A very large park, located fairly close to Yellowstone (about ½ hour drive to get into the park). We were able to rent a car, and they picked us up, and came and got the car when I was done with it. It was a very busy place, but seemed well run and clean.
A distance away from the interstate (about 13 miles), but this park is located right on a well traveled road. Also there is a train track close by, and we had a few freight trains interrupt our sleep. Location is right on a very pretty river, with many trees in the area we stayed in. Owners were extremely nice, and seem to be working hard to improve this older park.
This park sits in the shadow of the freeway, after staying the previous nights in Zion, this was a big change from a beauty perspective. Overall it was a decent place, but with more concrete and asphalt than grass. The people were nice. Considering the location, I was surprised that traffic noise was not a big factor.
A beautiful setting inside Zion NP. Very hot in August (no surprise there). Nearby river was great for the family to play in and cool off. Access to the shuttle was nearby so we could see the park without moving the RV. Best place we stayed in our entire cross country trip.
