We were impressed with this park. The manager and the full time residents were all exceptionally friendly. Our site for one night included water and electric, although sewer hookup is available. We would stay again if in the area.
We were very impressed with this park. The parents of the owner were in charge of the park when we were there. They were exceptionally friendly. We did not use the restrooms, but I checked them out. They are available 24 hours a day and they were very clean. There is a sitting room with a TV which is part of the restroom area. There is a code for security, and we checked out the restrooms after the office was closed. We would definitely stay again if in the area. Our site had Wi-Fi but no TV. Rate includes Good Sam discount.
I am very disappointed. I read the review of this park and decided to call them to see about staying there for a few nights. We don't live far from this park. They are NOT open to the public. It is strictly a membership park which means one has to purchase a lot. Although they will let nonmembers tour the park, they do not even have any available sites to stay on to check out the park. Guest passes are only available if one knows a person who is a member. Otherwise, one needs to purchase a lot to stay here. I believe campers need to know this about Woodsmoke Ranch.
Had a fantastic time. Two of our children, their spouses, and all of our grandchildren were with us. The activities for the kids were great. Saw the bears often and they paid a lot of attention to the kids. The camp workers were all very friendly and really seemed to enjoy what they were doing. One thing I really liked about this park is that the activities are all centered in one location. There are no golf carts. There are two swimming pools, two hot tubs, and a kiddie pool. They have a nice playground. My only negative comment about the park is that in addition to the camping fee, we had to pay $3.00 for our dog. We have never had to pay for the dog before. Other than that, everything was perfect. We'll definitely return.
We stayed here for two nights with our 7 year old grandson. Having taken him to other Yogi Bear parks, I decided this one was geared to older kids. Golf carts flew around the park like they were crazy, and a girl fell off one right in front of our trailer as we were watching. There were not many activities for younger children as there are in other Yogi Bear parks. We saw Boo Boo once on a "heyride," but he didn't even stay around to greet the kids. In 48+ hours, we did not see any of the other bears. The workers were cordial, but I wouldn't say they were friendly compared with the other parks we have stayed in. Our rate is based on a midweek two-for-one rate. We might consider staying again due to the midweek rate.
A nice, quiet RV park. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Cable TV and Wi-Fi were both included in the rate. Although this resort is on Taneycomo Lake, there are no lakefront RV sites. There is also a motel which is lakefront. However, the RV Park is small and the sites are not far from the water. There is a swimming pool next to the RV sites and an area for dogs near the lake. Dock fishing is available, or one can rent dock space for a boat. Boat rentals are available nearby. Although we didn't used the restrooms, I checked them out and they were nicely decorated and clean. There is a very small playground. This park is secluded and outside of the commercial area of Branson. There are a lot of trees. We would definitely stay here again. In fact, we ended up staying for a week.
