We loved the water area of the park, which is down on the lake. Tons of things to do and very enjoyable. We did not like the camp sites, too small and placed too close to each other. The traffic in the camp went on all night, along with very loud fellow campers, barking dogs, screaming kids, and pets running loose, which caused fights. Limited shade on our site and NO grass what so ever. We will not be visiting again.
We loved this campground. It is large, with green lawn areas and loads of trees, and it is well maintained. It was quiet and peaceful; you can hear the waves and water at night. The sites have various set-up options, some had lake views (prime), others were in deep shade, others were in the sun. They have a wonderful area for kids to play. We are going to make this an annual stop during the summer.
We were told that it was a shaded site, one 25' tree, on the site # 84. We spent our time moving our chairs to the spot with some shade. In fact there were eight sites next to us that did not even have any trees. Also the layout of the sites are awful, electrical problems were observed with three separate groups who had to relocate because the power was not working properly at their original site.
