Because of the last posting on this site we chose to come here. We are very happy we did. Large sites, good big rig access, washing the coach and toad is okay, satellite friendly, good water and power. A true northwoods experience. The lake is very pretty and does not reflect its name - Mud Lake. General store in the area is well stocked as is the local farmer's stand. This is a great place to spend a few days or weeks. For families it seems fine with swimming in the lake being a favorite. We hope to return soon.
Comfortable picturesque CG located outside of Perce, and half way to Gaspe. Hillside sites have a nice view out to the ocean and all sites are close to the beach. Access to the hillside sites is steep but okay. Water pressure is the only problem we encountered and it was okay. Their decks and fireplaces on the hillside sites are very nice. Walking distance to a small restaurant. Satellite friendly. Big rigs (like us) do come here and enjoy the CG.
Very well run with excellent access for big rig. View to water is great. Closest park to NFL ferry even tho at least one of the guides refuses to list it as North Sydney but does include a competitor that is at least 5 miles further away. We stored our rig and took the toad to NFL and stayed in the rig here for one week too. John pointed me to a mechanic that did a very good job in a very timely fashion. We will stay here when we are back in the area.
With a large motorhome this is a nightmare. We got in, but I would not come back due to the difficulty of getting in and out. For small to mid-size rigs and campers this would be a very nice and convenient spot, just not for us. Owner is very friendly and helpful.
Had just recently opened for the season. Staff still needed training that the manager seemed incapable of providing. Now owned by ELS and apparently only gives discounts to 1000 trails members, and no longer accepts Good Sam. This should be verified as confusion reigned in the office. Good access and Sats. were no problem. The park had been rebuilt and the facility looked very nice. Its seven tier price structure was very confusing.
A pleasant place with good power on its very limited number of full hook-up sites. It does get pricey when you add the cost of the daily park entry fee of $7. Sat dish worked fine and probably would in 50% of the full hook-up sites. Access was good for big rigs and spacing between sites appeared fine.
