One of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed at. We were at a deluxe site (#9) which included a very nice patio, patio furniture, swing, and what appeared to be a new Weber gas grill. We were there for 4 nights with our son and two labs. Looked like there were plenty of nice sites, although it was certainly a bonus to be so close to the bathhouse and pool, etc. Beautiful view. Owners and staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Very nice pool, tether ball, and playground area. Restrooms and showers were kept very clean, as was the entire campground. They had cornhole set out for those who wanted to play and a very nice game room that even had Rock Band! Luckily for us, the weather was terrific and we had no need to spend time in the game room. The mining sluice was fun for our 11 year old son. Highly recommend this campground.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer the last week of June 2006. Let me first say that I have never traveled to this area before so the whole experience was a bit overwhelming! I was not anticipating the unbelievable traffic/crowds and commercialism we found in Pigeon Forge. That being said, I was disappointed to find that the campground was not located in the mountains (not even the foothills), but was just one block off the main strip in Pigeon Forge. We requested a stream-side site and luckily were assigned a very nice one. However, some stream-side sites are directly across the stream from a parking garage. The campground was clean, very quiet, and small which we greatly appreciated after battling crowds everywhere else. It is also very close to Dollywood and everything else Pigeon Forge has to offer. Another nice thing about the location is that it is at the far end of Pigeon Forge and offers convenient access to Gatlinburg, as well. We visited many campgrounds during our stay and believe that Twin Mountain was certainly the best place to stay in Pigeon Forge. Just don't anticipate a mountain-type of atmostphere at this campground. My husband and son had a ball tubing on the stream, and the pool was always nice and clean. If we were to visit Pigeon Forge again, we would definitely stay here. For a campground more in the mountains, you might want to consider staying in Gatlinburg a very short drive from Pigeon Forge.

Wow! What a great camping experience! This was the nicest campground we have ever stayed at. The restrooms are immaculate, as are most of the common areas of the campground. The pools are fantastic. The new waterslide/pool complex was really nice - has zero entry for little ones (as does the other pool) and the waterslide is great for the older ones. My 7 year old loved it! There was an abundance of life guards at the new pool, plus two life guards at the old pool. Daily activities, including pool games, crafts, and bingo, as well as nightly movies, kept us occupied when we weren't off doing other things. (FYI - A visit to the Inner Harbor took about 1 hour and 15 minutes.) We had a really large, deep campsite that was just perfect with a mix of shade and sun. The Deli on the Deck is great for a quick lunch or an ice cream cone after dinner! The campground is close to everything and the staff is WONDERFUL. Our truck broke down while we were there and one of the staff drove my husband to the auto parts store to get what he needed!!! Even offered to loan him tools if he didn't have what was required! Luckily the alternator was replaced in an hour and we were off and running again. We will definitely visit here again. What a great experience. We camped here with our son and two dogs for five nights.

We stayed here in a 26' travel trailer with our 6-year old son and two dogs in May 2005. This campground was exceptional. Everything was very clean and well kept. They had what looked to be a very nice pool (although on the small side) which had not yet opened for the season. There was also a nice mini-golf course and playground. Kids seemed to love the pedal carts that are availble although we didn't have time to try them out. They also have a large inflatable slide and jumping tent that was in operation part of the time we were there. They also are in the process of putting in a new water slide. The restrooms were exceptionally clean and the office staff very helpful - you are escorted to your site by a member of the staff. We will definitely stay here again!

We camped here in a 26' travel trailer in May 2005 as a stopping point on our way to and from Maryland. We had our 6-year old son and two dogs with us. The restrooms were very clean and the campground was very well kept. We stayed on a site right across from the lake. The site was large and the view of the lake was nice. Although the main road to the campground ran between our site and the lake, this did not pose a problem for us as the campground was not overly busy at the time we were there. There is a nice playground area and what looked like a very nice pool. They also have mini-golf and basketball available. The office staff were friendly and helpful. This is a great place to stay and enjoy the Laurel Highlands.
