I live near this place, and tried to dump the tanks on my RV. The office was locked (10 AM on a weekday morning). I talked to some rude lady via inter-com who stated they did not offer RV dumping because they did not have sewer hookups. I advised her there were several RVs hooked up with sewer connections. She stopped talking to me at that point. If they prefer not to offer dump service, then fine. The place looks dirty. If you need an overnight stay, try the Wal-Mart which is literally next door (same exit off of I-80). The Wal-Mart is cheaper (free), cleaner and no nasty lady lying to you.
This is one of my favorite campgrounds. I have stayed here several times, and for me this is the only campground to stay in while in Ocean City, MD. The activities for the children are excellent, and the families that camp here are nice. This is a large campground with many sites, so you are bound to run into someone who is not pleasant (campers, not staff). I base my review on the many nice campers I have met (the rule), not the few unpleasant ones (the exceptions). The staff is a bit on the young side, many of them most likely local college students. I really like this place and cannot wait to get back there again.
This is a nice campground, and since I was here in March it was filled mostly with snowbirds and some Florida locals. This is the closest KOA to Busch Gardens, however, it is still a 45 minute ride, but very close to the beaches. Friendly staff, clean restrooms and clean showers. A well kept and nicely landscaped campground. Many friendly camping families at the pool made for an extremely nice day. Nice hot tubs that are in a separate area away from the pool. Kids are discouraged (but not forbidden) from using hot tubs. I would definitely stay there again.
This campground is huge, and that can be good or bad depending on your likings. The only campground I have seen this large is Fort Wilderness in Walt Disney World. The staff is friendly, and I booked last minute and subsequently did not get the best site. I saw better sites than mine, but they were probably seasonal. A huge plus is that there is an RV repair/parts shop right next door. This would not be my first choice for vacation, but not a campground to avoid.
I booked a two week reservation, and left in less than 2 hours with a full refund. Their idea of full hookups was an electrical extension cord from another site strewn across tree branches to my site. I am not saying every site is like this, but that was what they gave me. I imagine the seasonal folks get the better sites. If not going seasonal, don't bother.
The campground is clean, and the value is fair for the amenities. The staff does drive around very frequently, and they do seem a bit "strict" on rule enforcement, however, I feel that this creates a nicer environment. It is a family campground, and I would definitely return there for future vacations.
