Every review we read about this park was true. Unfortunately, the water was undrinkable. Very salty, and left a residue on everything! So bring your own water. The sites were very narrow with sharp turns. Had to change our site because we couldn't get into the first one. Also the bathrooms are at the top of a steep hill. You definitely got a work out going to the shower or bathroom unless you were at one of the upper sites. The men's shower lacked privacy with only a divider between stalls, and no curtain. Also no soap dispensers for hand washing. The good thing about this location was that it was close to Glenwood Springs and all the activities. Also it was beautiful being nestled in the side of a mountain. Noisy at times being close to the train and interstate but pretty! Also the owner/or manager was great. Very friendly and really tried to accommodate us. Wi-Fi restricted to office area. We would probably not stay here again.
Very nice campground. Free coffee and cookies too! Showers and restrooms clean and well maintained. Nice clean pool. The only problem was the campsite was all gravel. Very dusty, and noisy. Felt as though we were parked in a parking lot. Gave meaning to the name "Rock" springs! Would stay here again.
Campground host nice. Directed us to a site that was pull through, but to pull through we had to drive through tent campers! Hostess said it was "Ok, they're nice people"! What had us concerned was how we were going to back up in there to pull our trailer out. Utilities set up that your door was right in front of your neighbors, and there were no picnic tables at some of the sites. Also sites very small toward back of park. Couldn't open our awning due to close proximity of trees. Showers OK, but trash had not been emptied the 4 days we were there. Would not stay there again.
OK as far as KOA's. Bathroom and showers barely pass for clean. Lots of bugs and very dated. Whole park had worn, run down appearance. Pool also worn, dated and very crowded. Sites level but doors faced each other with picnic tables adjoining each other. Very little privacy. Grass also sparse between sites. It rained and was very muddy. Staff very nice. Free coffee and was close to town. Would probably not stay here again.
Loved this park. "Resort" is right. Very clean, pool was great. Close to bike and hiking trail around the city of Polson. Close to Flathead lake and town. Staff very friendly. They even have a "cocktail hour" with appetizers by the pool at 4:30 every day. Really enjoyed our stay there and would definitely stay there again. The sites were level and very well maintained. Sites weren't real spacious but adequate.
Very nice park. Campground host very helpful and friendly. Showers and bathrooms very nice and clean. Only drawback was one stall in the men's room. Nice family friendly lounge with pool table computer and free coffee! Internet service slow at times, but was able to get it without any difficulty at site farthest from office. Very near to West Glacier Park. Would definitely stay here again.
Of the two RV parks in town, this one was better, but not much. Campground host nice lady, had to go across street to son's place of work to run credit card. Office trashed. Shower curtains nasty dirty but bathrooms clean enough. Got to pick out our site, which was nice. Lots of out of town workers here and had tents set up. Most people I talked to were working on power line, had been here up to 6months and the place looked like it. Lots of home stuff and kid's toys cluttering park. Out of 44 sites, 19 were the workers. There is a pool at the city park, nothing to do with the RV park. Also there was no cable TV signal. Cell phone service intermittent. Good internet signal. Ok for one night. Would not stay here again.
Campground clean and well maintained. Using old trailer as shower and bathroom. Though clean, it was old and very hot! No air conditioning and electric outlets didn't work. Sites small and crowded though level and easy to pull into. Also had some back in sites. It was alright but would probably not stay here again.
Very nice campground 7 miles west of Bozeman. Park very clean and well maintained. Nice pool with adjacent splash park. Had problems with plumbing and spent week without hot water. So unable to use showers but they gave you vouchers to use showers at Hot Springs adjacent to KOA. Close to area attractions and restaurants. Would stay here again.
Oasis off of I-90. Very nice, clean, well maintained and organized campground. Very friendly staff. Sites right on the Boulder River. Beautiful roomy sites with individual fire rings and picnic tables at each site. They also have trout farm pools which you can fish. Really enjoyed our 2 night stay. Would have stayed longer if we could.
Easy to find, right off interstate. But that was a problem, too much traffic noise. Also, there was no Internet access. When I complained at office about not being able to get Internet, the lady running the desk said some sites were unable to get it, that's why it was free! Nice pool and people friendly but really needed Internet. Would not stay here again! Nicer KOA down the road.
Great Park! Very affordable with discounts due to Good Sam's and length of stay. Host very friendly. There are rules, easy to follow, basically common sense that are found at most family campgrounds. Had two bad storms with hail that affected septic system in men's bathroom. Had it cleaned up very quickly. Well equipped store with groceries and RV supplies. Lots of sites with shade trees. Located near to many activities in the Black Hills. Sites were a little close together, only thing that kept it from getting a 10! Would definitely stay there again.
Great area in the badlands. Close to park and badlands but nestled in an quiet pretty setting. Friendly helpful hosts with adequate grocery and gift store. Skip the breakfast. Not very good and cold coffee! But otherwise great stay and would stay here again. Cell phones do not work in campground, but can get reception if you hike up to road. Also Internet reception intermittent. Nice pool, laundry, playground, and pet areas.
Beautiful rustic state park campground. Very family friendly with a lot to do and see. Went horseback riding, biking, hiking, and swimming. They have a fun free rodeo on Thursday nights, and even have their own summer theater troupe! Very clean bathrooms and nice warm showers. Only one washing machine and dryer, but the city of Crawford is only 3 miles away with a coin laundromat. Loved it there and will definitely return.
Site was as advertised. Very clean, and the people were friendly. Had some trouble setting up our computer hook up for Wi-Fi, and they went above and beyond to help us get set up. Bathrooms were very clean and the laundry room was very nice. Would stay there again.
