Perfect place to be based for a few days, while we explored the North-Western area of Nfld. (L'ans aux meadows, etc.) The laundry mat was hand too. Noticed a few sites seemed to have a "river view". Owners very friendly and accommodating.
Most of the sites are better for tents than trailers, and are dark due to the density of the woods that they are carved into. We were able to scout out a few nice more open sites (so I could use my Solar panels) and enjoyed our stay. The showers and bathrooms were clean and plentiful.
This is a low cost "self-registration" mini campground, that was perfect as a one nighter along the Cabot Trail. Located 15 km from Chéticamp, Corney Brook is a very small, oceanside campground with 20 unserviced sites. There are fireplaces and one washroom building with flush toilets, but there is no potable water on site. There is ocean swimming and hiking nearby. Payment is by self-registration.
