Awesome place. We had to find a place due to work that had to be done on our motorhome. Outstanding dog walking big plus for us. Staff very friendly and helpful. We ended up staying 2 nights and would repeat the experience.
Staff friendly and helpful. Area clean. Walking distance to casino and good food at casino cafe. Dog walking are decent but some spots do have goatheads so be careful. The park is very safe we saw security come through quite a bit. We stayed one night and would stay again as a lay over.
This was a last minute stay. Minus - Spots tight, be careful leaving park you can scrap bottom really easy. Dog walk area sad but if you go down where they have tents and flood area it is nice for dogs. Pluses - Staff friendly, close to town and food.
The location of this park is great. We could walk to town, the museum, Wal-Mart, Dairy Queen (right next door). It had a decent dog area. The owners were very friendly - we had left another park and the owners let us walk around and pick our spot. Saturday night they had a band playing on the front porch. The sites can be a little tight but we had an end spot so we had no problems. I would go back again for a stay.
We paid for 3 nights and did not stay any of them for the following reasons: Dog walk area was nothing more than a 4 foot strip with weeds and glass (when I called was told they had a really nice dog area - this is very important to us having 3 large dogs), the wifi did not work in our spot (we were told on the phone it was available) and they were further out of town then accepted. The staff left us waiting for quite awhile. We left and stayed in town at the Ponderosa.
Awesome Awesome Awesome this park has it all and more. Staff outstanding. Staff helped us setup a rental car. National forest to walk dogs a big big plus for us. Had an end site with which allowed more room, stayed in site 164. Close to walk to town and Yellowstone. This park I would return too many times.
Sites where we were put very tight (you could hear your neighbors snore) and the electrical had issues so we had to find another one. The staff was very nice and the dog area was not the greatest for people with medium to large size dogs. Lots of trees. We stayed for one night in site 10.
Awesome area for dog walking, hiking and views of the lake and wildlife from site. It is gravel and a little tight for motorhome would be ideal for travel trailer of 5th wheel. Staff outstanding and has a cafe onsite with good food. Downside we scratched our rig leaving on some trees but I still gave it high marks.
Access to state land to walk dogs which is a big plus for us. Sites clean. Staff friendly and helpful (this was our first time out in our motorhome). You do have to pay for electric use. Stayed in site G6. Great views' and quiet.
Backs to National Forest for walking pets which is the biggest plus for us. Sites clean. There nightly movie was a little too loud and you have to be careful which site you have because your satellite dish might not work due to the trees. Stayed in site 82. Staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed one night
