Let’s see what is there good to say about this Campground, Not Much. The road going in is rough and would be a real mess when it rains. Laundry is so so with only 2 washers & dryers. There are a lot of extra charges like $1 per guest visiting and $5 per guest if they stay more than 4 hours. Owner operator is a little overboard, she thinks everyone should be perfect when they are parking a big rig, we touched one of the trees when backing up and she insisted we move, so we did to another RV Park. We ended up saving $100 on the monthly rate at an RV Park just up the road. The short of it is we had booked for a month but moved after one night. We do not recommend this Campground if you are staying in the Regina area.
Park is way over-priced for the off season, they charged us for an electric site only: $35 plus $3.50 for a pet. Water was not turned on. As well, it's close to main road and can be quite noisy. Would not stay here again.
We are not sure why, or how the previous 3 people rated this RV Park at an 8. The park is very dusty and the overall appearance leaves a lot to be desired. The laundry facility is totally inadequate as it only has 2 washers and dryers: we had to take our laundry to a local Laundromat. We would not recommend this park nor will we stay here again.
This RV Park is on the West side of Amarillo. It is one of the best RV Parks we have been for size, lots of room. Excellent Wi-Fi, indoor pool and games room. The only down fall is that the interior roads are not paved and have little gravel. It had rained while we were there and they were wet and muddy.
This park is way over priced for what you get. As said by a previous post it seems run down and there are lots of permanent units with some looking pretty shabby. The good things about the park is that it is quiet, wi-fi was excellent, and they are pet friendly. We would look for a different park if we were to return to the area.
This is a very good RV Park located west of the city but easy access to the downtown area. Excellent price for what you get. Our spot was near the back of the park and it was very quiet at night. Why pay more at the park next door when you can stay hear for under $20/night. We would stay again when in the area.
Good location to visit Ft Worth or Dallas. Laundry facilities were excellent but after that there is a not a lot of good things to be said. The office staff were totally incompetent, they sent us to overflow when there were numerous sites open. We did get it changed but were not impressed. The sites are narrow and close to your neighbor. Noise is load in the morning starting at 6:30 AM as numerous helicopters come and go from the near by airport. We would not stay again at this location.
We stayed for a week while visiting the Houston, Galveston area. Only 25 minutes to either city. Park is well kept as maintenance people are always doing something. Great place to stay away from the big city and close to attractions, only 9 miles to LBJ Space Center. We would stay here again.
This park is only so so, due to all of the permanent residents. They do keep the short term RV'rs separate, but some of the units are noticeable. It is close to shopping, so that was good. Laundry was only fair as 5 out of 8 dryers were out-of-order and it looked like no one was going to repair them anytime soon. We would stay again, but only short term.
This park is just OK. We booked for a month but decided to leave after 11 days. The first problem we encountered is the site they assigned and the person assigned to take us to our site. That person was totally useless, and we should have gone back to the office and asked for a different site. After great difficulty backing in, we found the site was so tight that we had people on all sides, who were only a few feet from our trailer. The residence in the park are friendly and there are a fair amount of activities. Internet worked very well. Laundry facilities were only moderately OK. We would not stay again, but part of that is we did not care for the area.
This is an excellent RV Park. riendly and helpful staff make you feel at home. The park is clean and neat. They offer a free continental breakfast every morning which was great. As well Wi-Fi was included in the price and worked very well. We definitely will use this park again when we are in the area.
The appearance of this park is great, its location for touring the area is good. The biggest downfall is the close proximity of some of the sites. After we set up we had neighbours back in beside us, the site design placed the back of their 5th wheel so close to our trailer that we could not walk between the two units. As well it is not the easiest sites to back into, we had to cut across the corner of the parking pad, this makes it hard the tires. Who ever designed this park really did not do a good job. Yes they utilized all the space they had available but it places the sites way to close together. For the price you pay at this park it is not really worth it.
This is an excellent RV Park. It is located West of Tucson about 10 miles, so it really feels like you are not staying in a big city. Park is very pet friendly and there are lots of activities for the residents. The owner does an excellent job making you feel welcome. Excellent hiking trails adjacent the park. This is the first park we found in Arizona that includes electricity and Wi-Fi in there fee. The only draw back to the park is that some sites are close together, however we were fortunate to have a larger site and there was quit enough room.
The first thing you need to be aware of that is they do not take Credit Cards or Debit Cards, cash or check only. We were in the newer section on the east side and it was quite noisy with the road running directly behind us. Park activities and entertainment is excellent. East laundromat is very large and can easily handle the traffic through this facility. On site golf course is so so but the price is right. Office staff are not all that friendly.
Park is OK if you are stopping in Laughlin for the Casinos. Space is very narrow, we could not put our awning out without hitting our neighbor. Office staff were unfriendly and acted like they did not want to be there, not helpful at all. The only good thing about the park was that it was low cost as we stayed on the weekly special of $109/wk.
This is an excellent RV Park, the access was great with plenty of width for the pull through. Staff was very friendly, we certainly would recommend this park if you are staying in the Bakersfield area.
The check in staff were excellent, very willing to help with any questions. The spaces were a bit crowded and the Wi-Fi, that they advertised was very poor. Note they also charge extra for this service & unless it works it is not worth signing up to use. Park is in a great location for visiting the SF area and Napa Valley.
