Pretty much the same as others have stated. Highly recommend staying in one of the 7 newer pull-thru's as they are mostly level and utilities are good, rest of sites are very iffy. BEWARE PETOWNERS; the sand burrs are everywhere and painful, we used dog shoes for our dog and were constantly picking them out of our shoes and the dogs'. There is a nice sand/dirt path that leads to sandy dog area. We are full-timers and have stayed in 100's of CG's and believe this may be our least favorite. Staff is nice but don't try to use your VKR $'s because they don't want to be bothered.

Started at a campground on other side of lake then discovered this campground when checking out the area and decided to move the next day. The developed campground inside of the state park is called Limestone Campground. The roads and sites are paved with most sites being level. Very few full hookups and not all have 50 amp but a very nice park. We reserved two nights on an electric and water site but ended up staying two nights longer due to high winds in the area, but enjoyed our stay. Our site #16 was roomy enough for our 40' Class A and truck and had good views, but our personal favorite on the reservation side was site 14, but it was not available for our stay. You can stay on the reservation side for 1 night without reservations if the site is not marked reserved, otherwise you can stay on the walk-in loop up to 14 days. There is a self pay at the campground entry AND in Limestone campground so better to find your site then use self pay station over in campground by the shower house. The shower was just a hot slow trickle (on/off button only) so not very enjoyable. The campground lost water the second night we were there but it was repaired and back by first thing in the morning, so good job on their part. Rangers came through several times daily to check on things. The entire state park is well maintained with boat ramps, etc. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Very accommodating staff, and facilities were very well maintained. Nice landscaping, and benches that invited you to sit and enjoy the rolling view of the meadow. Lead us to our site, delivered firewood, the owner stopped by to talk to us, very pleasant. Would definitely recommend this campground to others and would NOT consider another campground for future Hocking Hill visits. They make "where to camp in Hocking Hills" a no brainer!

Disappointed upon arrival because reserved a back in site and was escorted to a pull through (site#91) that they call a back in because of a large tree that prevents it from being a pull through. This site was immediately next to a cabin and was tight so they moved us to the new section of the campground which felt disconnected from the campground but it was still nice with roomy, long grassy sites. The staff came to our site shortly after escorting us there and checked in on us to see how we were doing and gave us a free ice cream cone card, nice touch! Very nice, clean, friendly park, we would definitely return. A lot of nice amenities.
