We stay here four times a year since our kids live in nearby Anthem Country Club. We always request and are given (so far) the same spot on the main road entering the park. On our recent visit. There were never more than three short term units on site. I guess July in Phoenix when it is 115 degrees and no shade in site is not a great time for RVing. On our stays during other months of the year there is always a fair number of RV's but we have never seen this park full. We really like staying here and recommend it to others coming to the area.
We have stayed at Parker's Landing approximately 10 times over the past two years. For us it is the first stop out and the last stop back on our trips from Texas to Florida to visit our kids. Not a place we would vacation at (although the casinos are close and provide bus service by request) but it has been a great overnight stop as required. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We have our favorite spots and on most all trips, they can accommodate our request for those spots.
We have stayed at this park several times over the last year and consider it to be our favorite park. We are in the area several times a year visiting the kids and it is located close to their house. Very crowded during the winter and open during the summer. Last summer, they were paving sites that were previously gravel. There are two areas in the park. The newer sites have 50 amp and sewer service. The older section has 30 amp service and a "honey wagon" service (during peak times) at a reasonable cost. Nice view of lake, parks, playgrounds, and easy access to surrounding attractions and I95.
