Someone said this was a gem of a park and they were right on. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from the great welcome at the office to the nice camp host. Super quiet with beautiful vista views. We will definitely stay here again on our way back home.
What a difference a few months makes. We stayed here last December and our stay was okay. Now this park is over crowded with full timers and few spaces for overnighters . The $30 price is Good Sam. For that you get no Wi-Fi or cable. We were only able to get one channel using our digital antenna. I don't think we will ever return.
We stayed here for three nights. We originally reserved a pull-through site on line. However the reservable sites only have 30 amp service. Note: there are large 2-foot high rocks that make leaving a site somewhat difficult. Be careful in these sites. The campground host was very helpful and allowed us to move to a 50 amp site. The site was tight for our 44' but it was pull-through and we parked our toad next to it. Good Wi-Fi. We would stay here again if in this area.
We stayed here overnight after picking up our new RV. We chose this campground based on earlier positive reviews. The reviews were right on. This is a very nice campground with very easy access for our 45' rig with a tow. We were not able to pick up any worthwhile TV channels just using our antennae but that wasn't a major issue. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in this area.
We stayed here three nights while visiting various local attractions. This is a very nice RV park with good facilities. I wasn't sure what the differences were in the sites but the $cost even with the Good Sam discount seemed high given that others paid a lower price. There was a RV wash area that we didn't use but was a nice touch. My wife liked how quiet the park was. We would return if ever in this area again.
We spent three nights here while getting work done at the local Camping World. Nice park overall. Even though we were parked right next to the entry gate, there was little or no annoying noise at night. I moved our toad away from the back of our RV because of concern for entry vehicles. We might come back the next time we are in the San Marcos area.
We stayed here for two nights on our way south. Very quiet with adequate space between sites. We would come here again. There appeared to be only four sites for our 40' pulling a toad. The lady handling the site was extremely helpful with directions.
We spent one night on a shake down trip for our new RV. As stated earlier, the sites are wide with easy access. They do take credit cards. We tried the burritos in the morning and they were very good. Nice store with good but minimum essential items. They also have propane available. We would return if ever the need arose again.
