This is a gem of a park for $12/night. Sites are large, level and plenty of space between sites. It is very clean and peaceful. The museum is worth a visit as well as a few other sights in town to visit. Camp hosts were very friendly. We stayed a week and would return again if in the area.
This is an older campground but it is clean. Sites are rather close together, but we were there when it was not too crowded & asked for a site away from the crowd. The site was a short walk to the beach. We stayed a week & would stay again during the off season.
This is a wonderful campground in the state park. Sites are large with plenty of space between sites. Restroom/showers were very clean. Sites fill up quickly with locals, so make reservations early. There are plenty of hiking trails and a nice boardwalk to the beach. We would stay here again.
This is a very nice campground in a beautiful state park. The place is very clean. Sites are large with plenty of space between sites. No-see-ums were bad in the morning and at night so take bug spray. We would stay here again.
This is a very nice clean RV park with large clean restrooms & showers. Laundry rooms are very clean with plenty of washers & dryers. Nice clean swimming pool. Concrete roads with concrete pads that have grass & shrubs between sites. We stayed a week & would stay again.
Campground was large, very clean, and landscaped nice. We had a pull-thru with a concrete pad. Sites were large with plenty of room to park your vehicle beside your rig. The site was level. Management was nice. We would stay here again.
Rate is Passport America. This is a very nice peaceful RV Park. The caretaker is a very nice person & very helpful. The sites are well maintained & there is plenty of space between RVs. The park is landscaped with flowers, there are 2 ponds & walking trails. Most occupants are long term & they keep their sites & trailers very clean & they are very friendly folks. There is not much to do in the area, but it was a good place for us to gear down & we enjoyed walking to the pond and feeding the fish. We stayed a week & would stay here again if in the area.
Price reflects Passport America. This is a jewel of a small RV Park. All hook-ups, clean, plenty of space between RV's. It is very peaceful with the sound of the stream, there is very little road noise. Close enough for nearby attractions. Owner is very nice. We would stay here again if in the area. Note: there are no restrooms or showers.
Price is senior pass. This is a beautiful well maintained clean COE campground. The gate attendants & camp host were all very nice & friendly & you could tell they enjoyed being there. Campers were also very friendly. The restrooms/showers were old but very clean. We would stay here again.
Rate reflects senior pass. This is a very nice COE campground, sites and campgrounds were very clean, as well as the restrooms and showers and laundry room. I loaded the washing machine and put money in and the machine did not work. I reported this to the gate attendant and was told they weren't responsible for the machines and was told the lady that owned the machines would be by to see me. I suggested they put a note on the machine stating it was out of order and again was told it was not their responsibility. I never saw the lady that owns the machines and on our last day, there still was not a sign in the laundry room. It wasn't about the money, but rather the fact the machine did not work and they could have posted a note that it did not work so other campers would be aware. We did like the campground so we would stay here again if in the area.
Price reflects senior pass. We enjoyed our 9 day stay here. Campground is very nice & clean, lawn is manicured. The road in the campground is narrow & so are some sites, took several tries to back in. Restrooms/showers are very clean, they could use some ventilation. The older lady at check in was very grumpy but gave her the benefit of the doubt & thought she was having a bad day. Second time we had to deal with her she was just as bad. Never saw her smile once the whole time we were there & she never returned a hand wave. Other than that we would stay here again if in the area.
This is a nice COE campground. We were satisfied with the site, but disappointed in the restroom facilities. There are only two restroom facilities and only one of those had 2 very small showers. The restroom facilities were not filthy, but could use some updating. Staff at check in/check out were very nice and helpful. We would stay here again if in the area.
Rate reflects senior pass. We stayed for a week and thought this was one of the best COE campgrounds we have stayed in. Restroom and showers were spacious and very clean. Campsites were spacious and clean. Host were on duty and working. We would stay here again if in the area.
Price reflects monthly rate, electricity is extra. Nice RV park with large sites; restrooms & showers were very clean. Owners are very nice, hardworking people. We would stay here again if we would be able to get a site further back in the park away from the road noise.
This is a beautiful campground in the National Forest. Price reflects Golden Age Pass. The campground is very clean and quiet. Site was large enough for our 36ft fifth wheel. We stayed 5 nights. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again, if in the area.
This is a nice quiet campground & the staff are very friendly & helpful. Restrooms/showers were very clean. We chose to stay in a site not by the river because it was cheaper but had the pond to look at. We would stay here again.
