We especially liked this park! It is a great place to stay. The sites are level and were plenty wide, enough to open our slides without any worries. There is a very nice indoor swimming pool with both morning and evening hours reserved for adults only. The restrooms and showers were very clean. There is a shuttle that takes you to the Seven Feathers Casino located just across the freeway and they also own the truck stop next to the RV park where you can buy fuel at a $0.03/gal discount if you join the casino's club. On the fourth Friday of the month they have all you can eat seafood at the casino's buffet. We really enjoyed the dungeness and snow crab! We will definitely stay here again!
We stopped here just for one night and really expected more that what we found. This has the potential to be a really nice park someday. The park lacks landscaping. There isn't any grass between the sites, just some small, young tress that brushed up against our coach at times and a little bit of ground cover. The WiFi was unusable: I was unable to connect standing 10 feet away from the access point. The WiFi system does not have the capability to provide a connection to but a handful of users.
This is an older park but it is a very nice place. The staff was really nice and helpful. The sites are a little narrow but we didn't have any problem with our slides. It is a good place to stop for an overnight stay.
This is an older but very nice park. We were in a "Super site" because that was what was available when I called. The staff was great! We had a problem with the cable TV signal and the manager had someone out there the next day to replace the cable leading to our site. We appreciated his responsiveness to the problem. We would stay here again next time.
Winchester Bay RV Park is a very nice RV park located on the Umpqua River. There are sites that face the marina and others that face the river. This is probably the best park that we have stayed in. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We met many really nice people here and look forward to returning on our next trip to Oregon.
This is a great RV park! We enjoyed our stay here very much. Getting to the park from the Hwy 101 was easy. Fortuna is a very interesting town and is close to Eureka. There is some local truck traffic going by the park during the day. The rate we paid was the Good Sam rate.
This is a nice quiet park located 8 miles north of Crescent City. We enjoyed staying amongst the redwoods. Access to the park and the sites is good. The sites are not paved because they are in between the redwood trees. There is plenty of space to open your slides without worrying about the trees interfering. The staff was very friendly and nice. We would definitely stay here again.
