This is a very nice park with an excellent, friendly staff. The sites are large and level. Close to area restaurants, shopping Myrtle Beach is about 20 minutes away. The negatives are (1) no cable - that is OK because there are several digital air channels. however, (2) the Wi-Fi - though free, did not work at the sites. We were only able to access from the office one time. It is free Wi-Fi but if it does not work it does not matter that it is free. I'd rather pay and have good service. We would go back.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Brandywine Creek. Very helpful staff. Level sites with plenty of shade and space for our dog. CG is not new, but has been well cared for. Nice pool, a playground for kids, easy to walk. Cable TV connection is "basic" but WiFi connection is excellent! The fishing pond needs a bit of work. We followed our GPS and had a long, winding route from I-76/PA Turnpike: should have followed the owner's suggested route. In a 35ft. 5th wheel we had no problem with the turn into the campground. Marsh Creek is a wonderful state park about 20 minutes from this CG.
This park is a very short drive from I-75 but the traffic cannot be heard at the park. Close to shopping, Wal-Mart, etc. Corbin is the home of KFC and it is an easy drive to see the museum. Also about 30 minutes to Cumberland Falls Park. The park has new owners who were very nice. They have plans for better WiFi availability and easier access to the lake (now very hard to get to via a wooded path.) Sites are a bit close together but are very well kept. Excellent cable TV, but currently the WiFi was a bit "iffy" depending on the number of users. There is a large fenced area for dogs. The pool is nice too. If in the neighborhood we would stay here again.
Very large well run campground. Near many of the Amish area shops, etc. Sites are divided between two areas. The lower sites are near the shop, pool, pond, and activities buildings. The upper sites are a long way from those amenities. There is an upper area pool and spa. We were in the upper area and had a very large, level and very well shaded site. Good for us and for our dog. However, there was no wifi available (by one person I was told there would be, and by another, no, the upper area router was just not strong enough to provide a good signal.) There is limited cable. I do not know how well the lower level sites receive the wi-fi signal. If you can receive it there is a fee / 24 hour use. We might return and try one of the lower area sites.
First let me say this is a very nice, very well kept park. Good sized, level sites with easy access to hook-ups for electric, cable TV, water and sewer. Staff was very nice and helpful. I would have given a 10 except for(1) weak WiFi connection (but great cable!) and (2) the dog park was not easy to walk to. There is a public road to cross and the walk is a bit steep. (Hard to tell that from the site map.) We were hoping to be able to use the boat dock for kayak access, but that is not really possible either. We will go again and take the kayaks to the very nice public park that is only a 5 to 10 minute drive and has boat launch ramps.
If there had been shade - it would have been a 10. This is a very nice campground for going to the beach and vising the outer banks area. Concrete pad site are flat and no problems backing in. It is easy to connect to all utilities. Great cable and Wi-Fi. There are grassy areas for dog-walking. Several dumpsters for easy trash disposal (no site trash pick-up). We stayed in "Sound Side" area and had a view of the water. The beach is across the street with the "Ocean Side" sites," maybe a 10 minute walk for us.
Very friendly folks. A bit confusing on the site locations and getting in and out of some sites. Level areas and lots of shade. Be sure to bring extra lengths of water hose - some of the sites share with their neighbor. Roads are flat so it is good for walking, no golf cart needed. Nice area for dog walking. Wi-Fi worked well.
It was raining quite hard when we arrived and the water was a bit over the bridge, but the road was good and we arrived safely. We were given one pull-through site and got everything set-up. All utilities worked well - great cable and excellent wifi connection! The next morning we realized that space #19 was a bit snug for our 35 ft. camper with three slides. We spoke to the office folks and they gave us another site - easy to move through the park and get set-up again. This is an older park but it is well kept and the pool is beautiful! No fish in the pond, but it is nice to look at. The staff was very nice and they had a replacement tail-light bulb for the one we needed when we were leaving! We would return.
This was a very nice park. Lots of activities for family groups, fishing is free for campers. We stayed in a full-hookup back-in "lakeside" site. From our rear window there was a good view of the lake and the ducks but side neighbors were quite close. There is a $2/day fee for WiFi - less/day for a week or month. Our site was level and had easy access to utility connections. We did drive the long and winding road to the upper level sites - would not choose to stay in those. From the site map you cannot tell that there is a steep hill to access those sites. Overall we would stay here again - in this same are of the park. The fall or spring might be less crowded.
This is a wonderful place to get away. No pool or arcade but just a short walk to the New River Trail State Park. Very friendly people and the entire campground is very well taken care of. We will go back again.
This was a great stopping point. Very level sites and easy access to hook-ups. Cable and Wifi connections worked very well. Showers and bathrooms exceptionally clean. Their staff was friendly and very helpful. Signs made it easy to find - close to the Interstate exit but very quiet. Our dog liked the running (on leash) space. Not sure about the May review - must have been a different park. We will stay here again.
Quite a distance from the highway. Road winds up the mountain and sites are flat with good access to connections. We had an ATV and had fun driving in the area. if you do not have an ATV - a different campground might be a better choice. The vehicles are a bit noisy and are driven on the campground roads most times of the day.