We stopped for one night, and the park is OK. We had a 38' fifth wheel which was easy to drive into their pull throughs, however it might be difficult in peak season as pull throughs are parallel to road and could be quite tight.
The park is only so so. Sights are quite narrow and not suited for big rigs with slides. In addition, do not sign up for their Wi-Fi as it costs an extra $5 per day, simply not worth it. They do have some very strict pet rules but that was OK as it is only common sense. OK for overnight but we would not stay any longer than that.
The park is old and they do not have a lot of sites for big rigs. They did find one for us and it was OK after we maneuvered around an obstacle of trees. There are a number of permanent residence in this park so there are not a lot of sites available for the traveling RVer.
The park is just alright. Location is good close to highway 101, however the park is surrounded by industrial sites that take away from the location. We have stayed at a number of KOA's and this one is only average compared to others.
This is an excellent RV Park with great amenities. The staff are excellent and always willing to help in case you need anything or have any questions. We would definitely recommend this RV Park and we plan to stay here again the next time we are visiting the lower mainland.
The park is OK; however, there are reasons we only rated it a 6 out of 10. First they advertise Wi-Fi, but it only worked 1 day out of the 30 we were there. Second when we booked we specifically asked for a site that could handle our 38' fifth wheel, but they put is in a small site with the back end overhanging a drop off. (We moved after the first week to a larger site.) Fourth the main facilities were older and there was a disappointing discussion with an older gentleman at their office whose comments were "if you do not like it you can leave and get your money back." Fourth there are a number of permanent units near the club house. A number of them look run down and in need of some maintenance. This really takes away from the RV park.
Still the best RV Park in the lower mainland. However we reduced the rating from the last time we stayed because of two factors, 1) Internet service was flaky and 2) Laundry facilities especially the floor was a bit dirty. Still a good RV Park and close to historic Ft Langley.
The park is very clean and neat, well maintained. Check in staff were courteous and friendly. All roads and sites are paved. Excellent Wi-Fi included with fees. The only draw back is that you are quite close to your neighbors.
It was very difficult to feel welcome at this RV Park. The owners are way, way over the top when it comes to the enviroment. In addition, they complain about everything and everybody, makes you wonder why they are in a business that is exposed to the public. One of them actually walked through our site daily making an inspection. The RV Park is crowed and not big rig friendly. The only reason we rated this RV Park a 2 is because the WiFi connection was good. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RV PARK, WE WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.
The park was only so so. We stayed for 3 nights while visiting the area. The Wi-Fi service was really flaky and very slow. Laundry facilities were old and not very clean. The campsites were OK however some of the picnic tables were not placed well on the sites (Concrete tables could not move). At the time of year we stayed there was few choices, we are sure there is probably better parks to stay at if one was visiting earlier in the year.
The park is not bad for the price. The only draw back is that the full service sites only have 15 amp power so you have to be real careful not to trip the breaker. Price is good and the campgrounds are close to such things as the golf course and the rec center. We would recommend the campgrounds if you are in the Stettler area.
We stayed for 2 weeks, this is a fairly new RV Park located 7.5 kl north of Cochrane. The park is well maintained offering full services. There is plenty of space between sites, drive throughs are large and easy to access. Staff are very friendly and helpful, guests are escorted to their sites by staff. We will definitely stay hear again.
The campground was clean and neat; however, the cost of this campground is quite high. The thing we were really disappointed in is the fact they charged us an extra $6.50 for making a reservation. It is not the amount, but the fact that at no time did they inform us of this extra charge at the time of making this reservation. We will not stay at this park again as we felt this was a case of gouging.
We stayed for 9 days in our 5er. RV Park is clean and neat. Wi-Fi service was good when we first checked in and then quit working the 3rd day. The staff did not believe us that it was not working, and only 2 days later after numerous complaints they finally checked into it and found there to be a problem. The location can be quite noisy at times as it is along side of the Trans Canada Highway; if you do not mind this aspect it is an OK place to stay.
We only stayed one night, the RV Park was clean, neat and well maintained. We did not use many of their facilities. The only down side is the sites are a bit narrow but we did fit with all slides extended. Great place to stay if you ar passing through or visiting Moose Jaw. We would definitely stay again.
Close to the city, park is clean and well maintained, however it is pricey for what you get. Pull throughs are very close together. They advertize WiFi howevr it only works when you are within 100 yds of the main office. We likely will not stay here again as there are other RV parks close to Calgary at a more reasonable price.
This is an excellent RV park. We looked at a number of RV parks in the lower mainland area and would have to rate this the best by far. The thing that makes better than so many others in the area is that you do not see the permanent RVs at this park. They have a maximum 4 month stay policy per year and we think that is great. As well the park is clean, with friendly & helpful staff and close to Ft Langley (smaller community with character).
This was an excellent campgrounds, plenty of room between sites. We were camping with our 8 yr old grandson and he loved the pool and playground area. Excellent location to Devils Tower. Highly recommend a visit to this campgrounds.
Excellent park, road in was a bit muddy as it rained quite heavy the day we arrived. However we were told the road would be paved within 2 weeks, this will make for a lot better access. Very clean facilities and friendly staff.
Very nice a clean facilities, we traveled with our Grandson (age 8) and he loved it, swimming pool, able to meet other children. He had great time. We wish we had stayed and extra day as it was quite enjoyable.
