There are very few level sites in this park; you need lots of leveling blocks. There are some 50amp sites available. Can be navigated with a big rig with caution. Bery wooded & hilly campground. Probably would return. Verizon 4g was 5mbps down .6mbps up.

We stayed here during state fair week. We were in an area of the campground that only had electric & cable. We couldn't get the cable to work. Sites were grassy with some soft spots. Navigating the roads with a large rv was challenging but doable. We would definitely stay here again

We camped here with a FMCA rally. Sites were level, but grassy. Was quite a ways from the camping area to the actual fairgrounds. Sewer dump was not accessible by a large motorhome. Thirty amp only was a pain when the weather was warm.

As the last review mentioned, this is a relatively new park. The GPS location of the street address was wrong. You need to go about 300 yards farther up the road. We arrived late (after the office was closed) and the manager came over to help us back into our site. Very nice park with full hookups. We will stay here again.

The prior comment about 50% of the sites being seasonal were correct. The park has a tremendous amount of activities for kids, rentals of bikes, etc. All of the golf carts were rented when we were there, but the manager let us use her golf cart so that we could get a good look at the campground. She was extremely helpful. There were plenty of lots open (Saturday night). Some of the newer sites for the larger rigs were level challenged. We will stop here again.

We have stayed here many times and just love this park. Although the big rig section is not near the water, the sites are gravel and fairly level. My Verizon 4G aircard attained download speeds of 30mbps and upload speeds to 15mbps. The rate was higher due to the reservation surcharge of $8.

We stayed here for a RV rally. We were parked on the infield of the track. The site was very close to neighbors. Wi-Fi was basically useless as they turned you off it you used too much bandwidth. Verizon 4g was exceptional. Will return. Restrooms were spotless.

This was an excellent park although a little tight for big rigs. Free shuttle service to the casino. When full the sites are pull in and back in. Pads are blacktop and relatively level.

Sites were grassy with just a few 50 amp sites. Sites were designed with horse trailers in mind. Lots of activity the weekend we were there. Price was for more than 30 amp power. Need good pads to keep from sinking into the ground. Most sites not very level front to back.

Grassy but solid sites. Verizon 4g was exceptional. I was here with FMCA rally so price is just a guess. They had over 1800 rvs here for the rally. Only had 30 amp power but full hookup. Water pressure was extreme -- blew the end off one of my hoses. Pressure reducers at the faucet are a must.

Again this is one of the nicest "big rig" parks in the MI state park system. We have stayed here many times and the park is always clean and well maintained. If you camp in the early spring, the rate is only $16.

This is one of the nicest state parks in the MI system. Big rig pull through sites are easy to pull in and leave and relatively level. Verizon has a cell tower almost next to the park so the cell phone internet signal is exceptional. Download speeds at 3G were in excess of 100k per sec. We stayed here 6 times this summer and will stay next year also.

Our RV was 38' and it was a challenge to negotiate some of the bends in the road. Only 4 sites for the big rigs. View of Lake Superior was tremendous. An old campground but nice. We will definitely stay here again.

The staff was extremely helpful in making sure that we got into our site. All the visitor sites had concrete pads for the picnic tables (and the tables were on the pads). Most of the sites are seasonals but they are all very clean and presentable. The location is hilly and very picturesque. We definitely will return. No credit cards but will take a check.

The S.C.I.T. stands for Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe. This was one of the nicest campgrounds that we have stayed at in the last 2 years. The sites were wide so you had an idea of spaciousness and didn't feel cramped by your neighbors. Free, on demand, shuttle service is available to the casino.

Although this park is listed as big rig friendly, you need to be very careful of the trees. It took a couple of 3 point corners for our 38 ft RV to successfully navigate the roads to our site. Exiting the park was extremely easy though. Large sites were very wooded and grassy. We were charged an extra $5 per night to run our air conditioner even though they only had 30 amp power. The price without the air was $30.

Very little shade available for big rigs. We had an "episode" when we went for a day cruise with our RV. We left the water hose hooked up when we left. When we returned about 4 hours later, the hose was missing. We located it under and along a permanent residents trailer across the road. This kind of problem will make sure that we never stay here again, and is the reason for our downgrade.

This is a very nice park, however, the lots are not level. They all slant toward the rear of the lot which makes it hard to level the coach. Also the sewer connection is at the rear of the lot. I had to use a 5ft extension on a 20ft sewer hose to reach the pipe. Other than those 2 items it is a great park. WiFi was the fastest I've seen in a campground so far.

Sites were level. The water hookup at our site was very close to the ground (about 1 foot). Very dusty. Excellent bridge view from some sites.

Excellent big rig sites in the west campground. Not quite as level as I like, but acceptable. Nice to have 50amp power in a state park. Harbor Haus and the Mariner are excellent eating places.

Although the site we had was marked as a big rig site, i had to go backwards down the road to access it. Nice bridge over the very busy highway to the beach part of the park. Cab service available for wherever you need to go. W-Ffi is available for a $6/day fee.

Although they list the sites as having big-rig access, they are but with difficulty. There are lots of trees and water fountains in the way. Park was very crowded. You need at least 50' of electric cord.

Camped here over Memorial Day weekend. The View of the Ships passing the campground was tremendous. Not more than 100 yards from our site. Wi-Fi was available but extremely slow.

The only reason that I downgraded this park was that you have to pay 25 cents for each 3 minutes of your shower. One of the men's coin operated shower was broken. We stayed here 2 nights and will stay here again.
