We absolutely loved this park. My oldest enjoyed fishing with his Dad while my younger son had a wonderful time playing with the other children at the playground. There are deer that can be seen late afternoon walking around in the field behind the campsites. The only downside was that the lake was low and there were not any sites that were very close to the water. Even with this, we will still be going back. The park even held a wonderful Easter egg hunt on the Saturday prior to Easter Sunday.
Park is right off of I-30 but you would not know it because it is so quiet. Sites are level and the gentleman that owns the park escorted us to our site. He was also very helpful when finding out about things to do in Hot Springs and Little Rock. The bathhouse was clean and had several new washers and dryers available. There is also a very pretty lake at the back of the park with a gazebo and picnic tables. There are several permanent residents but the spots were very clean and did not distract from the park. We enjoyed our stay and will go back here again.
Park was fine for a short weekend trip. While there were several bathhouses on the property, only one was open during our stay. The small playground was fine. The fishing access was good and both my husband and older son enjoyed the area. We will more than likely visit this campground again.
My family stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the sights in Little Rock and Hot Springs. Extremely easy access to the interstate. The park is in a country setting with lots of shade, a beautiful lake and very clean restrooms and showers. They have brand new washers and dryers in the front of the bath house also. My boys loved running around and exploring. The owners were great and extremely helpful with what all we could see and do. We will definitely be staying here again.
