It just keeps getting better! We’re about to complete our 8th summer in this beautiful place. The owners continue maintain and improve the park. New sprinkler systems, regular fertilizing, and mowing have the lawns looking like golf greens. The previous good reviews say it all. Fall is arriving and it’s time to migrate south, we look forward to returning next spring.
This is an older city run park and not suitable for big rigs. It was near empty during our stay so we were able to maneuver into one of the pull-through spaces. The 30 amp only service sags to 105 Volts with just a light load, water pressure is OK but the sewer hookups are a bit of a challenge. Satellite TV and Internet were OK.
The previous reviews say it all. We’re just completing our 6th winter season in this great park. The wonderful folks who gather here each winter are a joy to have as neighbors and very easy to be around. Please note: the map location on Google Earth & Maps may not be correct. The park is on Hwy 85, just north of the Marine Motel and south of another rv park, Belly Acres and across the street from the Chevron station and Olsen’s IGA.
We just concluded our 5th summer in this peaceful beautiful place. The previous reviews say it all, we're fulltime snowbirds and it was time to begin the migration south but we can't wait to return next spring. This is a great park and town.
Note the name change from Miller's to Winchester RV Park & Campground. This will be our 4th summer in this beautiful park. The new owners have maintained and improved all of the park facilities. Verizon cell service is strong and internet access is available in the park office.
This is our 3rd visit to “The Best Little RV Park in Reno” Each time here we see the improvements continue. The sites are paved, level, clean and have excellent power, water and sewer connections. The Wi-Fi is strong and fast and the cable TV has 50+ channels. The on site fuel station has the best prices on diesel and propane in the area and the small casino has a convenience store and a good restaurant.
This is our 2nd visit. Last year we planed to stay 1 week and stayed 6. This year we plan to stay 2 months. The park has changed owners but it's still the same quite, peaceful, beautiful place it was last year. The $9.00 rate is based on the monthly $270 + Elctric.
Very nice small park on the North end of town. We are fully "Self Contained" so we don't look for rest rooms, laundry, wifi etc. Verizon cell signal is great, 4 bars 1X. Good grocery store across the street. Friendly folks, we plan to stay a month, @ $275+ electric and tax.
Great place to find peace and quiet. Arrived in sunshine, next morning we are having a snow shower. The grass sites drain well and there is no standing water or mud. Verizon service and satellite internet / TV works well. Sept. is a slow month and we are the only guests in the park. We will return.
Republic, Washington is in a remote valley just south of the Canadian border. Miller's RV Park has no hot tub, swimming pool, water slides or other distractions. This beautifully manicured park is a great place for adults who want some peace and quiet. The sites are spacious and level. The paved pads are surrounded by lawns that look like golf greens and Golden Willows. The nearby town of Republic (population less than 1,000) has a good selection of shops and stores. We originally planned to stay one week and have extended our stay for a month. The $9.00 per day rate is based on the monthly rate. We plan to return next summer.
