This is not a deluxe, all-inclusive, entertain-you-all-day type resort. But if you are looking for a clean, safe and friendly place to set up your campsite, the onsite proprieters provide all this. I like being able to take a complete and hot shower, not having to worry about paying 50-cents for each 3 minutes. There is a fishing dock and the Yakima River flows right by. Wine tasting abounds in the area and a boat-launching site is directly across the street. The convenient location to everything I wanted to see made it doubly nice. I wish my schedule would have allowed me stay longer.
I felt the price paid was not worth the site I was assigned. I was totally on an asphalt setting approximately 10'x30' and the oddest thing was they put the table and the hookups on the same side, which, if you know RV's: the door is usually on the opposite side of the hook-ups. I suppose that if you are expecting a resort with just about every amenity you could want and more, this would be ideal. They have a kid's play area, sand volleyball, basketball, pool, sauna, spa and a casino across the street. I would have preferred more room, grass and trees for shade, a raised bbq/cooking station and more of a camping atmosphere.
Although this RV Park is laid out side-by-side, I was able to secure a spot next to the tent area which did not look like they had been occupied for some time, giving me a little privacy. The location of this RV Park is excellent for wine lovers as a group of tasting rooms are in walking distance. The amenities at the Park are on par for the price, although the hot tob was not working at the time. The only down side, although there were four shower rooms in the public restroom facility, only one of those rooms had a toilet.
