Had a back in site right on the bay. Looking out the back window you might think you were on a boat. Very pleasant and accommodating staff. Hint: ask about the bone island shuttle rather than call a taxi. With steaks and Florida lobster on the grill; a line in the water. Jimmy Buffet on the cd player as I watched one of the most beautifull sunsets ever. Not to mention a margarita in hand and a cigar to go with it. I can't imagine anyone would not like this place. I will say that it could use some updating it is an older place and if you want a resort go to Sunshine key. Even the facilities at Sunshine key could use updating. If you want to be close to Key West this is the place. If there is anything you don't like here make a margarita and wait for sunset you will forget about everything else.
Not a great campground. Sites are not level. It rained while we were there and entire campground was a big mud puddle. The manager was rude but the rest of the staff was pleasant. The maintenance man came by and asked if I would like help setting up in the dark. (none of the street lights worked). Bottom line if you don't have to stay in Greensboro I would pass; but it is the only campground in the Greensboro area so if you have to stay in Greensboro you have no choice.
