We stayed in this park for a few weeks, and our friends actually live here full time right now. It is a very nice, clean and modern park with all concrete sites. It is very well maintained, and has very nice modern facilities. It is right on the highway and is near shopping and restaurants. The people who live here are very friendly as well.
We stayed here for a few weeks while my husband was working nearby. We really liked this campground. They have quite a bit of shade and river access if you like canoeing. They have a nice pool, laundry facilities, and clean restrooms and showers. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the park is nearby shopping and restaurants. The sites have concrete patios, but the parking is on dirt or sand. We had problems with ants despite the maintenance crew applying pesticide to control them.
We stayed here for a couple months and found the park very well maintained and the staff very friendly and helpful. They are a new park in 2012 so there are no mature shade trees as of yet. The restrooms, laundry, and exercise facilities were very nice and cleaned daily. Most of the full-time residents are working in the Houston area, but there are short term people also. They have some nice small mobile homes available for rent as well if you do not have an RV of your own.
This is a very rustic campground with no paved roads or concrete pads. We were very disappointed in the general conditions present and the mud was so bad from the rain the previous day that we nearly got our dually stuck twice just getting to the site. We opted to leave and stay at another park due to the conditions we found in the winter time. It may be more appealing in the summer months, but we cannot recommend it during any kind of wet weather.
