We stayed here for a couple of months to prepare for full-timing. The owners are great folks and very helpful. If you are there at the right time, there are bluegrass festivals at the campground. There are smaller wooded sites, but we stayed in the open field area which has a couple of 50 amp sites. There are a fair number of permanent trailers in the woods area which makes the place seem old. We were there during a rainy and snowy spell, so the campground was rather soggy and muddy the whole time. We will still go back.
We're staying here for three nights and couldn't be happier. Level sites, new complete hook-ups and open enough for satellite. The couple here has re-done the place so everything is in great shape. And the owners couldn't be more helpful and friendly. They walked us to our site and made sure we had what we needed including bringing us information on restaurants, etc. in the area. The highway is close, but that didn't bother us at all. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