Rate reflects Senior Pass. This is a very nice quiet campground in the San Juan National Forest. Haviland Lake is great for trout fishing. Site was large enough to get our 36 foot fifth-wheel in, clean site with fire ring & picnic table. We had 50 amp electric & had no problems. Vault toilets were clean, there are no showers. Would definitely stay here again.
Nice clean park on the edge of town. RV park is quiet. Sites were large & level with plenty of room to maneuver the RV. Restrooms & showers were very clean. Owner was very nice & helpful. Will stay here again if in the area.
Very crowded, but price was right compared to the alternative. Clean restrooms/showers. Convenient for visiting Glen Canyon Dam, Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon. Wi-Fi was very slow & intermittent. Would stay here again if in this area.
Campground is clean and the sites are wide and level. Restrooms/showers were very clean. The only down side is the traffic noise from Highway 9, even late at night. Management was very nice and helpful.
Nothing fancy but clean and the price was right. We stayed for a week so paid for 6 nights, and the 7th night was free. Good location for visiting Bryce & Red Canyon. Restrooms and showers were very clean, and the management was very nice. Traffic noise at night was not bad. We would stay here again.
Very nice, clean & quiet RV Park with pull through sites. It sits back off of the road, so you don't hear any road noise. Staff is very nice. Gift shop has very nice items with low prices. I used the beauty salon to get a hair cut & they did a great job. We stayed 5 nights & would stay here again if in the area.
Very pretty state park with large spacious sites. Restrooms/showers were clean. We stayed 4 nights and would stay here again if in the area. The only down side of the park is the train noise at 11pm, 3am & 5am.
The bad: We don't like staying at KOA's because we feel they are overpriced but due to a car show the other RV parks were full. They need to trim the branches on the trees, I saw one RV get hung up on a branch. Sites are dirt; roads are dirt, very narrow, and difficult to navigate. The good: Since it does sit back off of the highway we did not hear any road noise at night. It is a good location for visiting the National Parks.
This is really the only campground in the area, so it is overpriced. It is clean, and the restroom/showers are clean. The sites are tight and on an incline and close together. Views are pretty, and it is quiet at night.
This is a very pretty state park campground. I would not recommend it for big rigs. Ours is 36 feet long, and we had difficulty backing in a spot, and there are some tight curves. They need to do a better job of trimming the tree branches. If we had a smaller RV we would return.
Nice clean and quiet state park campground with large and long pull-through sites. Nice covered picnic tables. Restrooms/showers were clean. This is the desert so there is a lot of dirt when the wind kicks up. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again when in the area.
This is a beautiful state park. The canyon & the drive through the park is stunning. We saw numerous deer when driving through & saw the bison. Campground is very nice & sites are level. Lots of hiking trails. We will return.
This is a beautiful state park, very clean & very quiet. We stayed in the Eastside Campground & had it to ourselves for 2 nights. Sites are large & lots of space between sites. Saw lots of deer. Park staff is very friendly & helpful. We would stay here again.
Beautiful campground! Park staff does a great job of keeping the campground clean. We saw them sweeping the pebbles off of a pad next to us. We spent 4 nights here, great place for star gazing & sunsets are beautiful. Very peaceful & quiet. We would return here when in the area.
Rate reflects 3 month stay. We spent 3 months here during the winter. Park is very clean, sites are large enough to park your vehicle next to your rig. There are lots of activities & events going on in the park. We would stay here again if we spend the winter in Yuma.
Another beautiful Arizona State Park. Some sites are difficult to get in with a big RV, some pull-through sites are steep. Not a lot to do if you don't have a boat, but there are some hiking trails. Clean restrooms/showers. Stayed 5 nights & would stay again if in the area.
Beautiful state park. Campground is large, sites are level and long, lots of room between you and your neighbor. Restrooms/showers are very clean. Good hiking trails. Beautiful sunsets. We stayed 5 nights and will return when in the area. The only reason I did not give it a ten is because of no sewer.
Sites were bigger than average; nothing fancy, but clean & very quiet. It is very dark at night which makes it great for star gazing. Manager was nice. Good location for visiting Big Bend NP and Terlingua. Would stay here again.
This is a very nice clean RV Park. Streets are paved and the sites are level with pea gravel instead of crushed limestone which makes it nice that it does not get tracked into the RV. Lawn is very lush. Close to all the attractions downtown. We stayed four nights & will stay here again when in the area.
Very nice quiet park with very few campers. Sites are level & large space between sites. A perfect place for star gazing and at night you can hear the coyotes howling. Restrooms & showers are clean. Good hiking trails. Lake was low due to the drought. We were only going to stay 3 nights but extended the stay to 6 nights. Will stay here again when in the area.
