A lot of things must have changed since the previous reviewers. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, the pool was clean and bright. The restrooms that I saw were clean and well-maintained. Each space in the area where I stayed was level and gravel, with water, electric and cable. The park has mini-golf, a playground and a big pool; and it is located on a nice little lake with boats available. There are a number of seasonal visitors in some areas of the park and they have some things stored outside their RVs which gives it a little tent city look. However, I have heard no noise from anyone, and everyone: overnighter and seasonal alike, seemed very pleasant. I observed no irritating or objectionable behavior at all. They accept Passport America on Sunday - Thursday nights, giving a 50% discount. I would absolutely stay here again.

What an excellent park - it has all the benefits of a KOA - nice pool, great amenities - plus those of a smaller, personal individual park. The owners are always on site, available, friendly, and helpful. The Hot Springs KOA is definitely kid-friendly and close to Evans Plunge, Wind Cave, and all the other attractions of the Black Hills. It's a great RV Park.

With so many fine campgrounds in Moab, I don't know why anyone would choose this. Many, if not most, of the RV sites appear to be very unlevel. The staff seems much less interested than that at other RV Parks. They honor Passport America - sort of. By the time they add on all the extras the price is nearly as high as those parks who only offer Good Sam, AAA, etc. The baths are clean enough, and you won't be miserable here, but you would probably be happier elsewhere.
