Over all, this is a beautiful park. However, there are several major issues which we will not return to. The website map of the park shows buildings/lounges/activities that don't even exist. The sewer systems over flowed onto individual camp sites three (3) separate times this past winter. Heavy rains over the past 2 years, flooded most sites and caused undermining of soil beneath the concrete pads. Dead limbs from trees can (and do) fall, causing damage to vehicles. Repair of this damage is at your expense; as you sign a waiver upon check-in. I know of at least 8 snowbird couples that will not be returning next year. I can not recommend this park to anyone.
We enjoyed this park so much, we cancelled a reservation elsewhere just to stay an additional month at Willow Lakes. Facilities are beautiful and kept very clean. The people were exceptionally friendly, and make you feel at home. There is a 9 hole golf course that surrounds you. Sites are lush with landscaping, and sized larger (in Phase 3) than most of them in FL. This is a very quiet park. You won't be disappointed!
The park staff is very friendly and keep the grounds very clean, considering it's age. They welcome you with fresh desserts, and serve a light breakfast in the morning. Sites are easy to access. We felt that the one night stay was not worth the price, so will only consider staying here again if they lower their rates.
