Pretty nice campground; sites are somewhat tight. We thought it was overpriced, however, but there was not much other choice. Park had free evening entertainment when we were there, which was good. RV/car wash on site, but cost was a bit high also. There was a constant line when we were there, so folks don't mind paying to have a clean vehicle!

This park only has 15 amp electric and shuts it down by 9 p.m. and restarts at 7 a.m. but charges you $18 anyway. Will not honor Passport for the site. Sites are narrow and need trees pruned back. We scratched our paint on both the coach and the toad getting out. Clerk who checked us in was rude when we complained and wanted to dry camp. I would not recommend this park.

Very nice state park. Quiet and secluded. Only one pull-through site. Beautiful trees, very colorful in the fall. We could not get cell phone service, and many sites could not get TV for the trees. Those with tri-pods had better luck. The rate is an average of weekday and higher weekend rates.

Nightly rate is with Golden Age Pass. One of the nicest Corps of Engineers (COE) parks you will ever be in. We were in site C2, and could get satellite and internet easily.

Very clean park, friendly office staff. Sites are a little tight, but manageable. We were here with a rally group, so the nightly rate was a little less than regular rate. Convenient to Walmart, Post Office, and not too far from the town square and nightly free bluegrass entertainment!

Camping rate for Coast-to-Coast members. Campground could stand some serious upkeep. Trees need trimmed away from roads and RV sites. Our 30amp breaker went out and we had to run extension to next site for two days. We stayed a week. In defense of the park, it suffered through two floods earlier in the year, and was under 20 feet of water. Really a rustic, beautiful area.

This is a great Corps of Engineers (COE) park. Long, level sites; full hook ups; 50 amp. With Golden Age pass you cannot beat $10/night. We camped four nights here.

One of the nicest fairground campgrounds we have seen. The lakefront sites are great. We spent almost two weeks here (one week being a rally) and extended just to enjoy the peace and quiet.

Good overnight park, convenient to Paducah, KY and Metropolis, IL. Nothing fancy, but nice enough.

The rate charged is for Passport/50amp. This is not a $50/night park, so I suspect rates have been increased due to getting so many Passport members, which they heavily promote on highway signs, etc. The park is a little tight for big rigs, and they do need to trim lots of trees and shrubs. The office reeks of cigarette smoke, so wear a gas mask before entering. Otherwise, the park is nice.
