Outdoor resorts are a resort where you can purchase a site and they rent it out when you are not using it. They have beautiful golf courses, great sites, lots of activities, six or more swimming pools, small cafe and great club houses. Expensive but very well maintained. Even the ducks that came to dinner were very polite. Buying one of the sites here would be well worth the money.
Have heard about French Camp for years, so was excited to come here. Park is in poor shape. They have done a quick fix to keep people from driving over the grass corners of the sites. They painted huge rocks an ugly yellow color and put them on the corner of each site. Good way to wreck your rig. They could have put gravel or concrete in, and not put our rigs in jeopardy. Even the golf course is badly maintained. Reminds me a a park that has been covered with 5 feet of snow for the winter and just digging out. Is a shame because the park has some really nice attributes. Cafe service has good food, a little over priced but good. Sites are pretty level but very hard to get into with longer rigs. We will avoid this one after this.
