The staff was very friendly and helpful. The campground is huge but the roads were well marked so you didn't get lost and a staff member guided us to our site. The site is grassy with small trees and lots of space.
Nice wide grassy pull-though sites, with trees and shade. Expensive for people like us that don't use the pool and other amenities but good for families for a weekend getaway. Would have appreciated being guided to our site because the map was confusing to a novice. The main roads were kind of narrow.
We were here for a single night on our way through the area. The campground was okay for a single night and felt like a place that you stay just to have a place to sleep. Auto museum was within walking distance.
We have stayed here twice this summer. We liked it because it has mostly pull-though sites and we were there for one night and did not want to unhook. The staff was friendly and we liked being shown to our site. It was quiet and had a nice view at each site because it is on a hillside. Love the ice cream (local brand) at check-in!
This campground surprised us, driving into it you pass through long-term rental sites which don't look so nice but when you get to the campground you are glad you came. The roads are paved and all pull-through and angled to get a view of the river. The river is the best part, sitting with a glass of wine on the swing by the river was wonderful ! We will definitely go back again.
This park is located at the north entrance to Yellowstone in the town of Gardiner, it is within walking distance to restaurants, stores and activities. The park is very clean, with especially nice restrooms and showers. The streets are wide making it easy to unhook your motor home and tow vehicle. They also have a miniature golf course included in the cost of your stay. Very quiet at night and during the day. Great views of Yellowstone, Yellowstone river and the mountains.
