This campground is on Pensacola Beach, the inland side, and not on the gulf. It is new and clean. Quiet at waterfront sites. You can walk to the beach, restaurants, etc. Small kids' playground. It is next to big Ferris wheel. High prices and higher during holiday periods.
Dirt roads, many large shade trees, small one bathhouse for men and women with one shower each, dirt sites, beautiful views of Mobile Bay, friendly management, friendly guests, 10 miles from stores down a good highway, long pier. We will return.
Fine park. Office help not as polite as desired. Great buffet. Country singers set up on the covered pavilion. LOUD: until 8 p m. Would not stay near that area again. Will return. Well spaced, concrete, level, large park.
Many pines, making difficult dish access, but shaded. Smooth gravel roads that are dusty. There is a one mile long dusty gravel road to campground. It is quiet and clean. There is a playground and good management. Cell phone service is OK. There are long pull through sites, used as back to back for TWO RV's when there is enough business to require that. Campfires are OK.
On south side of intracoastal water.. boats and barges passing. New campground. No shade. Close sites. Clean, well managed. Pier, fishing, boat stalls. Campground was not fully open, so no pool or restrooms yet open, but withina few days of being ready. Great restaurant Trigger's nearby. At south foot of bridge over intracoastal from Pensacola...about 10 miles east of Gulf Shores.
