This is a lovely park and the campsites are roomy and well spaced. The only reason I didn't rate it higher is that it is very busy and the supposed first come first serve sites listed on the ReserveAmerica site are not as advertised. We were there first to get them for an additional nights stay, they were empty, but park staff told us they were being saved for extra camp hosts. So don't count on being able to use the walk up sites, even during the week.

This is a hidden gem. Beautiful large roomy sites with nice grills, picnic table, and a fire pit with benches. Bathhouse was sparkling clean. Located at the end of a dead end road and very quiet. Gated with security code for nighttime access.

Campground is mostly full of permanent residents in camping units of various states of disrepair. Roads are fine. Transient area is a grassy field which is kept mowed . Utilities there are only 30 amp. Restrooms were marginally clean. Washer dryer worked well. Lots of aggressive barking dogs and feral cats. We will not stay here again. There is no nighttime security, gates are wide open, and we learned later that the park is near a very bad neighborhood. Our bikes were locked to our RV and during the night thieves cut through the bike cable locks and stole our two bikes. They also stole our neighbors bike. Park management did not warn us of this potential problem and when we reported the theft they stated that it was unusual to have 3 stolen at once. They were not surprised of the theft.

Great campground, most sites are very large and level. Dog walk was fun. Very well maintained. Some of the side loops are a little narrow but there are plenty of loops with room. We will definitely return.

Nice state park in downtown Fairbanks. Sites were good sized and clean. Convenient to amenities in city. Some road noise, but not too bad. We will stay here again.

This place was OK for a one night stop for convenience to shopping. The sites are very small and separated by a narrow grass strip. The people were very nice. The laundry was a mess as some of the long term residents are allowed to wash very muddy clothes. The WiFi was not working. Dog walking was very convenient.

The Riverside campground is ridiculous. Side by side spaces that were scarcely big enough for our motorhome and they even want to charge an extra $5 for the use of their showers. Bathrooms are not open 24 hours, so you then have to use their portapotties. We asked for our money back and they required us to pay for 2 of our 4 night reservation. At least they refunded half. To get into our site we had to drive over the firepit. There are beautiful Forest Service campgrounds a couple of miles down the road. Next time we know better. This place is a classic tourist ripoff. Website picture looks good; reality is not so pretty.
