Stayed here one night on the way to Memphis. Small but very clean, nice, and well laid out park. Grounds well manicured, nice pea gravel driveways and sites. Hookups no problem. Quiet, dumpster nearby, laundry room clean. Staff very nice and tipped us off to Lambert's Restaurant just up the road. He told us to give them a call and get a driver to pick us up at the office door, which we. Food wasn't all that great, but the atmosphere and the "throwed roll" was well worth the visit. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Next time though, we're trying the Mexican joint we saw on the way.

Nice open park, shady in areas, all hookups very good without any problems. Rear area has many permanent covers to park under for long-term guests, most of which were full. Owners have their children running the park and they are top notch; great people to deal with. They could not have been better. Breakfast is served every day, buffet style, and the girls work for tips only. If you get there early enough, the meal is very very good. Really, no need to find a restaurant at all. Their great Dane, Evie, was hoot! She visits almost everyone in the park. She played every day with our standard poodle, Fannie, even though Evie was 4 times as big. Truly a sweet dog, she showed up at our front door waiting patiently each day to play. We plan on staying here again on our return home.

When we first started camping, this is the first campground we went to for our shakedown trip. Only an hour from home, we found it delightful, shady, quiet, and quaint. When we traded for our 5th wheel, we decided to go back. The new owners are just as nice and helpful as the previous owners. They escort each camper to their site and help with parking. The lake is is really nice, so check out site #19 and #20, as well as others. Most of the camping traffic is of the overnight type, being near I-57/I-70, not open all year. But we like it for quick getaways.
