Nice quiet family run park. A good place to relax. This was our last stop on the way home. The park has a nice pond that most of the sites overlook. Would be nice if they had some pull in sites for motor homes could look our front windows to see the pond. But we went into a pull through that allowed us to view the pond and sunset. The pull through site had a slight incline, but we where able to level up OK. The pool closes at dark. I think they had showers, but they where locked so we didn't use them. The WiFfi worked well. No cable, but they get plenty of stations on antenna. We would stay here again if we are coming back that way and have a few extra days on our vacation. Owner was very friendly.
This park is sad and run down. We thought about staying there for 2 nights and possibly joining the TT zone. But the park was so run down, we only stayed one night. The asphalt roads have pot holes and ruts that it twist your rig as you are driving. The sites are mostly gravel, and grass. The pull thru sites are very narrow and show as back to back sites. They should just be single sites. I'm sure this was a very nice park back when it was developed and could be a nice park again if they would put some effort into maintenance, but I didn't see anyone working on any thing. The pool was clean, but needed resurfacing. They have put put golf, but be careful not to trip on the uneven sidewalks or fall into the large holes by the course. I wish this had been a nicer park. We will not be back to this park.
Stayed here 3 nights, because third night was free. Park staff friendly and helpful with area attractions. If you are going to float down the river, they will call a tube company to pick you up at the park and drop you back off. You don't have to worry about where to park. The park has a lot of trees, so good shade. The sites we stayed at was gravel, but we were able to level up our 40 footer without any problems. We will stay here again.
Nice park with view of the lake. The staff works hard to make sure the facilities are kept clean and in order. Some sites have are not level and require extra blocks to bring the camper up level. We camped in a 40 MH and were lucky enough to get a spot that was fairly level. Hot tub is small 4 person's tub in the weight room. Staff is very friendly. Brought rating down because WiFi did not work while we were here, and site levels.
The office staff was very friendly. The sites at this park are very narrow. Just a concert slab wide enough for the motor home. No extra. We had a lot of rain while we where there, and had to step out into mud. No picnic tables or patio slabs. Obviously a new park, hopefully they will add some extra concrete to allow more room when parking. Side exit made it nice when leaving. The park is centrally located in Bryan, so was easy to access local festival and winery.
Great Park to stay at. Staff was friendly and the park very clean. Follow the directions listed on the park website for the best way to enter. The GPS wants to send you through some tight turns, but the park website takes you directly to the front gate. Lake has some bass if you are interested. Park is close to area attractions. Only reason for not giving this park a 10 was the highway noise. We would come back again.
First trip to New Orleans, and this park. Based on other reviews, we knew that the park was not located in a "typical" RV park area, so we were not surprised by the industrial surroundings. The park was very quiet on the canal with fishing opportunities. All the sites are gravel and ours was not level. Park staff was friendly and the shuttle driver was very informative about the areas to see and those to avoid. I think the park is very secure. We used our AAA discount without any problems We would stay here again.
