This was an overnight stop as we were traveling from Williams, Arizona to San Diego. The pull through site was easy to access. The campground is right next to the Yuma river but the water level was very low. The people in the KOA store were very friendly and helpful. You are right across the river from Arizona and if you need diesel fuel it is 30 cents a gallon cheaper than in California. The campground is very close to the Interstate and truck traffic noise is fairly loud. This was a good overnight stop with easy off and on access from the Interstate.
We were here in January and there were only a few other RVs. Not all the sites were cleared of snow; which did not matter as there were plenty of cleared ones. The signs for the park are small and easy to miss; especially the one that turns into the street for your arrival. It was a bit confusing where to go to register but once there it is very easy to navigate. As stated by other reviewers; this is essentially a large parking lot. The sites are not completely level and ours sloped back towards the entrance which was not a big deal. We drove the hour to the Grand Canyon easily and rarely saw a car on the drive to or from the National Park. The town of Williams has some interesting stores and the local information TV channel is very informative. Word of caution about the restaurants; go to Google and check out the reviews before you commit as some are not rated well. If I were in the area again I would gladly use this RV park.
This is a great, small well-maintained and quiet campground. Pride of ownership by Bob and Chris is evident throughout. The laundry room and showers are spotless and in perfect working order. My pull-through site was easy to find and access. This is a great place to set up to visit local attractions including Sedona. If I am in the area again, I will absolutely stay here.
A secluded, quiet park. Very easy access off Interstate 25. Interesting visitor's center. Only complaint: it was confusing as to how to position our Fifth Wheel in the sites. We arrived after normal working hours and no staff were available. There were only three other RVs here so space was not a problem.
