What a trashy campground, one of the worse I have seen. Half the sites either did not have working water spigot or power. How do they provide the 30-AMP service? They put a 25 or 30-AMP fuse into a 20-AMP household outlet. My power strip showed that the outlets are not grounded. The sewer smell in our first site was so bad that we had to re-hookup the trailer and move. Couldn't move to the upper sites, because they only have 50-AMP outlets. The 30-AMP sites do not have sewer hookups. There appears to be very little cleaning and maintenance being done at this campground, although the upper bathroom is closed and being renovated. Yes, it is close to the Carlsbad Caverns, but I would travel the extra 25 miles to camp elsewhere.
It is well maintained and clean. Sites are level paved pads with a strip of grass between sites. They are packed pretty tight with no room for picnic tables and no trees, but this is a nice park. It has good internet access with free wi-fi. The showers and rest rooms are very clean.
A nice camp, clean, treed, a large play area at the back for my puppy. Only problem is that there are lots of users who do not pick up after their dogs, so lots of land mines! Tread carefully all around the park. Also, there is no internet access from the back of the park. Showers were clean and hot.
The folks that checked us in lied about the rates at the other campground in the area. This "campground" is more aptly described as a trailer park. Gravel sites, no trees, bathrooms closed, and it is just an extension of the local trailer park. Old pickups cutting through at high speed, raising dust, absolutely unattractive. Rather stay in a rest area.
A very nice campground. Accommodating staff, nice surroundings, and very close to Disney Land. We couldn't get their pay-for-internet (Tengo internet) access to work, but they have a shared computer in the clubhouse that worked just fine. It is nice and quiet, if you don't mind trains, which we got used to real quickly. That might have something to do with exhausting days at Disney Land.
We couldn't get internet access to work. The woman's shower would not work and man's shower had a window that anyone could just look through. Other than that, the place was nice and clean, in an attractive setting.
Nice, clean, new, and owner waited around after closing to check us in -- it just took a phone call. This was a quick in-and-out, so we really didn't get much of a feel for the campground, but what we saw was nice. The restrooms clean, but you need to pay for the showers.
