We stayed a week at this very nice campground. It has great staff, good WiFi, the cable TV selection was good but reception was snowy at times. Everything was nice and clean and well kept up. There was lots of area to walk a dog (but please clean up after them). We used this as our home base to see a lot of the sights within a 75 mile radius. The best value is the prison, car museum, and two other museums in Deer Lodge for only $9.00. It's close to a neat old town Philpsburg that has a great candy shop and numerous old buildings, and also close to Granite City ghost town. Would stay here again.
Stayed here a week. A great park, the cable TV selection was good, had good WiFi reception, lots of trees and a friendly staff. There is adequate space between sites. It's a big rig friendly, beautiful park with beautiful scenery all around. I would stay here again.
I have mixed feelings about this park. It is tight to maneuver a big rig. Some of the spaces are close together. It has friendly owners and staff, clean rest room and showers, and the best price on the laundry with big washing machines. I would stay here with a smaller rig.
The $28.00 a night is the weekly rate. We had lots of room to maneuver our 38' fifth wheel. The sites are long and ours was level, lot's of room between sites not cramped in like other places we have been. It's got a great big, fenced in dog run. We did not use the rest rooms or showers; did see the laundry facilities, was small for a big campground like this one. Our only complaint was the WiFi did not work in the area we were in, but our Sprint wireless card worked great. The cable TV has a good selection, we will stay here again.
Big rig friendly: we paid for a week and this is one of the best campgrounds we have stayed at. Has fairly level, pull through, nice grassy sites. They have back in sites near the river. Clean restroom and showers and free WiFi that worked great. It's close to a casino, and two others a little farther away. A well kept park. Will stay here again.
We been coming here for the last couple of years while visiting family, mainly because it is a Coast to Coast membership campground. It is not in the best of shape. The electrical outlets do need work, plus the sewer hookups are not the best. When it rains heavy, the place floods and gets very muddy. They have a lot of workers staying here but the many times we have stayed here, we have not had one bit of trouble with any of them. The staff is friendly, and they have a pool which is always clean. It is not the best place we have stayed, but it is not the worse place we have stayed.
We camped here in a 38' 5th wheel. This park is big rig friendly. One of the best campgrounds we have stayed at. We are with Coast to Coast so we only paid $10. a night. Had very friendly and fast check in; the room between sites was adequate; had free WiFi that worked great; the gravel site was almost level; there were trees galore; had great dog walking areas and great views of the mountains. It's close to Bear Country U.S.A., a great place to visit. We would stay here again. Also, please be considerate and pick up after your pet before owners will stop allowing dogs or start charging for them.
We camped here at the Coast to Coast rate plus $3.00 a night for 50amp. First the many good things about the park. The owners and staff are friendly and very helpful, they take pride in the park. It is very clean and well kept; the store has many wonderful items made in Montana not the cheap Chinese junk that are found in other campgrounds; they have a great book exchange and many free dvd and vhs that you can check out for free; the sites are long, big rig friendly; the laundry rates are reasonable; the scenery is beautiful; has grass sites with tables, gravel and level and free WiFi. Now the few bad things. The sites are close together, WiFi is spotty, and the mosquitos are bad. We would stay here again.
Very friendly staff. They escort you to the site and tell you where all the hook ups are. One of the cleanest restroom shower area we have ever seen. A no frill park. No swimming pool, but you get free WiFi. A pretty descent cable selection. A nice clean park with a friendly staff for only $17.00 on Passport America you can't beat it.
Stayed here before the busy season. A pretty nice park staff friendly, restrooms clean, when we stayed it wasn't to full but it looks like the sites are close together. Close to the great buffalo bill museum and restaurants. Will stay here again
