My husband and I consider ourselves more RV travelers than true campers. Hence, we appreciate RV parks that offer full hook ups, laundry, shower facilities, pet friendly, and close to the interstate and towns we are visiting along our journeys. When we find a KOA we feel rather confident our needs will met. This KOA is rather new and basic. It is located in a rural industrial park and I would not consider it particularly scenic. The sites were level and gravel with little grassy picnic areas between. We requested a pull through for our 40' class A with tow, but found we had to disconnect our car because of the sewer location. The lady who checked us in was very pleasant. The laundry was small but the machines were new and worked great. We saw people enjoying the pool. Our dogs really enjoyed a travel break in the fenced dog yard. The showers were new and clean. I would recommend this park for anyone visiting the Ashland area or for travelers needing a safe spot to stop for the night while in route to other places.
We were greatly relieved to arrive safely at the Stagecoach RV Resort which is located on the south side of Branson, a few miles from downtown. Being flat landers from Florida, the hilly roads and incorrect GPS directions had made for a tiring and stressful day. We were met at the office by a nice guy in a golf cart who quickly checked us in and escorted us to our convenient pull through site, which was level and concrete. Hook ups were easily accessible. The park like every thing in Branson was located on a hill but all sites were terraced and appeared level. The access roads were gravel. There were some trees and landscaping, but sites were a little close but the neighbors were friendly. There was a pool with what appeared to be a hot tub, but the water had been drained; I assume because of the season. The restrooms and showers were a little tired but private, roomy, and located conveniently in the office where the staff proved friendly and helpful. The was a shuttle available to take you to shows. The laundry was as others have previously mentioned, super nice with lots of washers, dryers and everything else to make that experience more enjoyable. The pet walking area was adequate and the fact that they had a pet groomer on the property was a huge perk to us. There was a little restaurant on the premises that served breakfast and lunch on certain days and hours, but those times never seemed to fit our schedule so can't say more. All in all our stay was pleasant and we would stay there again,
What a wonderful surprise and experience this campground was. The delightful hostess escorted us to our pond side patio pull through and was cheerfully available to us to answer any questions and gave us excellent dining recommendations. The camp itself was lovely with, as far as I could tell, nicely spacious and level gravel sites. Someone did an excellent job designing the layout of the RV sites and cabins on this hillside property, while maintaining its woodsy atmosphere. Our site was a deluxe site with a super paved patio, rod iron table and chairs, fireplace and even a hammock. It was located beside a nice pond and close to one of two shower/laundry buildings which were nice and clean. Our two dogs loved going for walks on the many hiking trails and the fenced K9 park was definitely a hit. It appeared to be a very nice camp for families with children as well. Pizza delivery was convenient and there was a little weekend breakfast restaurant on the property too. We would definitely stay here again.
