We always stay at this park when we are heading to Oregon. It is immaculate and the staff are extremely helpful. It is very quiet and it is walking distance to eateries and stores. Each concrete RV site is very large and can easily accommodate a big rig (we have a 38 foot motorhome with a tow vehicle). Their pool is great and cool when the weather turns hot. Lots of amenities.
We stayed 1 night. Because of the one way streets in Grants Pass, entrance into the park is a little bizarre, but manageable. The sites are a little tight for a big rig (we have a 38 foot motorhome with a tow vehicle), but it was manageable. The park is small (only 54 sites), but it is very clean. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. We walked into town for dinner and window shopping. There is quite a bit of I-5 traffic noise at night; however, we will stay here again.
We stayed a week at this park. It is close to Florence and the dunes are accessible right behind the park. Woahink Lake is across the street and perfect for kayaking. The park is immaculate, bathrooms and laundry room are well maintained, and the owners go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. The only reason I rated it a 9, instead of a 10, is that it had very limited Internet access. Had a hard time maintaining connectivity with their Wi-Fi connection and my Verizon card. Had to go into Florence to get a good connection. We'll stay at this again.
Oregon has the best state parks in the nation. This park has to be the best one! Clean, well maintained, geared towards family and children, and it has excellent friendly staff. Had to book our reservations early to get a good spot. It is a short drive to the ocean (about a mile), two miles to the lighthouse, and 4 miles to town (Bandon). Bandon puts on a great Fourth of July celebration, from their parade to the fireworks. We have stayed at this park numerous times and will be back again next year.
We stayed 5 days. Love this park! The park is old, but very well maintained, very clean bathrooms, and over 100 acres of walking trails, and a short walk to the beach. There is a restaurant on the premises that serves the best German food we had ever had. Yum! The owners were extremely nice and accommodating to everyone. The RV resort stays very busy, so you'll need to book reservations early. The only reason I gave the park a rating of 9, and not a 10, was due to the limitations of the 30 amp electric hookups. It seemed like the best we could get out of it was 20 amps, at best. We'll be back!
We stayed 5 nights with full hookups. Bathrooms had a major water leak from a broken water main. They were fixing it while we were there. Park is old, but clean and well maintained. It has lots of permanent residents. We paid extra for an ocean view, but had to back into the site in order to use the hookups. Rather disappointed with the view! No signage on Highway 101 to let you know where they are located. Small narrow roads made it hard to disconnect/connect our tow vehicle. Entrance driveway into RV park is in disrepair. Most likely will not stay at this park again.
Limited signage to RV park on Highway 20. Had to call park manager for specific directions. Park is clean, bathrooms clean (they are across the street from the RV park), and there is limited road noise. A number of permanent residents in park, but they kept to themselves. Bob, the park manager, was wonderful and very helpful. Clear Lake is not very clear this time of the year. Lots of green algae, not very pretty. The public park adjacent to the RV park seemed to attract problem people.
Enjoyed our stay for 3 nights and four days. No street or freeway noise. Park is older, but everything, including the bathrooms, were immaculate. Park also has permanent residents, but it was quiet and peaceful. Would go back again.
