careful you can get yourself into trouble. Each spot has a view and because we were there the last part of September we virtually had the campground to our selves.

This campground accepted CCUSA after Sept.15 and it was convenient on our exit out of Yellowstone. Some of the reasons i might give more favorable reviews is because we now can travel out of the summer crowds and allot of these campgrounds are less crowded and the weather is cooler and the price is cheaper therefore it creates a better mind set. The Wi-Fi worked from my MH.

Well you can tell the season is winding down for this park, once you get past the main gates everything just looks a little run down or maybe just left untouched. We have stayed here before in the peak season and things are better kept up. Every time we stay here we say next time we are going to stay in the one across the street and we forget, well after this time we will. I don't know what is going on with the construction next to the park but this could be a distraction due to the fact there is no buffer for sound (trees etc.). Anyway everything works in the park: Wi-Fi, cable TV, and the laundry is in very good shape. In fact the front office is excellent: it just looks like they laid the landscape crew off.

I was a little miffed that when we got here they did not accept PA discount anymore: I guess new owners, but since we were here for two days and I wanted to play golf at The Works, we went ahead and antied-up and made the best out of it. The park is nice and very friendly but the grounds could be dusty if busy. Wi-Fi is good, cable TV is good but like I say: it could be dusty when busy.

Campground is OK for the early months and the fall months but could be very hot in the summer months and dusty. We had a pretty good spot but one thing i noticed is when they don't assign you a spot people tend to drive like heck through the park in fear of losing there spot before they get back to the ranger station, that's the only sense i can make of it.

What a mad house, get there early. This is a nice park but dump station is inadequate for this size of campground. This campground has some tight spots for big rigs so be careful, but as usual it is a great spot for Yellowstone and we did enjoy it.

Nice campground for dry camping, dump stations could use a better lay out with potable water at a distant location, but i guess they don't want you to move and they don't. Campground is nice with all spots parellel to the road, people drive slow so there is no problem.

It is a nice park, sites are a little tight. I just don't like KOA's. This park excepts Good Sam. It is convenient in Salt Lake City for Tabernacle tours. Twenty-nine would be a good price. I wish they had skipped the emails asking if I enjoyed my stay.

EEE I don't know, this place is ok just ok. We came to the rib cook off. One local park wanted an arm and a leg, and another local park wanted two arms and a leg. We use this park as our Hot August Nights hang out and i might say when there is a event going on you can double the daily fee. This park is convenient and when there is a event you pay the price. Over the years and especially now I see more and more perms. coming in probably because of the economy. You got people losing there homes and having to move into a RV park and people losing there RV's having to stay at home, so we seeing parks like this one become more a trailer park than a RV park, until things turn around this will probably be the norm. I have used this park for eight years now off and on and would rather stay here than the new Marina any day, sorry!

I think I'm getting used to paying high prices in Calif. This campground has it all and pretty much covers things to do for the whole family. One thing I noticed is if you stay ten days in a year you get one night free. Another thing I was impressed with is when the sprinklers come on in the night it doesn't get your Coach wet, good job.

The only reason it got a eight is because of the price. I was forced to stay here because of the car show which I was part of. If not for that, forget it. I will boycott KOA at all costs. They had there day and they blew it. They gouged and overcharged. If not for some attractions and Casinos they have connected with, they would go bust. Out of fairness this is a nice park. For families it has allot to offer, but for fixed income people, there is no such thing as a value card here. Other than the occasional use for a KOA (special event) I won't be back. Even at that I will look at all my other options first, to bad they lost me in the early nineties. I could have given this park a one because of my dislike for KOA'S but for some one who does not mine paying out the nose you will love it!

This is a NFS campground and is hosted by seasonal workers that are very knowledgeable about the area and helpful. We camped here three days while visiting Sedona and Jerome and entered and departed through Flagstaff. This campground is primitive in the sense that you come with empty tanks and filled with water, the only dump that I'm aware of is at the Giant gas station in Flagstaff on the left side facing the station. We camped here out of the summer season but had no problem getting in but the weekends did fell up.

It gripes me to pay this much money for a night, now I will look at it two ways. When I had kids, and we got limited time during the year, not a problem. But now that I'm on a fixed income and traveling eight months out of the year i average about 20 a night. Back to the campground, its nice, clean and new, but in this area it will be hard to sustain the price for overnighters without some kind of discount PA GS or something or else it will fall into the perms. and all the junk that goes with it. My main reason for stopping here was two working partners that I had worked with were here on a monthly rate, so we stopped here for a mini reunion. Other than that I would have stayed at the Walmart and moved on, at this price I won't be back.

I guess you could give this park a 10 because they only charge 10, i don't know but I wish there were more places to stay like this that when passing through, you could get by with ten dollars. This is a nice park and probaly due to the fact nobody was in the park made it even better. Lots of hiking or whatever and one thing we were told to beware of is when you are walking your dog keep a close look out for stray dogs from the reservatuion or packs of dogs thjat run loose, we did not witness this but were on the lookout. One thing i have to mention is the people that were helping the ranger George and Joy as campground hosts did a excellent job helping everybody out that came into the campground and even though they weren't officially the hosts i hope there work did not go in vain, Thanks we will be Back

This was a spotless park and i enjoyed staying there until i moved to a new spot and it had rained that night but next day i noticed a distinctive stench only to realize the guy next to me which was a long term resident was dumping his Grey water with a hose at the tree which was closer to my site than his-DISGUSTING. I can't believe this is legal in New Mexico public campgrounds, but he wasn't hiding it he was just letting it flow and it stunk. Now i noticed allot of long term residents some probably been there the better part of the winter because of the heat strips on their hoses, wow what I thought was camping could just might be somebody else last stop.

I liked this park because I prefer public or state parks over private anyway but this park is a beautiful and quiet park. Now there is a couple of things i must point out you do drive through a not so good area to get there (no way around it) and their was a distinct odor in the air when the wind was a certain way possibly a rendering plant or something they produce or manufacture in the area this was disturbing but the restrooms and laundry were spotless and the host was very helpful. It was a great way to visit Memphis. We stayed here three days.

I will not stay here again, first let me give you the good points, good Wi-Fi, good cable and a great campground host which I guess comes here every year. Now the bad, very very rude check in lady that offers no help as far as information in the area. Tight roadways in and out, campground is noisy from freeway noise Hwy 65. I hate to beat up on a campground that offers PA discounts but when you get treated this bad on the phone trying to get there and at the front gate asking questions when you are trying to check in we won't be back.

This park should be a model for all parks to follow. First of all they accepted PA discount all week. Talked to other campers and they used another discount which was accepted. I look at private parks completely different than state or county or Corps Of Engineers because usually you are subject to a completely different environment to make ends meet. This park had no long term tenants. The bathrooms appeared clean. The laundry seemed clean. Wi-fi was great, staff very helpful.

This park is nice with wide open spaces lakeview if you prefer we were here when they had a cold front going through so bugs were not a issue. This time we used it as are Mardi Gras hub and it worked out great. Some of the pull-through sites are way too tight but overall the park is fairly clean. Again slight smell of sewer certain times of day but I'm noticing this more and more with older parks (20year plus).
