We try and camp here at least twice per year. They have it all, fun activities each weekend, a full service bar and grill that has a large selection. Sites are large we are 40 ft, and have never had a problem. I am looking out my window and seeing many Class A motor homes. The only tight turn areas that we have encountered is if you get the VIP sites (which I wouldn't do...too close to entrance, store, bar/grill, pool). Area is well kept. Tons of kids activities. Will be back next month!
This was our first time here, and although the pricing structure is odd, it was worth the extra $$. In addition to the site fee, there is a per person fee, the $51 is the base price and goes up from there. We took advantage of the free mini-golf (course needs work), tubing and kayaking all equipment included in your per person fee. Camp was well kept, large sites, staff was personable and helpful. Going back next month!
This campground is very nice, we enjoyed the hiking trails. They are pet friendly, and have lots of bags and garbage buckets to pick up after your pets. I like the fact that the price includes 4 adults as we often camp with friends vs. children and have to pay extra. The grounds are very well kept. We stayed 3 nights.
Although I like this campground they tend to nickel and dime you. For example, the rate with 30AMP is the same as 50AMP but 50AMP is really only available for their "seasonal campers", as are most sites that accommodate big rigs. If you want to run your air, they charge you $1.50 per their website, but charged my friends $7.00 for one night to use their air. Sewer is also extra by the day. Their large heated indoor pool, was by no means heated, well I guess it was warmer than it comes out of the faucet, I couldn't go in it was so cold, and the room reeked of chlorine. They have nice grounds, its large and with small children hard to get around unless you want to drive. Seasonal are allowed golf carts (they whiz by at all hours) but not "campers", they should update their rules so you know them ahead of time rather than hearing "only for seasonals" to most questions.
Clean park, friendly staff. Lots of permanent sites and seasonals. Everyone (seasonals) was very friendly. Lots of activities to do. The weekend we were here had tie-dye shirts for kids and a teen dance. They have great theme weekends. Would definitely come again. Food in bar/restaurant was very good and a good price.
They put us by the Seasonals. It was nice and quiet, seemed like a whole different world then those camping by the river, it was a bit louder. There is tubing which was very fun however in the middle of the trip people "docked" for drinking and ???. Lots of 18-24 year olds. All in all we had a very nice time and would go back. The food at the onsite bar and grill was surprisingly good. I'd go back but not with small children. We camped on father's day weekend, lots of families. Not sure if this is the norm or just the weekend crowd.
Park was very clean, especially since the surrounding area was flooded. We were greeted as we walked up and the staff was friendly. Checkout was a breeze. It was conveniently located and they had shuttle service to the casino.
We camped during Sturgis Bike Week, the people were more than helpful (especially when we had to pick up a friends bike that was towed from an accident and we had no clue where it was). The food was great and the concerts an added bonus.
The campground was clean, pool was well maintained (as I was there they were scrubbing the bathrooms so I assume they were clean too). Little store was nice, had lots of things you tend to run out of. Loved the "mini" animal area. Very cute tiny donkeys, a pony and mini-goats. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay again.
This was our first trip in our first motorhome. It was the best experience. The hosts were very friendly and helpful (as were the other guests). Nice semi-private areas to park with lots of trees, I did not feel like I was at a campground, but in a private area. The area was clean, however the roads are gravel, we manuvered our almost 40' trailer around just fine. Already made reservations for next year.
Although this is not the typical "campground" it is convenient and easy to park. Its great when you are here to experience the city, not spend time in the camper. Its easy to access (off Hwy) and level ground.
This is a small but very friendly campground. The owner was very nice and helpful, he even helped us hook up our water and electric while we chatted. They are located on ATV trails (very beautiful) and have ATV rentals. Very nice campground would definitely camp again.
