This Park was cetainly a gem and is still nice. The Staff is great. The owners follow up with a survey by email showing they care. 106 degrees during our stay. Power was fine A/C ran most of the time. The Swimming Pool and Spa are great. Location is where you can get to things without much trouble. However nothing is right there. Concrete slab. Saw some with grass and shade. We will return.
One of the nicest in the area. Grass & tree's with asphalt roads and concrete pads. Full hookups. Wi-Fi is very good and included for the first 14 days through Tengo. Managers are great, park staff very friendly. Summer pancake breakfast on weekends for a small charge and ice cream in the evening. Close to all. Very kid friendly. Not enough trash cans (they overflow on weekends). Pool finally opened on June 1. We will stay here again.
I arrived after hours and found a site. I used my circuit protector on the first power station, and it was miswired. The second worked fine, once I got around the wasps nest inside the box. Cable TV hasn't been connected for a long time by the looks of the cable. Sewers have no threads for a good connection as well as being located in the middle of the site so its necessary to crawl under the coach to connect. There are a few trees, and those sites don't seem to have as many stickers. Dish network and local TV worked well. Located close to downtown.
Used mostly as an overnight park its just off I-40 at the western most portion of town. Dirt roads. Price reflects Passport America price good for 2 nites. Camping World is next door for parts or service. Wi-Fi good. Over the air TV great. They have vintage restored travel trailers for spotted and hooked up for motorists to rent, furnished with old blankets towels etc.
Nice park, new ownership since i was here a few years ago. The new owner is very accommodating and tries hard. Wi-Fi slow Quiet and centrally located to Sedona and Prescott. We rode the Clarkdale train, it was great. Many full timers living in the park. We found them friendly and their sites clean. Restrooms & showers & laundry spotless. We will stay here again.
Very nice find! Quiet with great desert vista's. Only 7 miles from town for supplies and 3o miles from Scottsdale. Camp Hosts were great on site. Not so helpful by phone prior to arrival. Restrooms & Showers are some of the cleanest i have seen. This is important since there are no sewer hook ups. Dump station on-site. Bring your own shade.
Nice and quiet, in town and close to all. There are 3 distinct parts of this park. The new section is very nice with all travelers. The other two sections not so nice. I would not be comfortable in one of them. The management was great. Bend is wonderful and exploring the area from here is great.
Very comfortable park, the owners do their level best to help you enjoy the surrounding area. Park is clean and neat grass at each site and in front of your RV right on the rivers edge. Cell phones do not work here which we found to be nice, however if you must make a call a phone is provided in the office. Lot's to do, Fishing, Exploring, and 4 wheeling. A small store & cafe next door. Bring your groceries. Completely enjoyed our 2 week stay, we will be back.
Passport America saved $$. Nice clean older park. Several Park Models, yet plenty of spaces available, many are pull-throughs. Wi-Fi was free strong signal. Three pools: all the right temperature. Two spas: both were nice. BBQs available at all public areas. Clean laundry rooms, and each with 6 machines. No picnic tables! Operators were extremely helpful. For a Palm Springs area park, with the PA discount, this is a very nice park. Great workout room.
Kid's this is your place! There is an indoor Pool & spa. There is a free pancake breakfast. There are free movies each night. A jumping pillow accommodates 20 kids at a time. There is a small (tiny) golf course. There are bike and trike rentals. There is a great WIFI signal. It is a huge park. There are lots of camping cabins and tent sites. Beautiful Trees restrict Satellite signals. There are pull through sites up to 90 feet. It is across the street from Fort Stevens state park. There are loads of bike trails and interesting history. I did not use cable. I did not use laundry. There is trash pick up each morning at your site.
Nice Park! Cape Kiwanda is home to the Dory fleet. They launch and retrieve on the beach just across the street. Shaded site so unable to obtain a satellite signal. WiFi great until it rained and everyone slowed it way down. Great store fresh fish, and a Pizza resturaunt in the parking lot. Coffee is adjacent. Nice indoor pool, spa, and gym. Very nice for kids, with bunny's running around everywhere. Drive your tow vehicle on the beach and have a fire as you watch the sunset.
Very nice. I think this is a county park. Clean with a river for canoe's and fishermen right in the park. All new hook up (Monuments) 50amp and 30amp. WiFi was a bit weak at #17 but I was able to do what I needed. Located 2 miles north of town, it has the feel of being much further away.
Wow! This is one everyone should visit. All has been said about the landscape and beauty. Trams are almost every 10 minutes to the Casino which is pretty far away. Bought Diesel at the truck stop down the way (also Seven Feathers) and saved some $. If I can find anything negative, it would be the speeds driven in the park by my fellow campers. Where are these people going in such a hurry driving a 30,000 lb vehicle? The interior roads are so well maintained and paved these guys drive like they are in an open wheel race car.
Have stayed here in the past. This park has grown and in talking to the other campers, I'm not sure for the good. Still it's clean and fairly quiet. Located in the middle of nowhere. I made the mistake of leaving cash in a sealed envelope and dropping it in the night box. Don't do that. Pay up in the morning. There's no TV reception. Satellite is good.
A nice park! It's very clean: each site has a small tree (park is only 5 years old), astro-turf grass and a table. There's no cooking over the turf as the grease will burn holes. There's asphalt roads with concrete pads for parking. Wi-Fi is good (included). We camped near the middle of the park with a low signal. The pool and spa were clean and there's a nice laundry room (did not use). Restaurants and a market are within 1 mile. Incredible sporting goods store is one mile away (Scheels). Don't speed on the road leading to the park: 20 mph.
Charlie was very nice on the phone. Enjoyed my 2 weeks here. No laundry you have to drive down the street a few blocks. The small pond is stocked for the kids. Gravel roads with trees. Lot's of animals kept in the back for the kids to see. Very friendly park. Not much to do in town. But close to several attractions and a great base camp.
Cable down due to a problem with the company. Very windy in April. One day it blows the next day it's calm. All gravel. Nice spa, pool clean. Owners were polite.Work Campers were extremely nice. The advertised Saturday Breakfast is a mile down the road at the VFW hall. Incredible view of the high desert when cactus is in bloom. Great WIFI.
Very Nice Park, Shade available however I came in without a reservation. Entirely run by workcampers, the owner is on premise, but stays out of the way. Very nice folks and a beautiful location. Lot's to do in the area especially if you have children. Some pull thru's and some 50 amp. Wifi works average. Pancake breakfast on weekdays, weekends full breakfasts are served. BBQ Friday & Saturday night.
Right on the side of the Hwy. They run a nice old restaurant in the park. The water was broken during my stay as was the Wifi. The wind blew so hard for 3 days that I packed up and left in the night during a lull. Across the street from a Walmart. If you get my drift.
Very nice Park! Clean and nice. Has it's own Lake (Catch & Release) Facilities are top notch. In the country but a few minutes drive to Fort Collins. Wifi works great, cable very good channels. Nice Folks. New Tree's so not much shade.
Overnight only! Actually located in Bar Nun north of Casper on I-25, It's very desolate. Most of the "Regulars" are parked up near the Main building. I never saw anyone near those rigs. The new short time people are parked out in the "Overflow" type area. Hook ups include electric and water with no sewer. Dump station is near the office. Shade is sparse in this area. Trips to the market or restaurants are in Casper approx 7 miles away. Wifi works well, Cable has many channels.