Good for an overnite or two stay. Park is clean & restrooms are clean. Staff was nice. Right off the interstate & in the flight pattern of the airport, but we cranked the fan on high at night to drown out the noise. Would stay here again.
This is a small clean park. We were only going to stay one night but ended up staying two. Good location for visiting Death Valley. Lady working check in was very nice & took us to our site. The park was not crowded & we liked the idea of them leaving an empty site between each RV that was there. We enjoyed our stay & the fact that it was $20. There is highway noise but we cranked the fan on high at night to drown out the truck noise. We would stay here again.
Place is clean and quiet. Very dusty, and the sites are close together. This is out in the middle of nowhere with no cell service. Hook-ups are at the back, making it inconvenient. Would probably not camp here again.
The good: Nice clean park, volunteers are very nice and hard working. Owners sponsor Sat and Sun morning coffee, muffins and cinnamon rolls, and Saturday night hot dog and smores with a bluegrass band. Price was for a 3 week stay, they charge extra for 50 amp. The bad: We could not get cell phone service with Verizon, on-site Direct TV did not work, hard to set up satellite due to trees, traffic noise. Would stay here again as the location is close to sights to visit.
I have never been in a cleaner RV park. The manager and his wife are very hard workers and take pride in this park. They are very friendly and make you feel welcome. The same goes for the owner. Sites are level, hook-ups are good, and you have room to move around outside. Beautiful grounds with beautiful teepees, nice area for tents and a nice swimming hole. Restrooms are spotless. We stayed for a week, and if in this area again we well stay here. Would recommend this park for anyone in the area.
Park is very clean and quiet except for road and train noise. Lady working in office was very nice. Pull through sites are very narrow and close together. Difficult to walk around your RV with the narrow sites and a slight hill where connections are, easy to twist your ankle. Not a bad park if sites were just bigger.
We stayed here a week so price reflects weekly rate along with Good Sam Discount. We really enjoyed this place. Sites are very spacious, park is clean & quiet. The layout & the roads are good. We were backed up to the canal & enjoyed seeing the Lilly pads & not having to look at another RV. We travel full time, & it is not very often we come across such a nice RV park. Staff was very nice. The reason for a 9 & not a 10 was the wi-fi is slow. If in the area again we would stay here.
Clean & quiet RV park. Sites are close together but have enough room for slideouts & awning. We were only going to stay for a week, but ended up staying for two weeks. Drawback is 30 amp. View of the bay is beautiful. Would stay here again.
Very clean campground. Sites are close together, and due to new sod, ground stayed soggy at our site. Campground was quiet and restrooms and showers are the cleanest I have seen. Stayed for 5 nights and would stay here again.
Very peaceful and quiet place to stay. Owners very friendly. Restrooms, showers and laundry room are clean. Restaurant meals are excellent. We stayed here for a month so rate was cheaper. Would stay here again.
Small clean campground. Sites are small & close together. Pads are thick gravel. Rained a lot while there so it stayed muddy most of the time. They will let you wash your RV at no charge. Frontage road with easy access to I-90. Owners are very friendly & accommodating. Only negative side is the highway noise & constant train noise. Price was right so we would stay here again for a short time if we are in the area.
Excellent campground. We stayed for nine nights. Owners are very friendly. Park is quiet & full of deer. Plenty of space between RVs. Restrooms, showers & laundry are very clean. Will stay here again when in the area.
Very nice campground with easy pull through sites. There is a water faucet for you to fill your fresh water tank. Restrooms are very clean; although, there are no showers. You have views of the Badlands. Would camp here again.
Beautiful clean campground. Staff are very efficient; water connection was dripping & they repaired within 30 minutes. Clean restrooms, although shower drains did not drain well, water was standing in dressing area. Would stay here again.
Beautiful state park. Limited 50 amp/sewer. 30 amp sites are small & not level. Lots of hiking trails, beautiful waterfall. 20 miles to nearest town for groceries. Several miles of steep curvy roads. Would camp here again.
Beautiful state park! Had lake-front site, steps going down to lake. Welcome Center at park is very nice with several fish tanks stocked with fish from the lake. Park staff was very friendly. Would camp here again.
Nice park. Stayed for three weeks. Sites are a little tight to get parked if you're in a large rig due to trees & narrow streets. Have plenty of activities. Lots of seasonal residents. Restrooms were very clean. Owners are nice. Would stay here again.
