Nice campground, packed with kids and families. Sites are very close together in most areas. Ours was near the end by a maintenance yard, but you didn't notice it much because they had a cedar hedge alongside of the camp spot. They screwed up our reservation and ended up putting us in a much better site with full service and only charged us for the smaller, less serviced site that we had booked. They are very friendly, which goes a long way in my mind! Nice pool and hot tub. Hot tub is for adults only and pool has adult only hours periodically throughout the day which is nice. I have three kids, but didn't have them this weekend so putting us in a quieter spot at the end of the campsite where there were minimal kids was a nice relaxing change. They even have a 9 hole pitch 'n put, so bring your pitching wedge and putter. If you don't like kids though, this place isn't for you during the peak season. For a pretty tightly packed campground, they have several trees around throughout the sites that give it the camping feel. I gave it a 9 based on the friendliness, cleanliness, and size of sites for such a packed campground. They even have a little outdoor restaurant made out of an Airstream trailer, which I did not try.
Just like most reviewers have said, this is a place where most sites seem to be taken by people living there. The roads are littered with construction trucks, and it definitely doesn't create a nice camping ambiance. I reserved a 30amp site, but when I got there, they only had a 50amp site for me. My trailer does not use 50 amps. The cost for a 50 amp site is more than it is for a 30 amp site, but do you think they would only charge me for a 30 amp site since they changed me to a 50 amp site? NO! They charged me for 50 amps. I will never stay here again based on this! No fire pits either so not sure how it can be named "Glowing Embers".
