We pulled in at nearly midnight and expected the place to be closed. We were pleasantly surprised to find an outside "night desk" set up with happy staff. They helped us fill out the forms and showed us around the camp--even though it was late at night. They were very kind and generous. All sites were well maintained and the damage from a recent storm was taken care of.
This is an older camp village with 70% park models. The bathrooms have been remodeled. There are security issues. The residents have petitioned the owners for more park security, but have been ignored. Some residents have lived here for over 25 years and have no voice in the operations of the park. Management has a bunker mentality: "We know nothing. Don't ask us anything. If you request services, you are the problem. If you request answers, we don't have any answers." Many residents are unhappy and some fear for their safety.
