Sites are so unlevel had to use blocks under my tires to even get close to level. The cement pads very broken up. Cable TV very snowy. Wifi in am worked fine but after 6 pm would not work at all. I really believe the Good Sams should review this camp ground and take it off the list.
Nice park close to beach. Entrance is hard to find and quite a dip to get in from the street. Very sandy in the park. Expect lots of sand to enter your rv. Pool was closed. Sites are close together. There are no pull-thru sites here. People were nice.
Large park and close to the action. The parks internet is poor and works less than one half the time. Cement pads are cracked and falling apart. The maintenance in the park is poor and the maintenance men sit around doing nothing. Dogs bark constantly from a trailer park next door. Night and day they bark. People at desk very nice but some seem confused about daily operations of the park. This RV park really needs updating and renovation. Good Sam park needs to look at this one.
Has pull through sites. Was muddy where we camped and we got lots of mud on our shoes. Or it could have been dog waste, not sure. People were nice. Is a fine stop over for one night, but would not stay for long.
This is a perfect stop over camping spot on the way up north or down south. Stayed here on a long drive from Michigan to Gulf Shores, Al. Very friendly manager. Sites are clean, level, and have all the hookups you need. Very easy access from I -65 . Just off the exit and close to I-65. I would say the park manager went out of her way to help me with a part I needed for my RV toilet. I will stay here again on future trips. The pull thru spots are great but they do fill up early so make a reservation for these. Very easy to do with a KOA website.
This is the second stay at the Best RV park in America. The staff is very friendly. Always willing to go that extra mile. Escort you to site in golf cart. They have planned daily activities and even free food at times. Nice pool, hot tub and easy to get to the beaches, shopping and restaurants. Sites are beautiful and well kept. Some have tables at site others do not. Grounds are immaculate and even has a dog park to walk your dog.
Camped here in a RV 40' class A. Big rig friendly, it is not. Clipped the tree upon entrance to the hairpin turn to our site. Very hard to get into the site. Would not take our Good Sams discount due to the "Season". Sites are poorly maintained. Owners staff very unfriendly and not helpful. Seemed very upset that I nearly smashed my right side of my RV on their Tree. Which I did not! I would not recommend this park to anyone. Never did find a Big Meadow?
We spent 2 weeks here. This is the best well kept luxury park. Management and all the others were helpful for anything you need, from restaurant selection, to faxing forms back to my Michigan office. The club house has a 10 foot projector TV and Bose sound system, with bar, seats and couches. There is a gas outdoor fire pit, Hot tub and infinity swim pool. Pads are painted brown with a side cement patio for your use. Very quiet at night. All hookups: water (good pressure), cable TV with many channels. Palm trees in abundance and grass landscaping elsewhere. They have wine and cheese parties: Monday was Martini day, water aerobics, exercise class. Gated RV access to park. Fountains in the lakes can be seen from all lots. There is no sales pitch to try to get your to purchase a lot. But after staying here your just might want to buy one! It was very easy to get to the beach and all the shops. Very close to the Outlet Tanger mall.
