Typical KOA. Shaded pull-throughs. Clean facilities. Close to restaurants and Fredericksburg. Road to park is narrow and twisty. Good for overnight, or weekend. Pool was dirty and laundry room was not clean and smelled.
Right off highway, so some noise at night. Just stayed overnight. Typical KOA: pull thrus and back ins, wooded sites. This would be a good spot for a nature lover, trails etc. facilities were clean. Pull thru we had was long and we didn't need to unhook . Would recommend as overnight or for weekend.
Spent 3 nights in May. Staff friendly and helpful as we did not reserve spot. We could not get spot with concrete pad, but there were lots of available spaces on grass only. Most trailer spots are close to ocean. Lot size is adequate, roads a bit narrow and maneuvering is a bit difficult even though all pull thrus. Facilities are clean and there's lots to do. A good family campground. Mostly local people who weekend and they were not very friendly at all. Close to Myrtle Beach attractions. We would recommend as we checked other campgrounds and this one seemed the best.
Stayed 2 nights while visiting Corvette plant & museum which is in close proximity to park (8.5 miles). Lots are mostly large pull thrus with picnic table and fire pits. Water and sewer and WiFi were good, however, park has limited cable stations. Lot's to do at park itself and we would recommend.
Lovely park on banks of Mississippi. Basics available, water, electric, sewer. No cable, but antenna works very well. Pull thrus have lots of room. Basically, park is divided in 3 sections, a field, a field with some trees, and another section with lots of shaded area. Barges go up and down Mississippi, we found that interesting and did not mind the motors at all. First campground we ever stayed at with free laundry and lots of new washers and dryers. Weather was hot and sunny and we really liked this park. Great for anyone to overnight or spend a week, or 2, only 15 mins from downtown Memphis.
Nice park on hill. Pull thru we had was long and level, right across from laundry. We stayed for 3 days en route home to Canada. Lovely park, very quaint. Fire pits, picnic tables and lots to visit in Hot Springs. We would definitely recommend. Best KOA so far
Older park, layout nice, but needs upgrading. Laundry and baths/showers clean. Close to attractions, Shopping, and only 6 miles from baseball and football stadiums. Staff friendly and courteous. Lots of permanent residents in older units. Would recommend park, not the best, not the worst
Older park. Well maintained, facilities clean. Close to San Antonio attractions. Great bike, walking trail next to park. Staff friendly and helpful. Good Mexican restaurant directly across the street. People staying at park were not particularly friendly. Would recommend this park for short term stay.
Beautiful, park best ever. Close to stores. We stayed in 600 circle pull thrus. Most winter Texans were gone. This is the nicest park we've stayed in. Wide roads, green spaces. In winter would be lots of activities. Great place to winter. Washrooms and laundry clean. All positive about park, very pet friendly. Only negative is smell from sewer.
Beautiful, clean, large lots, pull-through, and back-ins, family park. Stayed for 2 weeks. Resort like feel. Lots of spaces available through the week. Weekends full of locals, as their destination weekend park. Quiet during the week. More noise on weekend but everything quiets down by 9:30. 2 laundries. Wi-Fi very spotty. Would highly recommend this park for short or long term stay.
Under renovations to cable and sewer. Management quick to explain why park in process of upgrade. Streets are narrow, lots of sand burrs in the grass. Pull-through at front of park for overnight and short term. Management continually improving. Older park, but not the worst park we have ever stayed at. It's clean, but dated. We would stay here again.
Older park. Well maintained. Across the road from nice beach. Extremely pet friendly. Accommodating management. Clean, lots to do in area. Horseback riding besides park. 1/2 hr from lots to do in Galveston. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys the beach, due to proximity.
Park is exceptional, clean, wide roads, 2 pools and lots of things to do. Short walk to hwy 98 where there are lots of attractions, restaurants. Short drive to the beach. A true luxury resort, backs ins and pull thrus, with special section just for large Motor Coaches. Cable is an extra 2.50/day. Although we found the price high it was in line with amenities in the area. We would definitely recommend this park.
Stayed one night as overnight park opened Mid April. Lots uneven, lots of trees, state of disrepair. In the middle of the campground badly run down vacation cottages. Not an impressive park. No Internet at site, no cable. Water and sewer were available. Stayed thru passport America discount. Would not stay there again. There are lots of campsites in the area. On the plus side, park is close to beaches.
We had an overnight stay here. Lots of sites were available. Large sites, well spaced. Early in the year so some amenities were not open such as the pool, playground. During peak season this would be an excellent family camping spot. Not too far from I-84. Store was well stocked with lots of goodies. The only negative thing would be price. $63 is a bit high for this time of year and KOA does not accept any discounts such as Good Sam, AAA.
Stayed 2 nights. Close to Gettysburg attractions which were great. Staff friendly. Park is clean and well maintained. Lots of pull through sites. As we camped in April there were lots of spaces available. Within driving distance to Hershey. Lots spacious.
Stayed one night. Was KOA. Staff friendly. Store and take out on site. Lots were level. Scenic trails in park which were great for dog walking. Very picturesque park. Park is clean and family friendly. Road into park is narrow with lots of turns, maybe hard to manoeuvre in a large bus. We had no problem with 5th wheel. Would recommend.
RV park is approximately 3 miles from Bristol Speedway. Park is very well kept. 25 and 35 ft wide sites were available. Park is located on a hill. Main road is paved and wide. Sites are gravel with lots of room to back into. Nice dog park and river across the street, which is for park guests. Very impressive facilities, clean bathrooms, showers, and laundry. Great place in the hills of Tennessee. Would recommend.
Close to Tallahassee attractions, with lots of restaurants and major chains within short distance. Park itself is in need of a facelift, but has good structure. Good for overnight stay. Staff friendly and helpful.
We stayed here for 1 week with a Sun Resort first timers coupon for $125. Sites are large and on concrete pads, mostly extended stays. Park is nicely laid out with modular homes on one side and RV's on the other side. Park staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Residents are also very friendly. Lots of things to do in immediate area. Beach is just a short drive from the park and lots of shopping near by. We've been traveling through Florida and this is one park we would definitely consider staying at for one month.
Stayed at Groves in 24' travel trailer for one week. Park is old, sites are small, and most of the sites are seasonal homes. That being said, staff was very friendly, residents were also friendly, and there were lots of activities available. Proximity to local attractions made the stay very enjoyable. We would consider returning for a short period, but would not consider a long term stay at this park as there are other resorts in the Fort Myers area.
Stayed here for 2 weeks through Passport America discounted rate. The park itself is very nice, facilities are extremely well maintained, and staff takes great pride in ensuring guests are happy. Easy access to park off Highway 27. Only downfall is not with the park itself, but the location is quite a distance from shopping, etc. There is an IGA Grocery Store in Moore Haven which is about 7 miles away and a Walmart Supercentre in Clewiston which is 23 miles away. Great place for anyone who enjoys a country setting. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again.
The park is in need of care. The sites are small and hard to get into. There are a lot of permanent residents and the snow birds are not welcoming to strangers. The park has over 150 stray cats wondering around and if you like to listen to cats fighting at night, this is the place for you. Homestead itself is a very nice place and is close to a lot of attractions and a short drive to Key Largo and Everglades National park. We could only get 1 TV as cable has to be purchased for one month. We would check the other RV parks in the area prior to booking again.
Very nice park. We are new to the RV world and found the residents here extremely nice and very helpful. One even backed our trailer into our spot. If we were looking for an extended stay RV park, this would be the place, but we like to move around. We would give this park an overall excellent rating.
