Rate was Passport America. This is a great park, very clean with great host's. This park is in very good condition, but the owners are improving all the sites, and redoing the sites, most are gravel with tree canopies. Premium sites are concrete and in the open near the pool. I had requested a satellite friendly site, after arriving I found that cable TV is offered at all sites. We enjoyed this park very much, the only fault I found is the roadways are gravel and some people had a tendency to drive a little fast, raising some dust.
I would of given a little better rating, park was clean and well cared for. The problems were.. Park is on the approach end of an airport, so noise of aircraft taking off and landing. Railroad tracks about 1/2 mile away. there horns blowing all night long. Didn't get a good nights sleep. Sewage plant near by so if the wind was blowing the wrong way, well you get the idea.
I agree with all said about this campsite. Very interesting Hopi Indian history, rangers very friendly. Although I could not find 50 amp service, with diligent use of power had no problen with 30 amp service. If you stay here make a trip to Winslow and go to the La Posada Hotel. It was a Railroad hotel in the 30s and is being rebuilt.
