Park hosts are a little unfriendly. Asked the host which site we were going to and he mumbled something unintelligible, gave the impression that I aggravated him, and started driving to a site. The sites are very close together. There is limited shade. Our section of the park was all gravel with a small concrete patio. No table or anything outside other than a concrete patio. The park is just OK for an overnight stay, I would not consider staying here for anything other than an overnight on the way to somewhere else.
Very clean park. Has nice wooden swings next to each site. Next to I-40 but the road noise is not bad. Well stocked store. Wi-Fi works very well. Convenient to most of the fun stuff in ABQ. Good view of the Sandia Mtns from our site. Would definitely stay here again.
Nice park close to Custer and all the sights. Park is clean, staff is very helpful. Only negative here is the Wi-Fi and lack of cellular data coverage. The Wi-Fi logs you out after 30 minutes and you have to enter the login/password every time you log back in. Verizon data is not reachable where we were in the campground. Lots of families here which made for a noisy pool, but the campground is quiet at night.
Very friendly host. Grounds are spotless. Lots of room between sites. Close to interstate, but road noise not too bad. Big showers and very clean restrooms. Steakhouse next door must be good, lots of cars there as well as truckers. Very nice place to spend the night
