Passport America was accepted. Lots of park model homes and several rv sites throughout park. Very friendly folks at front desk. Back area was pet friendly. Several stores and eating areas within 2 miles. Would defiantly go back.
Very nice park. Close to commissary and PX. Large walking area with doggie bags located approximately every 75 feet. There are a few small trees but we were able to park the RV where we only go some morning sun through windshield. Laundry room was very clean and nice washer and dryers. Have both top and front load washers.
Like all said its a big parking lot with dry scape landscaping and a few big trees that provided shade. We stayed in site 218 and had shade most of the day. Several people didn't pickup after their pets. No doggie bags but no excuse. Located right across the street from Fire and safety HQ's so you did hear sirens a few times a day. We ran A/C and kept windows shut so not a problem for us. Felt safe and saw security drive through several times a day.
Very clean RV park. Very tight for big rigs but we camp in a 40' motorhome with tow and had no problems. If pulling tow unhook before pulling through campground. We've camped here before pulling a 5th wheel and we had to have our neighbors move their cars to be able to park. All facilities are clean and would rate higher if we had Wi-Fi. They tell you some sites are able to connect but we have never had luck. Our site didn't have cable and due to electric towers we couldn't even receive over the air channels. Very little to no shade. The majority of the dog walk area is a parking/storage area.
Very nice park and centrally located to all the shows and main drag. All the office folks are friendly. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Wi-Fi worked great. Will definably stay at this place again. I can't remember the exact rate we paid so the rate is estimated.
We stop by this park at least twice a year. The office folks are friendly and the park is easy access. You can fuel up right next door. We do not use any of the facilities but they look nice and clean. Great Wi-Fi and sites will accommodate pretty much any size RV. Nightly rate was based off of PA so it might be off a few $$.
I think the new name is Naples Gardens but there isn't a sign so you will miss the the RV park if your not careful. Older park but well taken care of. We pulled into our site and it was nice and shaded and lucky for us due to it only had 30 amps and temps were in the high 80's. I'm not sure if there are any 50 amps due to when I walked around I saw a lot of folks having to use a 50 to 30 amp plug adapter. Several sites for big rigs no problem but roads are narrow. We were told would have Wi-Fi at our site but we couldn't connect at all. Some park models for long term residents but very clean and tidy. Lots of areas to walk your pet.
Very old RV park. Laundry room clean but dryers are so old they don't dry very well. Sites on beach are very nice with a few small palm trees. The remaining sites are just layer out on grassy areas and some have shade. Lots of snowbirds so they have lots of stuff layer out all around their RV's that made it look very messy. Some sites have a lot of junk around them (boats and parts). Office folks are very nice. There is a wading area next to the fishing pier. Wi-Fi was terrible. Half the dog walk was used as a parking area.
Campground was very quiet and clean. We enjoyed our stay. It's right next door to Camping World and just down the road from a really nice casino. The rate is using our passport card. We would definitely stay here again.
Very nice park and would highly recommend. Park host was very friendly and helpful with info about the surrounding area. Great place if you have a dog due to there is a open field area with tall pine trees surrounding one side and the back side of the RV park. Great place to stay if you plan to go to the Grand Canyons. Most sites are level pull-throughs and are long enough even if you have a tow. The sites have full hook-ups and include cable. There is also a secure internet connection that works great.
We had a full hookup site. The only down size for us was no 50 amp but thank goodness it was cool and we didn't even have to use our AC. The park hosts are very friendly. My sister's family and two other families stayed at Gamble Oak Group site and it was very nice too. We would definably recommend this place...lots of birds, chipmunks, turkey, and other wildlife.
This RV park is run down and needs a lot of work. There are several full timers. RV sites are very close. Campground needed mowing and just a complete overhaul. We would have left if we didn't pay in advance and thankful we only paid for one night. Someone pulled in beside us and stayed only a few minutes and pulled out. The lady that runs the place is very rude!
One of the nicest RV parks we have stayed at. Each site has a picnic table and you have lots of space and nice areas to walk your dog. You can see the lake pretty much from each site. We stayed in a 38' Fifth wheel and had no problems parking and pulling our rig through the RV park. Great Wi-Fi service and we were able to get several digital channels using our antenna. We will definitely stay here again.
Very nice place to park your RV. All sites are concrete but plenty of grassy areas to walk your dog. All sites looked level and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Rated only a 8 due to no trees and no WI-FI available. They have the farmers market every Saturday and is really nice to walk through. Will definitely stay again due to there aren't too many areas in Norman for RV'ers.
Great RV park and easy access off the highway. We parked in a 38' fifth wheel and had no problems getting in and out. Staff very friendly and provide guide to your site. We stay at this site several times a year going back and forth to Florida. Very clean!
Cleanest RV park I've seen in our 10 years of RV'ing. There are several signs but they didn't bother us and I believe that's what keeps this park so nice. We had great WI-FI connection and we parked towards the back of the RV park. Lots of areas to walk dogs and they have dogie bags available. We parked in a 38' Fifth wheel and had plenty of space. Staff very friendly and a park host guides you to your site. Will stay here again!
